Who Moved My Mountain Chapter 29 Part 3: Age is not small

"Hua Nian jie!" Yun Rong raised her head in time to see Lu Hua Nian standing by the office door, and called out in a pleasant surprise. Her expression as she looked at Lu Hua Nian was as if looking at a savior. 

The director was actually a very enthusiastic person and continuously explained her a problem for one hour. Although Yun Rong was grateful, but the human mathematics problems were too boring. She listened until her head was swollen but still only grasped a bit of it.  

Yun Rong gloomily twisted her fingers and thought: Really don't know how the director's brain developed.

Lu He Nian saw the dispirited young lady become high spirited upon seeing Lu Hua Nian and his heart was sour. 

Such a heartless little lady!

"How do you feel on the first day of work?" Lu Hua Nian asked smilingly while putting the stuff she brought onto the table. "I was pa.s.sing by the company and brought you some egg tarts1."

The egg tarts were still warm. When the bag was opened, a sweet fragrance floated out, the Gu family housekeeper's craftmans.h.i.+p was really good. She even took a course and had a certificate to make western-style pastries. Her egg tarts were better than the ones sold in stores, the pastry base she made was crunchy but soft.

When Yun Rong smelled the sweet fragrance, she immediately felt hungry. There were many people looking during lunch, so she felt embarra.s.sed to eat much.

"Thank you, Hua Nian jie." Yun Rong reached her hand out to grab it and smilingly said: "I'm very good, second brother takes very good care of me. In the afternoon he even went together with me to the dining hall for lunch." It would have been even better if only he didn't urge her to study.

"The two of you went to have lunch together ah." Lu Hua Nian raised her eyebrows while looking towards the sitting Lu He Nian who had no expression on his face. In her heart flashed something different. 

Lu He Nian sensed Lu Hua Nian looking at him and calmly turned his head around to speak: "It's her first day of work, I took her so she can be familiar with the surroundings."

"It's necessary for her to be familiar with the company." Then Lu Hua Nian changed the topic and said with a smile: "Why I didn't know that our director is also freelancing as a teacher?"

"Helping the employees to progress is my duty as the director." Lu He Nian paused, before continuing lightly and indifferently, "Mom has already made it clear, it's our duty to take care of Yun Rong more." 

Duty? How was it that Lu Hua Nian never discovered that her own younger brother could also be ridiculous. However, there seemed to be nothing wrong. For a moment, she actually didn't know how to reply.

Lu Hua Nian's gaze switched a few times between Yun Rong and her own younger brother and a strange feeling rose in her heart. But she didn't think much of it, anyway, she was just pa.s.sing by. There were still some matters to take care of at home so she didn't stay for long. 

"No longer want to study?" Lu He Nian saw his sister left and took a quick look at the young lady and the school books on the table, and couldn't help laughing. 

Yun Rong, who was eating the egg tarts in small bites, nodded and softly replied: "Second brother, take care of your matters, ok? It's okay, I'll study by myself!" Done speaking, she looked expectantly at him, hoping he would go work quickly. 

Lu He Nian looked at the time. There was still another hour before it was time to get off work. He stood up and spoke: "I have one more videoconference. If you don't want to study, then rest for a bit. Let's have dinner together when we get off work."

"En en." Hearing these words, Yun Rong immediately nodded. Then she stood up to send him out. 

On the young lady's face was written: "quickly go, I don't want to study". Upon seeing it, Lu He Nian felt it was funny and it made his mood better. He subconsciously reached out and rubbed her head. While walking out, he said: "Your foundation is not strong, so you need to practice more. After work, I'll accompany you to go buy a few exercise books."

He actually said that to tease the young lady. Unexpectedly, when Yun Rong heard this, she was stunned. With the egg tart still in her mouth, she miserably gazed at him and mumbled: "Second brother……." She knew that Lu He Nian did that for her own good, but this was really making it difficult for a mountain demon. 

At this moment, Yun Rong felt regretful ah, she shouldn't have listened to that mongrel. She wasn't prepared to stay among humans. The moment she acquired enough money to pay for Dan Qiu Mountain, she would return to the mountain. Then why would she need a degree ah!

The young lady's voice was soft and sweet. It also accidentally concealed a trace of a child acting spoiled. Lu He Nian paused for a second while in the middle of opening the door, a hard-to-detect itch flashed in his heart. He spoke with a dumb voice: "It's no use pleading!" 

Done speaking, he turned around and left right away as he didn't dare to look at the young lady's eyes.

Looking at Lu He Nian's rear view, Yun Rong turned her lips down and sighed. Running into an extremely responsible and diligent boss was also not a good thing ah.

6 pm was the time to get off work. When it was time, she turned the computer off, put everything in order and packed her stuff, preparing to get off work. As she was going through the company's entrance, she raised her head and gazed at the office on the fifth floor. Seeing the late evening sunset printed on the bright and clean gla.s.s, it was gorgeous, and nothing more beautiful could be imagined.   

Lin Xiao Man pursed her lips, turned her head and walked in the direction of her house. Her hands tightly held the bag hanging on her shoulders. There was nothing in her bag except for her keys, tissues and skincare. The other thing that remained was the palm-sized makeup mirror. Her fingers touched the edge of the makeup mirror. The solid touch made her suddenly feel at ease.  

The corner of her lips raised and she exposed a stiff smile. However, her sight was gloomy and determined. 

Lin Xiao Man wasn't a resident of Hais.h.i.+, she only resided here to attend university. Originally, after she graduated, she was going to return to her hometown to work. However, there was one time where Lu He Nian was invited to Hais.h.i.+ University to conduct a lecture and at first sight, she had decided to stay and enter the Lu Corporation. She wished to stand together beside such an outstanding man.
