Anyhow, Tristan already perceived that s.h.i.+n would be in a foul mood after what happened to Sheri earlier and knowing s.h.i.+n's naturally insensitive and arrogant personality, this kind of response should be expected.

"how dare you say I'm old!" madam Keir clenched her teeth, if not for the guests, she have long lashed out on s.h.i.+n.

"grandma relax...s.h.i.+n's just joking." Tristan grinned and slightly nudge s.h.i.+n to keep quiet. "anyway, i already instructed one of your maid to put our gift to your bedroom."

"hmph! like i will accept a gift from this ingrate!" madam Keir taunted.

"grandma you don't want a red beryl set of jewelry?" Tristan said in a low voice trying to entice the old woman.

Madam Keir's eyes immediately sparkled when Tristan mentioned the word red beryl, it's her most desired jewelry collection so of course she wants it! alas, red beryl is so rare that even if she can afford such exorbitant price it's still not easy to simply obtain one and to think this b.a.s.t.a.r.d grandson is gifting her one, how suspicious!

"alright grandma im glad you like it," Tristan winked to madam Keir not waiting for her to retaliate. "now it seems like you have another important guest who just arrived..."

True enough, madam Keir notice some of the guest gasped in awe as they turned towards the garden entrance.

Tristan took a deep breath, even he felt infuriated at the thought of that moron. "they run a facial recognition but nothing came up, there was no record of him using a members.h.i.+p card and Erina Saito is nowhere to be found, a friend she's currently living with said she's not home yet and she don't recall any guy close to Erina with our description."

The corners of s.h.i.+n's mouth curve as he stared at the gla.s.s of wine ominously, Tristan can only hope no one would provoke s.h.i.+n today or the beast lurking within that deathly smile might break loose.

"hahaha~ you brat! just how many women knocked on your door and introduce you as a father of their child?" Allister gaily replied and settled on their table.

Allister snickered then glance at his son. "tell father who wronged you and i'll take care of it." he asked noticing s.h.i.+n's indifference.

s.h.i.+n just glared at his father and retained his silence.

Still, s.h.i.+n looked completely unperturbed, not bothering to glance at Calin's way even out of curiosity.

Tristan raised an eyebrow and looked up straight, 'so she purposely arrived late...' he smirked.

On the other hand, Calin indeed arrived late to capture everyones attention especially s.h.i.+n.

Calin w.a.n.g felt more elated and beamed her G.o.ddess smile after hearing all the compliments. So far, everythings going according to her plan.

Just outside earlier, Calin slightly opened one of the limousine window so the reporters will know it was her. As a kind and thoughtful celebrity, she briefly entertained some questions from them and let them take pictures for the world to see how perfect she is.

Calin is a bit startled with elder madam Keir's harsh words but hastily manage to suppressed her annoyance. "I'm really sorry elder madam, we encountered a minor accident on our way here. It won't happen again...", she softly responded, looking apologetic.

Madam Keir fake a smile, she isn't dumb not to realize Calin's facade, if not for this beneficial engagement she won't be this humble but she will surely teach her how to be filial once she become a part of the family.
