In total around two thirds of the cla.s.s, pretty much the vast majority, managed to open their third chakra burner.
It would literally take weeks, or even months to normally open up an individual's chakra burners, without the aid of pills.
This comes to show how difficult it is to become a s.h.i.+n.o.bi, and that is only the start of it.
Minasuki Sensei dismisses the cla.s.s, but a third of the students remained behind. Those who didn't successfully pa.s.sed their a.s.signment, will be given pointers and advice to make up for lost times.
At the Ninja Academy, students usually studied for 6 hours a day; three hours in the morning, and three hours in the afternoon.
For first years students, the children are organised into groups of around thirty per cla.s.s, in which they will be asigned two teachers; one for theory and tactical lessons, and the other is practical and Taijutsu.
It was during break, that which Aotsuki, Furuta, and Hideo decided to explore the facility of the ninja academy to go sight seeing, but not on a empty stomach.
Aotsuki and the gang were happily walking down the corridor, minding their own business, when they encounter something in the corner that caught their eye.
They saw a group of kids, all huddled together, as if they were trying to conceal something. This immediately caught his interest, drawing him closer in.
"Hey, guys. I'm going to check something...", Aotsuki said so to the guys, not before being stopped in his tracks, as Hideo grabbed him by the shoulder.
Hideo was a little bit impatient, as he said, "Wait a minute! Where are you going, Aotsuki?"
Aotsuki replied, "Just checking what is up a head. Is there something you need to tell me."
Hideo sighs, and breathes gently. "I don't know if I've said this before, but thank you. If it weren't for you help, I wouldn't have been able to advance to the next level, meaning I would have lagged well behind others. I just got word from others that those that have failed the a.s.signment, will have to undergo an extended regiment. It would be taken out of their respective free time, a minimum of three extra hours."
Aotsuki and Furuta were clearly shocked, showing mildly confused look at each other, before exclaiming. "Isn't that too much. Nine hours of school is way beyond our recommended daily hours of education."
Hideo replied, "It's not an option if you want to continue to become a s.h.i.+n.o.bi, you could choose to not go to the remedial lessons. But almost seven out of ten these kids who don't go failed, and have to repeat another year."
"What so it is that serious?"
"I am afraid so..."
Aotsuki left the group feeling rather puzzled, he didn't have any difficulty pa.s.sing the a.s.signment, but others may find it rather extremely difficult.
Maybe it was because of his well developed mental maturity, that he was able to sway away his thoughts and distractions, and continue his tasks, without impending disruptions.
He swiped those thoughts away, changing the subject, as he drew closer towards the group of children.
Aotsuki was almost a couple of feets away, when what he saw enters his line of sight, it made him feel with disgust, almost to the point that he wants to punch the perpetrator, that causes all of this.
It was a young girl in the same year as he, but different cla.s.ses. She possess a noticeable dark reddish brown hair, cut short, and quite scruffy, lacking any elegance and beauty. It tells us that the girl doesn't probably takes of herself, much less care about what she look.
Her cherry pink eyes looks scared, near almost brokened, she was on the point of breaking into tears.
As numerous scratch marks and bruises appeared all over her body. There was a much larger kid, holding onto her hair, like she was some baggage.
They forced her to back into a wall, as they throw many insults at her, taunt her, etc.
"What is a cursed child like you, doing here, attending our ninja academy." The larger one said, pulling harder on the hair, as she let out a painful cry. "Ahhh..."
"Be careful, dude! Don't let her curse of bad luck get transfer onto you..." One of boys from the group said, warning the big dude.
Aotsuki was visibly angry, clenching his fist in frustration, almost to the point that veins start popping out, raising his voice in anger at tge onlookers, as he shouted. "What in the h.e.l.l! Do you think you guys are doing."
This raises some question, as people began to look to the direction of where the loud noise is coming from.
This would undoubtedly piqued their interest, as Hideo and Furuta hurriedly runs over. They were clearly confuse, but feel the urgency and how strongly emotional Aotsuki is giving off.
"What is wrong, bro?" Hideo asked clearly worried, as he felt something was not right.
This was the first time, that he has ever saw Aotsuki was this angry. Normally, he would keep it quiet to himself, and not raise his voice.
He is extremely shy, or to be more precise, he has a case of social anxiety, and lacks the confidence to face others. He is afraid to be criticise, to be made fun of, or rejected by others.
Aotsuki only said one phrase, "Looks ahead.", and the Hideo and Furuta immediately knew. It was bullying.
Furuta revealed an extremely ugly look, frownd, as his eyebrows creased, showcasing his extreme disgust.
Whilst, Hideo screamed, "What the h.e.l.l, dude! That is not cool! That is not how you treat a lady (girl)."
"Look, dude! This is not how it looks. You should know this girl's background story first."
Hideo replied, "There is no further need to ecplain. To me you look like a bunch of sc.u.ms bullying a helpless defenseless girl."
One of the guys from the group panic, as he tries to divert the blame. "Listen here... We're not a part of this. We didn't do anything..."
Hideo was quite not amused with the reply, as he starts throwing accusations at them. "You're all equally guilty. It does not matter if you take part in it or not. You just stand by and let it happen. That is to show what kind of person you guys are... pure sc.u.ms."
This sort of phrase angers some of the individuals in the group, as they roared back in anger, venting out their frustrations.
"You have no right to judge us. Calling us sc.u.m just because we didn't do anything, just standing by and watch. Do you even know who we are." One of the guys spoke up, but Hideo shot him back down.
"How dare you... Guys get them." This clearly angers them, quickly drawing the line between friends and foe.
"That's enough... Tsuki-Kaiten." Furuta said so quietly, as he activated his Kekkei Genkai, veins pops out, and he could see everything.
The flow of chakra, the movement of everyone within his line of sight, almost X-ray vision, but much cooler.
Furuta is well versed in the art of combat, much better than Aotsuki and Hideo, as he goes to the Gym daily, and does boxing in his free time.
Furuta quickly moves in front of Hideo, blocking their line of sight, forcing them to change target onto him. Furuta charges in, as his opponent throws a punch, aiming towards his face.
But Furuta continues his momentum, dodging towards the right. The fist misses by just a inch, landing thin air, as Furuta grabs his opponent's wrist, pulling him over.
Then landing a knee in his stomach, causing his opponent to flinch. Before Furuta let's go, and kicks him, sending his opponent flying back, obstructing his allies path.
