After that, there was no news of Lee Xuiye throwing a tantrum, but Mo Lingtan had heard from the nurse that Lee Xuiye had become quieter now.

After a few days had pa.s.sed, Zhang Wei came to meet Mo Lingtan. He was worried that Mo Lingtan would leave Lee Xuiye but the latter didn't have that kind of intention. He just wanted her to be with him and nothing more.

Even Dr. Qian didn't force him as it was not his place to do that but he also informed Mo Lingtan that even though Lee Xuiye was behaving well and taking all medicines and eating well. Her mood was very damp which had become a hurdle in her recovery. 

Therefore, Dr. Qian suggested Mo Lingtan get Lee Xuiye discharged from the hospital and take her home in that way, she would recover faster.

Mo Lingtan also wanted to make things clear between them. He didn't like going home where no one was there to eat the food cooked by him. Moreover, when he heard about Lee Xuiye's report from the nurse that the former had suddenly quieted down and was well behaved, his heart ached. He knew what Lee Chang-You had said to her and those words triggered Lee Xuiye badly. Lee Xuiye hated w.a.n.g Hui to her core and now that her mother had told her she was just like her father, Mo Lingtan could understand what Lee Xuiye would be feeling right now. Because of this reason, Mo Lingtan decided to take a risk and go to meet Lee Xuiye again.

Mo Lingtan heard that Lee Xuiye was eating plain porridge every day without any complaint. However, he knew how much she hated plain porridge. Therefore, Mo Lingatn finished his work earlier and went home to cook for his wife, he made delicious food before proceeding towards the Hospital.

While driving to the hospital, Mo Lingtan's heartbeat was pounding hard in fear to have a quarrel with Lee Xuiye again. Many thoughts were roaming around in his mind.

Moreover, there was her pregnancy problem as well which made him more worried that he couldn't sleep well at night.

There were many times, Mo Lingtan had faced difficulties and he knew that he would solve them without blinking his eyes. However, things were different when the matters were around Lee Xuiye. The first thing that always came in his mind was, 'Xuiye shouldn't be suffering!' or 'Xuiye shouldn't be hurt!' or 'Xuiye shouldn't leave him.'

With the load on his mind, Mo Lingtan reached the hospital and he had already informed the staff of his arrival so the nurse had already taken her leave. While Lee Xuiye thought that the nurse went to get dinner for her. So she quietly waited for her inside her ward.

Mo Lingtan arrived outside Lee Xuiye's ward while he was still in a dilemma whether to go inside or not. He was worried that he might not be able to control himself this time if Lee Xuiye would say some hurtful things again to him. 

A thought also came in his mind to leave without meeting Lee Xuiye.

After a while, Mo Lingtan took a deep breath and turned a doork.n.o.b gently and entered into the ward.

Lee Xuiye was sitting on the wheelchair beside the window. She was looking outside the window and her back was facing towards the door. She was wearing a hospital gown in which she was looking very frail. Her face was also pale which was slightly hidden under her loose hair. Her blue eyes also seemed dull.

The orange sun rays were casting on her frail figure making her look so lonely. 

Mo Lingtan's heart burst with pain. He wanted to go over and take her in his embrace but he controlled his desire in fear that she would push him away in her anger.

Therefore, he directly went towards the side table and started opening the dinner box.

Perhaps, Lee Xuiye was in deep thought that she didn't seem to notice his arrival until she heard some movement behind. 

Lee Xuiye thought that the nurse must have brought dinner for her. She didn't want to make things more difficult for the nurse and for anyone. So she took a deep breath to suppress her pain and turned towards the table.

However, when she saw the person in front of her, she was startled for a moment and instantly in the next moment, her eyes turned red and moistened.
