The sounds of the footsteps was firm and steady, the glistening leather shoes making a distinct sound as it made contact with the ground. It wasn’t piercing, but sounded rather dangerous on such a night.

Someone walked inside. It was a man fully dressed in black with a tall build. His gaze landed on the two people on the bed, as sharp as an eagle.

Click. Meng Che switched on the lights and brightness flooded the room.

With the room lit up, they could finally identify who the black figure in front of them was.

Butler Ye pulled a chair out and Lu Jinwen sat down, completely composed. He looked at Meng Che and the corners of his lips were raised. “Young Master, you’ve slept with my woman. Of course I’m here to catch you in the act of adultery.”

Slept with his woman?

Meng Che then recalled that Lu Jinwen had brought a counterfeit along with him, a woman who bore a resemblance to Lin Xuanji. But a counterfeit would always remain a counterfeit. One look and he could tell that she wasn’t Lin Xuanji. He had no interest in an imitation at all.

Meng Che turned his head around to look at Lin Siyu. “You’re not Tang…”

Lu Jinwen signaled Butler Ye with a gaze and a few bodyguards acted on their orders, they went forward to capture Meng Che and Lin Siyu.

The pair were completely naked. Lin Siyu screamed once she noticed that they were heading for her and she quickly tugged on the blankets to cover her body and knelt on the ground. “Mr Lu, please save me. The bunch of keys were encrypted with a pa.s.sword, and Lu Jinwen had to find out the pa.s.sword to the keys in order to unlock the doors to the altar.

Meng Che was stunned. “Mr Lu, what do you want? You’re thinking of entering the altar to take a look at our Holy Lady?”

Lu Jinwen paused for a second and lowered his eyes to look at Lin Siyu. “Put your clothes on and head back yourself. Come back when Young Master Meng needs you again.”

Lin Siyu was stupefied, she thought that she had heard wrong. Did Lu Jinwen just ask her to pleasure another man?

“Mr Lu, I’m your woman, how can you get me to do such things?”
