'Separated forever?'

While cupping his face and sitting comfortably on the farthest edge of the bal.u.s.trade, a red cap wearing boy's face crumpled in confusion. He was watching the commotion below and witnessed everything that happened. He was there starting from when the pretty girl with nice hair bangs was ganged up by those face-changer-wearing agents to when another beautiful woman dressed in all black spouted those confusing words.

The teenager was actually about to gift something 'nice' again to his stalking target when Clarissa's other enemy host beat him to it.

Due to this, he settled with being a spectator. So far, though subpar and not really comparable to the explosions he makes, the drama and action those two staged were still quite amusing for him. Right now, although everything downstairs could surely scare the wits out of every normal person watching at close proximity, for the fourteen-year-old Level 5 host, the scene was like a comedy!

In his eyes, the woman oblivious to the fact that her mafia lord's people had long been exchanged with fakes was a clown! He was barely stopping himself from laughing and pointing a forefinger at her!

He badly wanted to go down there and slap the truth to her face.

'Hey, my beautiful Clarissa! None of them are your people!'

'All of them are men Gio Albarez has poached from the military!'

'How come you can't tell?'

It was sad that he couldn't join the fun downstairs. He couldn't intervene, otherwise, he wouldn't see the next part of the live action.

Still, with the desire to share his joy with his partner, he said to his brain's sole occupant, "I can't believe it! Dang it! System! Is my dearest Clarissa so handicapped by my fourth ability that she forgot there's another host after her life? Hey, hey, hey! Is that really the case! But it's just messing up with her fear or anger! Hahaha! Am I that great? Or has she always been this stupid! I really can't believe it! I thought she's become smarter because she's now aware what I did to her!"

Leo also began to let out tongue-clicking noises. His eyes were still glued to the scene, now watching Sofony Mendez' movements.

Not long after, the teleporter kid had his attention piqued by the white wearing agent who somehow managed to share the barrier with Clarissa. He began laughing more, finding it funny how the woman never considered the possibility of someone getting under the s.h.i.+eld with her.

"Hehe, did I cause her to believe that 10k points item will make her invincible?"

He laughed while shaking his little head, "This is why it's so funny! And I'm proven, right! As expected, there's no way somebody who can be an Official Host is just a crybaby! See, obviously, everything has been planned. But this Host 137 is still quite stupid. What if Clarissa is not a secondary host who only has one ability under level 5? Won't her plans go to waste then? What do you think, 37?"

He waved a hand, gesturing it was okay to deduct the said amount of points. Afterward, he asked, "By the way, why did she say she's now separated forever from those two that she sent off this afternoon? I'm confused. I thought they will just be gone for a year. I didn't bomb their plane, so why?"

The system asked whether he'd be willing to pay another 200 for the answer. He consented and then a minute later, after it told him what this lower-leveled host did, his mouth automatically opened wide forming an 'o' shape.

He stared at the black dressed woman below who was still spouting dramatic lines to the unconscious girl stupidly lying on the cold cement floor, his face showed a hint of surprise. A couple of seconds later, he began laughing, amused by the look of extreme hatred, unwillingness, sadness, and thirst for revenge that crossed that female host's face.

"Though hers is faked, I think me and this Host 137 can get along! Hehe! I like what she did just become crazier and more decisive! I like it! That's right, be crazy! No, crazier! Hahaha! It's because no sober host will ever survive the harshness of this world! Only if you are very crazy will you have enough conviction to always forge ahead! Hahaha!"

As usual, his AI began showering praises for his remarks, complimenting him for his very practical words. After that, it asked,

Leo laughed, not due to his worrywart partner's questions, but due to seeing Sofony Mendez and Gio Albarez leading a disheveled-haired, long-white-coat-wearing lady to where Clarissa was.

He didn't answer it.

But actually, maybe that was already his reply. He disregarded the question for he believed that there's just no way that other host would choose to groom another secondary host starting from level 1. Life is obviously a game and since they were all at this stage already, why would she dumbly choose to waste time and effort for another Clarissa when the current one was only one level away from Level 5?

In other words, why should he worry that him sparing this stalking target's life last Sat.u.r.day would be a lost cause?

This was why Leo only laughed.

He spent the rest of the time watching the three below talk about Clarissa. Not long after, when the barrier's effect expired, the woman with a very unkempt hair who seemed to be a scientist commanded her people to securely tie and bound the unconscious woman to a stretcher so they could bring her away. A few seconds later, Sofony Mendez erased Gio's agents' memories, hypnotizing them that they've never set foot outside of Alina City tonight. Afterward, she made them take off their masks, resulting in them regaining their real appearance.

He then saw the couple nodding at each other. After that, the whole group left, disappearing into the darkness outside of the old-fas.h.i.+oned mansion.

From beginning to the end, none of them, not even Sofony, realized that Leo Jones was with them, joining their convoy as they headed to that lady scientist's laboratory in Alina City.
