Chapter 16: Strong Kiss
Though his complexion was much better than the night before, it still didn't look right. He was sick but he had to work.
People only saw the dazzling surface. He possessed more than an average person could ever own. But he also help enormous responsibilities that an ordinary man didn't have to bear. At the same time, his pressure was multiplied by the numerous expectations and criticisms placed on him.
Most people wouldn't understand that this powerful aura was bred from darkness, not light.
Gu Yubai saw her standing by the door with a bowl in her hand. A flash of light pa.s.sed through his eyes before it was replaced by the distant darkness. She walked over with the bowl, keeping a safe distance from the bed. She reached out to hand him the bowl.
The bowl of porridge gave off a light scent that made his hunger rise, but…
He knit his brows, observing her att.i.tude. Was she afraid of him? The realization distressed him. His smile was cold and dimples appeared on his cheeks. He reached out and slapped the bowl away. It fell to the ground, splas.h.i.+ng the porridge all over the floor.
Lin Meng jumped back a few steps, but he pulled her by her arms. She fell on the bed, and he pressed her under his body.
“Did you figure it out?” His voice was cold.
The files on the bed laid scattered on the ground. Lin Meng stared at him in horror. She opened her mouth, but couldn't say anything. She struggled while Gu Yubai grabbed her hands and hooked them above her head.
He violently clasped her, his eyes turned ink black as if engulfed in darkness.
He could not see her struggle, nor could he see the panic in her eyes. He dipped his head and kissed her, not giving her a chance to dodge. There was no pity. As if he were venting his anger, he bit her lips.
Ignoring her struggles, the lingering kisses were deep, crazy, and fierce. The scent of her body filled him with desperate madness. Regardless of her resistance, he opened her clenched teeth and forced his tongue in.
He played with her tongue with overbearing intrusion and possession.
