Field Marshal Chan kept on releasing various kinds of sighs inside the control room as he monitored the status of the search .

"Still no signal, John?" he asked, and John shook his head . John was still monitoring the signal that might come from the tracker on Zach's bracelet . Although the tracker had malfunctioned, there was always the possibility for a brief transmission . Even if it was just a second, just like before .  

Jim and John, together with a few soldiers, had been taking turns to monitor the signal . They were on a rotating eight hours s.h.i.+ft which would provide 24/7 coverage . They couldn't afford to miss even a single second .

Thea was watching them silently from the other side of the room . She smiled as she touched her belly .  

'Baby… Mommy will not have a dream about the bad guys anymore… Mommy will give you a peaceful sleep from now on… Let's dream about Daddy instead, shall we?' she mused, and her heart fluttered at the thought of Jeru all of a sudden .
