Crashing Into You Chapter 162: Pork Adobo

Song Dei Si took out the lunch boxes at the pa.s.senger seat and was excited when she entered Ming's Garden. She was a frequent visitor in this restaurant because most of the lunch meetings with the Yan Enterprise investors were done here. The reception gave her a big smile and guided her to the room where Yan Mor Tee and the potential investors at. They have arrived 15 minutes earlier than her at the venue.

"Wait!" She said and stopped for a moment when they were about to enter the private room.

"Yes, Young Madam?"

She got startled again by how the receptionist addressed her. She felt embarrased inside that from a simple Ms. Song she was now being called Young Madam. She was still trying immerse herself to her new t.i.tle.

"Can I trouble you to hold these lunch boxes for awhile. I will just go to the powder room for a moment."

"Sure."

She was looking at her reflection in the mirror when she received a call from Yan Mor Tee.

"Where you at?"

"I'm already here at Ming's Garden."

"You're here but why are you not entering our room yet? I have already instructed tge receptionist that you'll come over so she can guide you to our room when you arrived."

"Give me a minute, I'm just here at the powder room."

"Okay, see you!"

"See you!"

After Song Dei Si took a last glance at her total appearance in the mirror she took a big sigh. It was really awkward that she wasn't dress for the occasion. She was just wearing a casual while tee and faded jeans and a sneakers. But if her husband wasn't bother at all why would she?

She went back to where the private room and got the lunchboxes from the receptionist who was still standing infront of the room. She entered the room with a big smile on her face. Yan Mor Tee stood up when he saw her and gave her a hand and took the lunch boxes that she was carrying.

He guided her to sit next to him. She was sitting in between her husband and the new PA.

Once she settled, she was introduced to all the people in the room.

"I saw your wife several times in your social media account and but never thought that she could be 10x more beautiful in person" one of the male investors commented. He was about in his mid 30s

"And she looks so young in person. How old are you if its not impolite to ask." Another male investors commented and directly asked her the question. He looked younger than the first one

She felt awkward especially when Yan Mor Tee pulled her subtly showing the potential investors that she was already his.

"I was about the same age with my husband."

"Ohh, you looks like you just are still studying at the university, never thought we're just about the same age." The male investors said with admiration on his face as he looked at Song Dei Si.

Yan Mor Tee coughed. "What's in your lunch boxes sweetheart?"

Song Dei Si's face blushed when she look at Yan Mor Tee plate and it was still empty. Does it mean that Yan Mor Tee didn't start his lunch yet and waited for her?

"Your husband excused himself earlier that he will wait for his wife and the goodies that you prepare for him and just had a gla.s.s of wine while conversing with us during the course of our meal" another potential investor said with a warm smile on his face. He was about on his mid 50s. "If I were him, I guess I would do the same thing. It's not everyday that you've married a wife who was willing to cook for you. Me and your husband were lucky to have our wives prepare for our lunch boxes. By the way your husband looked at the lunch boxes, I have the same expression as him everytime I opened the lunch boxes my wife prepares for me. I was always excited!"

She looked at Yan Mor Tee and the potential investor was right. He looked like a giddy teenager while he opens the lunch boxes.

"Wow, is this the dish that we ate in the Philippines before?"

One of the potential investors looked at the lunch box and exclaimed. "It is pork adobo! I also had that when I visited the Phillipines two months ago and I loved it too!"

Eventhough Yan Mor Tee wouldn't want to share the lunch boxes that his wife prepared for him to them, he can't help but offered the adobo for sharing especially when he saw the excitement from the face of one of the potential investors.

"Wow! It really tastes good!"

"I hope to get a wife with the same cooking skills like your wife Young Master Yan."

"This tastes heaven!"

"How lucky you can be by having such a beautiful wife and a great chef at the same time!"

Song Dei Si's face was turned into crimson with all those praises.

"My wife was planning to open a restaurant in the near future. We would take into consideration to include this in our menu" Yan Mor Tee can't help but felt proud.

"We can also add this adobo to the menu of the restaurant in the hotel that we will be rising!" One of the potential investors said.

"I second the motion!" Another potential investor chimed in

"I'll take it as a done deal. Let's toast to our future partners.h.i.+p!" He said afterwards.

Yan Mor Tee has never forgotten to look at his wife first before making a toast. He was never been prouder of his wife and her version of pork adobo!

She smiled sweetly at her husband and raised her own gla.s.s to make a toast too!
