'An impostor?'

The young man finally came back to his senses after being shocked by Wendy's wretched state. He was now looking at the other 'Wendy' who suddenly barged in while looking aloof and emitting proud aura. The girl looked like she came here after running miles worth of distance, but even this still could not hide her queen of the world aura.

'...Did you deceive me, b.a.s.t.a.r.d?'

He begrudgingly said because the 'Wendy' who appeared from the other door seemed to be the one who fits his impression better.

The one he asked was naturally the noisy thing in his head as he was really puzzled why there were two Wendies.

A raging voice answered.

Its angry remarks continued,

Chris immediately realized the situation after its confirmation. He reckoned the devil got angry because he didn't believe it. If that was the case, it means the Wendy nearer to him, the one who seemingly broke down after being mind-controlled, was the real arrogant campus beauty. And the newcomer was an impostor.

'd.a.m.n, what the h.e.l.l is happening?' he muttered, tempted to ma.s.sage his slightly aching forehead.

He vigilantly watched out for what the newcomer would do. The imaginary alarm bells in his head, including the failure of a devil, were alerting him constantly of dangers.

Chris was very suspicious of this 'Wendy' who looked exactly like the real one. Numerous questions were plaguing his head, like... Why is suddenly there's an impostor? Why does she look exactly like the real one? Is she having bad intentions against the real Wendy? Is she a doppelganger? This was stupid thinking, but if she was a real doppelganger, does it mean she's planning to get rid of Wendy?

An in case she was not... since everything looked premeditated...

'Is she Clarissa Guzman's accomplice?'

"Teachers! Are you alright!???? Someone alerted me that a girl impersonating me a.s.saulted a teacher!" 'Wendy's panicked voice was directed to the teachers that were still hugging each other at the corner.

The Faculty President dumbfoundedly looked and pointed a finger at her, before giving a scared glance to the crying Wendy at the left door. "T-this? W-who are you?"

The impostor ran towards the group of teachers while shouting, "Teachers, don't be afraid, I'm Wendy. I have already called for help and anytime soon, they'll be coming. B-but just who has the guts to attach a teacher?"

"Y-you..." Mrs. Santiago flinched and jumped away when the impostor arrived at her side. Confusion was also in her eyes, but at least she didn't do anything or throw anything at the impostor. It was maybe because of too much confusion, aside from knowing that the real dangerous Wendy was the one still crying near the door.

A second later though, one of the teachers seemingly asked himself, "W-what's happening? Who is the real Wendy?"

"Teacher, what are you saying? I'm Wendy?" The impostor said.

When Chris looked at everyone's faces, his heart grew because they were all starting to believe the impostor's claim.

"T-this, someone really looks like me?" 'Wendy' finally saw the other Wendy who looked so disheveled and broken on the other side. Her face initially showed shock, but then it immediately turned into anger. "W-WHO ARE YOU? Why did you impersonate me? Do you know who I am? Y-you used my face to do a crime! b.i.t.c.h! I'll have my brother arrest you!!!!"

The Faculty President acted scared and immediately pulled 'Wendy into their barricade. The other adults immediately piled up the tables and chairs high in order to build up a wall, in case the crazy Wendy rushed towards them with that same b.l.o.o.d.y knife.

The Faculty President then chastised 'Wendy'. "You child, don't agitate that crazy impostor until the police arrive!"

"Wendy, listen to us, call your brother now. Even though some of us already called the police and the security, it's still a good thing if your brother personally comes! We have to let that fake Wendy to...."

Chris' heart dropped to the bottom when he heard that they had already phoned the authorities. He didn't know as well what that real 'fake Wendy' was planning to do.

While he fidgeted at his spot and also panicked on what he should do, he saw that there were already other people rus.h.i.+ng over. Initially, he was glad that only he seemed to have the courage to go near Wendy, but now that others were coming, he could foresee that among them there would be guards or teachers who were burly and unlike the sissy male teachers presently in the room. This meant the real Wendy might be completely seized.

'd.a.m.n!'

He suddenly felt angry at himself for not being resourceful and smart enough. But since his conscience would not allow a weak, innocent and previously controlled girl to receive any more condemnation, he knew he needed to do something, or else someone innocent would be implicated.

How he hated the existence of those who unceremoniously and heartlessly control and kill people!

He inwardly cursed. Then after strengthening his resolve, he ran to Wendy, and pulled her up from where she's sitting!

"Run!"

Chris was now grabbing tightly on her right hand as he led her out of the room. He did his best and his fastest to drag her out of the room. Only one thing was on his mind. To not let her be caught by the police. He would not have done anything if she was really the one who had the intent to kill, or if she was crazy. But because he knew the truth, his conscience acted up, and because of a moment of impulse, he was now going against the world and probably in everyone's eyes, he was now helping a criminal.

He couldn't help but rain curses in his mind, 'Dammit! I hate this! I hate this! I don't want to get involved! Dammit!"

While they were running, not few students and staffs they've met along the way screamed at the sight of blood on the disheveled haired girl.

"I..."

Chris did not let say what she wanted and put more strength on the hand pulling her. "Shut up! Don't mind anyone! Just run!"

He then shouted at the system, 'If you can do something about the monitorings and CCTVs near or at the place, I'll forgive you for not informing me about that impostor!'

Chris' received an immediate response, its voice angry and wronged.

He and Wendy didn't stop running. Fortunately, no one dared to get near her, probably due to being scared by the amount of blood on her uniform. It seems no one recognized her yet because her hair was really a mess and was half-covering her face. As for him, he could only bow and not let people see his face. He was worried about the monitoring cameras all over the place so he said that to it, hoping it could do something since it was a supernatural or super high-tech existence. He actually didn't know where he got this confidence, but he was hoping it could live up to his expectation.

This was why he continued,

'Don't make me lower my impression of you anymore! I don't know about that impostor! Is this all premeditated? An act of revenge against Wendy? What about that host? And maybe that another girl, I'm not even sure if she's someone who did plastic surgery or someone transformed by sorcery. What I know is, you set me up in this s.h.i.+t! You're making me face-off that witch Clarissa! So take some responsibility and bail me out of this pit!!! Useless devil!'
