Red-faced and humiliated, the master of the mansion immediately evacuated the people from the second floor. Not long after, the party was hastily concluded, ending with absolute awkwardness and shame of the Silvers, Hermosos, and Abensons.

A few of the guests left while complaining about how terrible the party was, the others saying this was the most entertaining event they had ever attended. But no matter how people expressed their dissatisfaction or amus.e.m.e.nt about the party or the incidents, the Silver family could only apologize. As the hosts, they could only shoulder the blame for letting their guests witnessed a scandal.

Of course, none truly blamed the hosts for this and were even taking pity on them. Everyone knew the truth and attributed their amus.e.m.e.nt or bad impression to the two real party p.o.o.pers. In other words, everyone understood that the only problem with the Silvers was unluckily inviting shameless people. No one blamed them for the actual p.o.o.ping incident of that Lara Abenson.

However, the Silvers were still not comforted. Since this still reflected badly to them, Sofony and the couple became very embarra.s.sed, yet on top of the embarra.s.sment, the anger was still more prominent.

This anger fuelled five things to take place.

First, that room, which still stunk of something unspeakable despite having been perfumed and cleaned, would be forever closed down. Or at least it would never be used again to entertain guests anymore. Actually, Cindy and Harry even wanted to burn the whole mansion down. Thankfully, the masters of the house came back to their senses and decided to just never let the room be opened and used forever, not even as storage.

Second, as Harry later on said, the unspeakable history of the room would still forever haunt them, making them unable to stomach looking at it or anything from it. They would also be embarra.s.sed to use the house for another event.

Whatever it was, the news about this epic party would eventually die down. But strong memories wouldn't. Just the sight of the door itself could easily remind them how a shameless b.i.t.c.h turned an important event into a joke of the century. This fact was like a painful knife tearing through the Silver family's pride and image.

Because of this, even though the room was already locked up, Harry still decided to change their main residence. This way, they could move on faster.

The third thing that happened as a consequence to angering the Silver family was the end of any contact, relations.h.i.+p, and partners.h.i.+p with the Hermoso family and Abenson family. Even though the Silvers had many joint projects with the Hermoso given that they were also in the food and drinks industry, they still didn't hesitate and decisively cut off all forms of relations.h.i.+ps with them. The same was true with the Abenson. And this all happened before the midnight of the same Sunday.

Not only that, but the Silvers also exercised their extensive influence and relations.h.i.+ps with other great families. As a result, many shareholders and partners had backed out, leaving the stocks of the Hermoso and Abenson's companies to plunge down continuously.

All of these might not be enough to make the two families bankrupt, even so, their foundation had been hurt so much that half of their wealth evaporated within three days. This almost made the Abensons disown Lara, the root of their shame and current misfortune.

Fourth, despite knowing that this would get their names and place mentioned, the Silvers still pushed forward the publication of this news to various media. Naturally, they faced opposition from the other side, especially the mayor who had probably made a deal with the TV and radio stations to not broadcast anything related directly or indirectly with the issue.

Fortunately, Gio helped out thus the matter was blown up into an exaggerated proportion to the social media and newspapers. There was even a video recording... which seemed to have come from the camera tossed by Bienvenido Hermoso that was picked up by one of the male guests. The clip was of course partially mosaiced, but even so, just this alone already sparked so many threads and posts for almost a month in the social media. Cough...details about the reactions were to be omitted. After all, this would lead to more than ten thousand words worth of lecture about humanity's unlimited potential in making up curses and scoldings.

By the way, as added information, Gio also took advantage of this c.r.a.p craze issue to also showcase the other disgusting deeds of Lara Abenson, to which the second worst was her drug pus.h.i.+ng history...

Another wave of criticisms and violent reactions from the citizens washed over the Abensons. And their numerous political enemies were more than happy to take advantage of it. All of them questioned Mayor Abenson's qualifications as a high official and even painted him as a drug addict and scourge of society. To further hurt the fat mayor's reputation, various reports of corruption, engagement in prost.i.tution, and other despicable charges had been brought up by the opposing politicians, but these were already beyond Sofony and Gio's scope of interest.

The last thing the Silvers did as an official declaration of war against the other two families was to go all out in their attempts to kill the compet.i.tion. In other words, Sofony's new parents almost exhausted all their energy just to push the Hermosos and Abensons towards bankruptcy. This spark the many future business confrontations between these families. In the future, bidding wars, business espionage and stealing of clients, shareholders and consumers would be the norms between the three parties. There would even be numerous cases of a frame-up, sabotage, and a.s.sa.s.sination.

And okay, those were for the Silvers.

In reality, the host side was not the only one angered and grossed out by the incident. Everyone who heard and saw it, with reasons being either offended or just wanted to throw rocks at a person, also made a move against them. Some only contributed to propagating the rumors to both the high and commoner's society, the others joined the Silvers in making the other parties bankrupt.

The Hermoso and the Abensons were no fools though and would not let themselves be sitting ducks. They also pulled up people from other cities and countries in an attempt to stabilize the situation. Of course, they faced challenges everywhere, but as deeply rooted families, they managed to get by. Also, because they also disowned or cut ties with Lara and Bienvenido, the attacks gradually died down, or plainly got concentrated into the two individuals.

In the end, only two parties remained adamant on opposing the Hermoso and the Abenson family. Setting the Silvers aside, there was the rich madam of the Zheng family who was the kind-looking and celebrity-like rich woman that tried to invite Sofony and Gio at the balcony.

That time, the rich madam was only thinking that she couldn't possibly steal the limelight from the daughter of the Silvers at the hall, so she requested a separate room upstairs from the hosts. Her goal was to exhibit some of her products to the other madams and businessmen.

The point here was, the Zhengs were actually rich migrants from another country that wanted to expand to Country F. Since they were not yet as deeply rooted as the other families, the rich madam wanted to take advantage of this event to do a showcase since there were many local elitists and socialites that would be attending, all of this she planned in order to increase her merits for the main branch.

Sadly.... this happened.

What she witnessed even rendered her fainting before everyone's eyes...

Anyway, the failure of her business and connection-making plot made this Zheng madam bore hatred against the two dogs in heat. This was why when presented the opportunity, she eagerly burned some money for months and did her best to add fuel to the fire brought by the Silvers upon the opposing side.

The madam didn't know, but she was actually Sofony's unaccounted victim.
