Lu Tianzi picked up the pace, slas.h.i.+ng his way out of the encirclement, killing anyone who dared to stand in his way.

The members of the defence team lowered their heads in silence, well aware of that they were guilty of disobeying orders. But the old man did not continue berating them either.

The old man, too, understood that it was impossible for the defence team to stop Lu Tianzi. Perhaps even if they put their lives on the line, all that they could achieve was to delay him for a bit of time, and that was only a bit.
