Twelve maids walked in, each holding a tray of different steamed bun. Each made with different flavors some were meat, vegetables, seafood. Xia Lin inhaled to take in the food that she was about to savor. The maids came and placed the food in front of Xia Lin, then they all bowed and headed back.

Su Mian didn't understand what was going on. How can she eat? Is she starving? Why would she need food? Unlike Su Mian, Long Fei understood what she was doing, she might look like she was just eating but in reality, she was torturing the officials.

If a G.o.d needed food, that meant that they had lost their power or that they had recently overused it; therefore they needed to eat food cooked with spiritual energy.

After another hour had pa.s.sed Xia Lin had finished her food but the officials were still kowtowing while begging her to punish them. They all were furious as she was clearly disregarding them, they had been kowtowing for two hours now. After another 30 min had pa.s.sed, she finally decided to speak.

"Guard! Punish them according to Second rank Official Shun Lian." She casually said as if agreeing to confer them new t.i.tles.

Upon hearing her answer, all the official almost started crying. They have been condemned just like that by their own. The worst part is they were the one who asked for punishment and even selected the punishments.

Su Mian was dumbstruck by his new grand mistress, she was too overbearing. He subconsciously made a note to himself to avoid being on her wrong side.

Hearing the Phoenix order, several guards came forward to arrest the officials.
