Mao Syà was having a bad day. The pipe in her bathroom had burst this morning and her landlord was giving her a hard time about fixing it. Due to this she ended up being late for work, this was her first time being late.

However today was an important day. The Future heir to City bank was here today and saw her come in over 40 minutes late and scolded her manager. Her manager in turn scolded her.

Mao Syà had was on the verge of tears, her manager made her feel like a worthless and incompetent employee. He even scolded her in front of her enemies, Yang An and his girlfriend Bao Ai. After the manager had left both of them had laughed in her face, saying she should just quit.

Mao Syà initially worked at an investment company with Yang An and Bao Ai.

They would always steal her clients, spread hurtful rumors about her and force her to run errands for them. Once when Mao Syà was about to close an investment deal worth several millions, Bao Ai had "accidentally" spilled hot coffee down her blouse.

By the time she had gotten back from the bathroom, Bao Ai and Yang An had secured the contract received a bonus and both of them had been promoted.

When she finally resigned form the company to work for City bank, she thought she was free of the two. But on her first day at City Bank she saw Yang An and Bao Ai. They had followed her here.

Mao Syà: "Today will be a good day."

She forced down her tears and sadness. I can look for a new job when I get home. I'll cry whilst eating a gallon of ice cream and cake.

She plastered on a professional smile and sat at her desk.

In the car on the way to city bank.

Madame Qin : "Lin Dai, park a little distance away from the bank."

Lin Dai: "Yes madame"

All three of them stepped out the car. A bodyguard stepped out of the front pa.s.senger side.

Madame Qin: "You have to be as inconspicuous as possible, make sure you stay back far enough so people don't think you're with us."

Madam Qin sighed: "Weren't there any bodyguards in a smaller size?"

Bodyguard: "..."

Li Xiuying: "Let's go."

The trio strolled towards the bank.

Li Xiuying looked around the foyer of City Bank.

Yang An whispered to Bao Ai: "Those three people look so poor. This is City bank not Village bank."

Bao Ai: "They look like they just came from the village or something, this is probably the first time they've even seen a bank. They probably climbed down a mountain and deal in chickens and goats. "

Mao Syà got up from her seat and was about to greet the clients that just entered.

When Bao Ai saw Mao Syà stand, she quickly rushed to the country b.u.mpkins.

Bao Ai: "h.e.l.lo, Welcome to City Bank. How may I a.s.sist you today?"

She looked at the young girl in front of her dressed in unbranded clothes with injuries to her hands.

Why are you here to waste my time?!

LI Xiuying: "I would like to see your manager."

Bao Ai: "Our manager is currently busy, is there anything I can help you with?"

Just scram and stop loitering here.

Li Xiuying: "When will your manager be free?"

Bao Ai was getting more annoyed.

Why was this annoying little girl not leaving?

Bao Ai: "I'm sorry miss but the manager is quite busy and I'm afraid won't be available for the rest of the day."

Li Xiuying: "I'll wait in the seating area."

Bao Ai: "The seating area is only for our clients to use."

Do you think anyone can just stroll in and sit wherever they like?

Mao Syà couldn't stand the way Bao Ai treated these people. She walked over.

Mao Syà: "Bao Ai, I'll take care of these clients. There are three empty seats at my desk, they can sit there."

Li Xiuying: "I'm a client. I wish to speak with your manager."

Mao Syà: "Of course Miss, anyone who walks through the doors is a potential client. Please follow me to my desk, maybe we can discuss what's brought you in today whilst you wait for the manager? I may be able to help."

Bao Ai: "Mao Syà can't you see me standing here? I was taking care of these clients first! So go back and sit down in your little corner." She made a shooing motion with her hand.

Mao Syà ignored Bao Ai: "Young Miss, Madame, Little one please follow me over."

Mao Syà and the other advisers were already used to Bao Ai and Yang An antics. They had treated others the same way in the past and the manager always let them get away with it.

Bao Ai and Yang An were the only people in the bank like this. They judged people according to their outward appearance. In their small minds the more designers labels someone wore the more they were worth.

Bao Ai: "Mao Syà!"

Madame Qin had put Little 4th down when they entered the bank. They were both standing behind Li Xiuying.

Little 4th stepped forward and wanted to follow Mao Syà: "Auntie, we want to see the manager. We'll go and sit down with Miss Mao."

Bao Ai blocked little 4th from walking further. Little 4th b.u.mped into Bao Ai and his footing became unsteady and he fell back onto his bottom.

Madame Qin was shocked she picked up Little 4th from the floor.

Madame Qin shouted: "How dare YOU!!!"

Just when she was about to continue. Li Xiuying put an arm out in front of madame Qin stopping her from moving forward. Madame Qin could feel pure rage radiating off of Li Xiuying.

The bodyguard who was pretending to be glancing through leaflets was about to step in when he felt a murderous aura around Li Xiuying. He halted his steps just behind Madame Qin.

Although Li Xiuying's facial expression didn't change her eyes were burning with cold fury.

Bao Ai didn't notice the air surrounding Li Xiuying had turned dangerous.

Bao Ai: "Listen here let this big sister spell it out to you in simple words you can understand. The manager is not going to see some trash looking teenager with pocket change when he is used to working with clients who have millions in their bank accounts. Leave if you don't have any other business and take this decrepit old woman and brat with you and return to your village."

Yang An stood behind Bao Ai: "My colleague has been more than patient with the likes of you people. Please leave now or we'll be forced to call security to escort you out!"

Everyone in the bank was watching the scene unfold.

Li Xiuying could feel the rage boiling inside of her. It wasn't just that this woman had hurt Little 4th. It was what this woman stood for.

This Bao Ai is a typical example of the strong using their power to oppress the weak. She's an example of people taking out their rage on the innocent because they didn't have the power to confront those stronger than them. She stood for the people who didn't care about who they hurt or who they had to step on to get where they wanted to be.

All the names Li Xiuying was called since childhood like trash, unwanted garbage, country b.u.mpkin, worthless orphan were circling in her mind. She recalled all the suffering she had to endure in her past life.

Well in this life she was the strong. She would answer all the people who came to her to seek an early death.

Li Xiuying had a small smile on her face: "Oh Bai Ai is it. You've been speaking quite a bit, how about letting me have a chance?"
