The car ride from the Milan International Airport to the hotel booked for her by the Milan World Expo a.s.sociation should have taken just an hour. “I am dead tired. A 10-hour flight followed by a two-hour car ride. I am falling apart.” At the mention of this, Wen Xinya was filled with grievances and started complaining to Si Yiyan.

If there was someone who cared for you and doted on you, you would involuntarily rely on him, trust him and whine coquettishly to him. All these were not because you were unable to bear any hards.h.i.+ps, but because you had grown attached to him.
