After two days, Larmor Island.

The sun hadn't woken up yet but the sky had started turning bright with the few stars that were still twinkling and the moon was going down under the sea.

The villa was completely dark, but a shadow could be seen, sitting on the balcony with a plume of dense smoke from cigarettes as many b.u.t.ts of the cigarettes could be seen in an ashtray. Who knew how many packs he had gone through.

While the beauty seemed to be sleeping inside the room after being tired out from all of their extra curricular activities. It was very quiet with nothing more than the sounds of waves and light breathing. 

Slowly-slowly the sun had been rising up and the sky had now turned completely bright. The sun was now blinding on that lonely terrace.

Mo Lingtan didn't know how long he had been sitting here and how many cigarettes he had smoked, but judging by his dark circles under his eyes one could tell that he was sitting here for a long time to the point that his unique manly smell was overshadowed by the smell of smoke. It was enough to overwhelm the senses.

His mind seemed to be in deep thought and his eyes showed a hint of sadness in it.

It seemed that his absence had been noticed and caused a disturbance in the beauty's sleep, a hand came and s.n.a.t.c.hed the cigarette from his hand.

"Urgh...How much did you smoke? And when did you start smoking? Quit it now!" Lee Xuiye said irrationally while trying to take a fresh breath in, only to be a.s.saulted by the dense smell of cigarettes. 

Soon, his eyes softened and put his hand around her waist and let her sit on his lap "Why did you wake up so soon?"

Mo Lingtan's sound was raspy and his face seemed to be tired out, instantly Lee Xuiye's heart ached as she wanted to scold him for smoking so much but didn't have the heart to do so seeing him like this.

"How could I sleep when you weren't beside me?" Lee Xuiye asked softly while quietly staring at him.

She stared him quietly as if she wanted to say something but couldn't do so to the point that her stare was now seemed to be so deep that he couldn't help and asked "What?"

He tried to smile but it didn't match with his eyes.

"I am a useless wife! Something was bothering you that you didn't sleep the whole night and I didn't even realize it and slept soundly!" Lee Xuiye's eyes turned moist slightly.

"Nothing is bothering me!"

"Liar! Now you don't want to share with me anything like you used to!"

"It is not like that!"

"It is!" Lee Xuiye stubbornly said as she could see hidden emotions in his eyes which shocked Mo Lingtan as she never used to worry about him so much but she seemed to be changed now.

Should he be happy or sad about this?

"Okay. It is. Your husband won't be a billionaire anymore. He would be going to lose his job soon. So I am worried about how I will feed my wife?" Mo Lingtan melancholically said.

"That's it! You scared me for nothing! So what, you would lose your job! You don't have to worry about anything. Aren't I earning money? You can be a household husband as you already know while I will earn money! Moreover, we have this island, if we are still short on money, we will rent and earn some side income as well. Simple. Problem Solved!"

Mo Lingtan smiled as his heart warmed up hearing her brilliant idea that he immediately kissed her as a reward.

"Urgh! Go away! You stink!" Lee Xuiye pushed his face away as she felt suffocated nevertheless, he did steal a kiss from her.

"Sometimes, I really wish our problems could be solved so simply."

"Do you want me to join Shaan Industries? I can join it now!" Lee Xuiye now seriously said as she knew that life's problems couldn't be solved so simply as many people were relying on you. 

Whereas, Lee Xuiye and Mo Xingjuan did betray him. They handed off their responsibilities and let Mo Lingtan work hard for all of them alone.

Initially, Lee Xuiye joined s...o...b..z to take revenge from the w.a.n.g Family and didn't join Shaan Industries to unload off some of the work from his shoulders.

Mo Xingjuan also joined Tang Corporation to help her husband, Tang Hu, and left Mo Lingtan alone. For that, Mo Lingtan and Tang Hu really had a big fight but in the end, Mo Lingtan gave in because of his sister and suffered alone.

So, Mo Lingtan was really alone and was fighting against many people only to secure the empire which Mo Yinan had established. 

Now that Lee Xuiye was his wife, she really wanted to help him.

"No. First, complete your task on what you have promised your mother, then join me and help me to clean my mess!"

"But…"

"Shh...I am not weak! I am just upset!"

"Did anything happen?" Lee Xuiye asked worriedly.

Mo Lingtan smiled and hugged her "Don't worry. I will make everything alright!"

Lee Xuiye looked up and smiled "I know you will, but... you have to take care of yourself first otherwise how would you sort out everything? C'mon, let go and let's catch up on some sleep!"

Both of them stood up and went inside the room hand in hand while chatting up.

"Didn't you wake up just now? You still want to sleep!"

"Of course, don't you know how tired out I was because of your wild activities last night!"

"Really? Then who was the one asking for one more round?"

"Nonsense! Moreover, if I won't sleep what will I do?"

"Make breakfast for me!"

"Nah! That's your job! C'mon now close your eyes and sleep and don't forget to cook a spontaneous feast for me later!"

"Yes, Ma'am!"

Soon, Mo Lingtan dozed off as soon as his head hit on the bed and Lee Xuiye went to cook something average for him.

After staying one more day, both of them reluctantly left the island for Paris.
