What neck wound?

"Poisoned!" The girl raised her voice in fright. Even though she hadn't truly verified whether the person was the one she was hoping he was, she crouched down next to him, also trembling. She kept extending and withdrawing her hands but in the end didn't dare touch him.

He was suddenly in deep pain. Even without him groaning and saying, it was too obvious from his bodily reactions.
