"All great relations.h.i.+ps need a little bit of conflict every once in a while." Talisha said as she gave her a sympathetic pat on the shoulder. "Makes you stronger in the end." Ariana sighed her thanks but wasn't really in the mood to explain what happened.

"Thank you for your help but I should be going." She said politely before she walked off with her friends, not even spare a glance at the Brentons to see if they raised their heads.

"Did you see her face!" Halina whispered as loudly as she dared. "F*ck this facade! I'm gonna be blacklisted from now on because of her stupidity. I think everyone was right, it's best that I act as myself instead of some helpless b*tch." Talisha shouted as she showed off a toothy smile. "I should ask my mom about t-s.h.i.+rts." Edlyn said as she gave Talisha a wink. "Oh please! You were so sweet back there! Like you have a bad bone in your body!" Talisha laughed loudly. "I can be bad! Besides everyone is going to be staying away from all of you now. I say good! If they can't see how great you guys are then I don't need to mingle with anyone else." Edlyn shouted with a humpf.

"So I guess that means we can still enjoy eachother's company." A familiar voice called out. Edlyn slowly turned her head while Thor started jumping forward. 'Daddy! Daddy is back!' He giggled as he moved forward. "You're back..." Edlyn whispered while on lookers started to whisper. Ariana pulled Talisha and Halina aside allowing Edlyn to stand alone in front of Xander. "I wanted to.... talk... see... um it's good to see you're doing fine." Xander said as he slightly blushed. "I mean... you always look very.... fine... I mean... today you look so beaut... very lovely... today you look better then fine." Xander continued to stumble with his words.

Halina and Ariana quickly grabbed one another and started hugging eachother as they tried to hold in their squeals. While Talisha raced off to get a plate of food before the show got any better. "Thank you." Edlyn said as she gave her hips a small sway. The satin white, tea dress with the plum blossom print s.h.i.+mmered under the sunlight. Her soft, pink curls were pulled elegantly to the side and pinned to make her it look more picturesque. "I wanted to let you know..." He said as he took a few steps forward, catching Edlyn's delicate hand within his own. "That I have spoken to my parents." He said breathlessly.

"Oh... That's good. I mean great news." Edlyn said as her gaze locked with Xander's, her eyes sparkled with hope and antic.i.p.ation. "Yes... I wanted to thank you. I have convinced them to set me free. I am now allowed to pursue my own life and I had to tell you first." Xander said as he brought Edlyn's hand to his lips. Placing a small kiss over top of her knuckles. "This... is not what it looks like." Talisha said as she popped in a grape. "Sh*t." Ariana said as she let Halina go. "What?! What is going on?!" Halina whispered but Ariana and Talisha gave her a deadpan look. "What does that mean?" Edlyn asked as her face started to flush.

Ariana said as she tried to hug her but Edlyn stepped out of reach. "Please." She said before she running away from them and out of the training grounds.

"Well if they ain't gossiping about Edlyn." Talisha said as she watched Edlyn disappear. "They will be now." Ariana looked at Talisha and gave her a look for of determination. "Not if I do something about it." She said before heading into the crowd.
