Chapter 16: Fari Learning More About Herself.

Okay, going to start and do my staple. The cheat sheet on the top, it will eventually grow to include new characters and appearances.

Fari von D'azell . Previously Nanjou Yukiho, nicknamed Yuki by Kami. 

Is currently 10 years of age. Ruby red long wavy hair and striking eyes not fitting her age.

Kami-sama, or also known as Kamille. Is a girl that looks 12 but is a G.o.d. Has silver hair and red eyes.

Also Fari always uses, 私 aka female p.r.o.noun watas.h.i.+.

Father is Gilbert Von D'azell. Master warrior.

As we were talking about the sealing, I decided to ask more about the power she gave me.

"By the way, Kami-sama. How powerful is the strength you actually gave me?"

"Ah, You want to know that? I don't know if it's good for your mental health if you know."

"I don't want to cause an accident like what happened to my Papa again."

"Hmmm. . .That won't happen again with the seal and the more experience you gain. But if Yuki wants to know, I'll tell you."

Then she told me something outrageous.

"Although it's only the first seal, that contains all that was known in the history of the world. Demon kings, heroes, and such. Maybe you could become a great mighty wizard known for all time in the history books Yuki."

". . .However that's only the first seal?"

"Well, it's not like you are going to get super strong out of nowhere. Because you still need experience and skill to get stronger. So you won't be suddenly releasing the strength of a wise man, so no accident like what happened with you Papa should happen."

"Well that's fine."

I don't need to be worrying then.

"However if you were to get to the second seal, and break that. . ."

Kami-sama seemed really troubled.

"Just say it."

". . .You won't get mad."

"I'm getting angry."

"Ehh. . ."

"Well based on how you are reacting, it seems like you gave me some terrible power. However because you aren't telling me I am getting mad."

I gave a sinister smile at her and raised my fist.

Finally she spoke honestly.

"Ehm, well. If you completely remove all the seals. Yuki would become a G.o.d."

"Hah?"

As I said that I already bonked Kami-sama's head.

"O-Ow, that hurts Yuki."

"Well you did explain it. However, everytime you explain something I don't like I'll pinch your side."

"That just makes me not want to explain it though?"

"If you don't explain it I'll bonk you again."

"W-Wait what!?. .Iya!"

I immediately pinched her side. Then she gave me a detailed explanation.

"Even though I said you would become a G.o.d, I don't mean a G.o.d like me. You would be a G.o.d in this world."

"What does that mean? Also why did you want to keep this a secret?"

"I'm sorry~. . . I didn't think was really related or mattered."

". . .So how powerful would I be as a G.o.d in this world?"

"Umm, well you would be able to rewrite existence itself, or extinguish other's existence, create a small world by yourself, etc. . ."

That seems way to extreme. So I bonked her.

This is terrible. Really terrible.

How can I have a peaceful life with such an outrageous power?

Chapter 17: Kami-sama's Gift

. . .I ignored Kami-sama and continued walking.

So there are 2 seals, and the speed of me reaching them will increase as I learn more.

By the way, of course Kami-sama is still following me.

"Hey, Yuki- I'm sorry~"

Kami-sama has been apologizing a lot ever since she noticed I was angry.

"Please Yuki, Please forgive me. . ."

"Of course I forgive you. But I can't help but be mad right now."

"I see. . ."

I could hear her grief.

"If you thought it was a terrible idea from the start, then you shouldn't have given me these outrageous powers!"

"No, I didn't think it was bad. . .I just thought when you reincarnate, it would be interesting."

"It's only interesting for you!"

As I got angry I stopped and turned towards her.

"Ah, come here ♪"

". . .. Wh-y are you so happy!?"

She was completely taken aback, it seems like my absurd anger reached a breaking point.

"Well, let me give you something good to apologize Yuki."

". . .Something good?"

That completely got rid of my anger, and turned it into curiosity.

I watched her suspiciously.

"What is it?"

"It is a knife for protection."

She then took out a knife from nowhere.

With a pure white sheath and gold decorations embedded on it. The handle of the blade that was sheathed was also a pure white. It seemed like an extremely high quality blade. It would probably cost a fortune if you sold it.

However it's not really that breathtaking for a 10-year old girl. I've seen plenty of fancy things at the mansion.

". . .Huh."

"W-Wait, don't sigh! This knife is a super knife. It's a magical knife made by me. Isn't that cool?"

"Is it another thing that Kami-sama made ridiculously overpowered."

"It's different! I've reflected on my actions, this is simply a gift. . . Geeze do you not have any faith in me?"

My faith in G.o.d has fallen to an all time low ever since I met her.

"Well, let's just show off the knife for now."

Regardless of my own input, Kami-sama then unsheathed the knife.

It didn't seem to be made out of metal. It had a dark purple mineral like blade, with a number of thin strange white lines in waves into it. It gave off a mysterious impression.

"This knife blade is made by a special dragon's fang, and the white lines weaved into the blade is strains of my hair-"

"Huh? That's gross."

"No. C-can you let me finish my story?. . .Is it gross because of the hair? You know that makes it extra strong right? Having G.o.d hair is pretty valuable, you know?"

"Far from precious, the fact that Kami-sama is trying to give me her body hair has a gift is kinda gross."

". . .Can I cry now?"

Kami-sama held back her tears and continued to explain.

"anyways, this knife is specifically made for Yuki. It won't break, regardless of how much unsealed power of Yuki's is poured into it. . . Also, well it is also a sharp blade? So that isn't really super strong right?"

". . .Well I'll forgive you just for that last part. At Least that's in the realm of common sense."

We have plenty of sharp blades back at the mansion. Perhaps some that are more valuable than this blade.

"W-well this blade also has a special function. It can also create a magical sword depending on how much magical power you pour into it. Hence why it never breaking is cool."

"Magical sword?"

"Yeah, like the one Yuki made when you were fighting your father."

I see

So I can just make it a magical sword if I pour magic into it.

"Well, try it out Yuki. You can create any magical form you want in the blade. For example, perhaps create a giant fire blade. Or maybe a water rapier."

"I see. . ."

To be honest, that is pretty awesome.

I think my curiosity from when I was a boy in my previous life is still strong.

That's such a cool weapon.

I immediately poured magic into the knife.

I never have trained in magic, so I'm worried if it will even work, but a fairly shallow image could start to be seen around the knife. It reacted quickly.

For the time being, I am thinking about making a sword of electricity.

An electric light engulfed the blade. The length of the blade extended to about the size of myself.

As a test, I swung down the blade on a rock that was nearby.

*BANG 

The rock was easily broken.

Moreover, the bits and pieces that went flying were scorched and sliced perfectly.

". . .I thought you said it's sharpness was normal?"

I glared at Kami-sama.

Honestly, the strength of this blade is ridiculously.

It broke this rock without me putting that much power into it.

"N-No, well the sharpness depends on the magic and imagination of Yuki!"

"Fuu. So if I imagine it, I could actually make it into a blunt weapon?"

"Yes, you can!"

"Well."

I thought about the electric blade, and tried to remove the sharpness of it and test just the power in it. Then held it towards Kami-sama.

"Uhehehe!"

Kami-sama then released a weird voice as electricity shot from the sword.

After testing it for ten seconds, I removed the power from the blade.

"Uguu. . .Yuki. Are you a devil?"

"What are you saying. You're a G.o.d right? Even if I was to cut you, I don't think you could even die. Besides, you are fine."

"It's fine as long as I can't die?"

"So you want me to stop right? But if you can't die, then does that mean you can feel pain? Hmm. . ."

". . .I don't like where this is going."

I guess in a way, this handy magic sword can be used as a punishment rod for Kami-sama.

So from now on, I actually have a way of scolding her.

Hiya, TN here. More magic lore chapter, I'm sure these chapters are just preparing for the future, but I kinda wished this stuff was sprinkled down to us. That's just me though. Hopefully once this is done, the story will finally begin. Also I know 3 chapters won the poll, but matters on context. So these chapters were pretty long combined, so I'll leave it at that.

Next chapter is . . .hmm I'm not sure, maybe 4-5 days, maybe sooner. I kinda want to finish a “when I was” chapter, because I got the itch to do it, and to kinda take a break from translating magic lore and exposition. The next “When I was” chapter should be in 2 days or less.
