Leng Yue Yan was satisfied being able to convince her Master. She woke up from cultivating and felt herself nearing the barrier to the Sky Realm.

She was determined to break through in the Frozen h.e.l.l. After all, regardless of anything, she has to represent her Sect in the Dragon Prodigy Champions.h.i.+p.

A light knock on the door interrupted her train of thoughts.

Puzzled, she walked up to the door gracefully and opened it, only to find an otherworldly handsome young man standing with a slight smile.

Taken back by his sudden arrival, she coldly looked at him. She knew that he became a core disciple, but to her it didn't matter. She is bent on her own pursuit. Since he is Meng Xin's friend, she will take care of him, only if he is in real trouble. However, with her cold indifference, she couldn't take the initiative to talk, much less visit him.

Realising that her face was still covered by a veil, Sheng Tian sighed in defeat. It was a pity to not see her beautiful face which should be the manifestation of a cold moon.

Embarra.s.sed at the silence, Sheng Tian coughed twice and said shamelessly "Hey, Ice G.o.ddess. Nice to see you. Are we going outside for a walk instead of talking inside?"

Leng Yue Yan didn't nod or shake. Her cold gaze made him feel a chill.

He thought that he understood her a bit, only now did he realize that the Ice G.o.ddess is really cold beyond comprehension.

Sighing lightly to himself, he said nonchalantly "Miss Frost, I think you must be partic.i.p.ating in Frozen h.e.l.l, no?"

She lightly nodded. Sheng Tian was relieved seeing that this girl is at least listening. It seems that she became colder and more indifferent.

With an honest face, he said "I would like to propose a deal then. Since we both are not in the Sky Realm yet, we can pair up and share the treasures. With both of our strengths combined, we can ensure safety and getting treasures which are impossible to achieve individually."

Leng Yue Yan's eyes had a pondering expression. After a while, a sound like a celestial song came out of her cold cherry lips "Why me?"

Enjoying the sweet cold voice, Sheng Tian said in a rather obvious tone "Isn't it obvious? I don't know anyone here besides the Ice G.o.ddess."

Leng Yue Yan's cold eyes looked into his sky blue eyes as they searched for the truth. However, while she did feel that he was not lying, she had a feeling that it was not the complete truth.

However, he didn't seem like an evil person. So, she finally nodded. After a moment of silence, she asked: "Why did you disguise yourself in the Capital?"

Sheng Tian humbly smiled and sighed in exasperation "Even the sisters of the sect are looking at me with hungry eyes. If I didn't have a disguise back then, don't you think I would be eaten alive?"

"Why would they eat you?" Leng Yue Yan's voice was filled with genuine curiosity.

Dumfounded, Sheng Tian looked at the Young woman in front of him, who had genuine curious in her eyes.

'Is she a noob to the matters of love and s.e.x?' he wondered of a crazy possibility.

Looking at her curious eyes which still held a spark of interest, he coughed lightly and waved his hand "Well, that was just a slip of tongue, haha."

She nodded and turned around to leave.

Sheng Tian frowned. He asked in a voice filled with light dissatisfaction "You are going to cultivate, aren't you?"

Leng Yue Yan's footsteps halted. Displeased with his tone, she coldly said Without turning back "It doesn't matter to you, right?"

He said "You are Meng Xin's best friend. So, I have to see that you aren't doing something that would make her sad. There aren't many things that can upset that girl, you are one of the few."

Leng Yue Yan was silent for a second before she spoke coolly " My path is like you said that day, fighting against fate. I would rather take all the risks I can than sit back, regardless of the consequences."

Sheng Tian clearly sensed that she was different from the time he met her at the Qin Ancestral Grounds.

She was more cold, more indifferent, more focused. He was not exactly sure of the cause. However, he was sure that she has changed, and is continuing to change.

"Since you don't want to invite me in, then let's seal the deal here...." as he was about to finish, he turned around to see a Young Man with an average face arriving from a distance.

He looked to be around 18 years old and was half way into the Sky Realm. From his robes, it was clear that he was a core disciple.

The Young Man arrived in front of them in seconds and halted a few meters away.

His eyes narrowed in surprise at Sheng Tian's cultivation and looks. He knew the famous "Sheng Tian" a.k.a "Celestial", "Immortal". It was rumoured that the master of Sheng Tian is the Grand Elder who has long gone into seclusion.

Regaining his composure, he looked at the veiled Ice G.o.ddess "Junior Sister Leng, Qi Yue and the rest of us core disciples are having a gathering before we enter the Frozen h.e.l.l. Only you are not present. Are you not giving us face? Come to the gathering."

Before Leng Yue Yan could even reply, a dissatisfied voice rang out "Hey b.u.t.tface, I'm a core disciple. By not inviting me, are you not giving me any face? Do you want to die so much? " Sheng Tian pointed his finger at the young man, Xu Tian and said with disdain mixed with anger.

Xu Tian instantly wanted to break Sheng Tian's legs but held himself back after thinking of last night.

He said with a polite smile "Yes, yes. It was rude of me, junior brother. Please come."

"It seems like you are not blind after all. Fine, being the kind person I am, I can't slap a begging face. I shall attend your gathering and mind you, I ain't your junior." Sheng Tian sneered.

Leng Yue Yan was inwardly surprised at Sheng Tian's arrogance but even more so at Xu Tian's tolerance. She knew that he was definitely not a forgiving person.
