ELECTUS 12 Lan Zhe. The Once Great Underground Town!

After a long while of travelling through the thick forest, the gang reached their destination. Even though they had to convince BlackWind to stop chewing on random bushes along the way, they reached it.

The great underground town of Lan Zhe.

The entrance wasn't eye catching at all.

It just looked like an entrance to a normal cave.

Not a big one either.

The entrance was just ten foot wide and six foot tall.

Even BlackWind was able to touch the top of the cave with his head.

Although he didn't mean too and now he has a dirty head.

Literally dirty.

Eric says

"This is the great town of Lan Zhe? Seems quite ordinary to me."

Mogranius replies with

"This town is thousands of years old. Tens of Centuries have pa.s.sed ever since the Calidum Lutum race disappeared.

It's a miracle that this cave is actually still standing.

However. Let's proceed to go inside.

But everyone, watch where you step."

The gang followed Mogranius as he entered the cave.

That small entrance led to a wider opening.

But that was all it.

There was only one tunnel on the right side of the cave.

Or at least we can consider it a tunnel.

That tunnel way was useless because it was short and led to just a dead end.

It was collapsed.

Even if there is something in the other side of the tunnel,

It's impossible to go through it without shaking the whole cave down.

So it's best to leave it at peace.

Stefan says

"Well. It ain't a vacation home but it's better than staying outside on the unpredictable weather and arrows aren't flying over our heads so it's a win win.

This place looks quite hidden. No one will find us here."

Woldemir replies with

"Indeed. Let's get a fire going. And by that i mean a campfire. Not a fireball.

Making a few beds out of branches and leaves isn't a bad idea either.

Unless any of you prefer the cold dirty ground."

Mogranius replies with

"Both ideas sound great. Let's get this over with quick.

We have been walking nonstop ever since i found you two on the woods.

Or shall i say you three."

The gang get the Campfire going, make the beds out of leaves and branches and try to stop BlackWind from eating them in the meantime.

A bit challenging but doable.

After they are done with everything, they all pa.s.s out.

All of them are dead tired.

They thought they were alone, and the cave seemed quite empty as well when they arrived.

But Eric, Eric heard noises whispering to him a few times.

A voice heard but its source unknown.

A voice heard by Eric only.

It stopped shortly after.

You would think its the wind. But no.

That isn't nearly the source of the voice.

Eric ignored the voice as he was dead tired. And since the voice disappeared, he picked to fall asleep as it sounded reasonable.

Eric fell in deep sleep. Thinking the voice is gotten rid off.

But shortly after he fell asleep, the voice came back.

That voice was in his dreams all night.

The voice repeated a few words. Mysterious indeed. And undoubtedly spooky.

But the language was quite unknown by Eric.

The voice repeated

"Graza Ho Dofet"

"Graza Ho Dofet"

"Graza Ho Dofet"

Those three words were repeated on Eric's dream so much that he woke up with those words completely memorized.

He woke up and saw the sun rising.

The voice disappeared as if the sun was its enemy.

When he woke up he saw Mogranius sitting down and meditating.

Not surprising to see though. Considering the fact that he is a Wizard, this looks normal.

Eric approaches Woldemir and says

"There was this voice in my dream,

Repeating these same three words.

Over and over."

Mogranius while still remaining on his meditation pose replies with

"I expected for something like that to happen.

I mean you are the new Electus and we are here in an ancient place of which lava shooting ten foot tall man(and women) beasts used to live in.

It's not hard to put two and two together and expect this or to not be surprised.

What were those three words?"

Eric replies with

"Being Electus just keeps getting more confusing.

However, the voice said

"Graza Ho Dofet"

over and over in my dream.

All night long."

Mogranius replies with

"Interesting. I do not know what that means but this language sounds familiar.

Although i don't see this situation as a threat, why don't you join me and meditate.

It might help.

You might be able to find answers to your own questions."

Eric replies with

"Alright but i never mediated before. What shall i do?"

Mogranius replies with

"Just sit down, let go of all worries.

Close your eyes and breathe in and out.

Listen to your surroundings.

Try to connect with this cave.

Spiritually be one with it."

Eric does as he is told. But of course, him meditating at first shot is to good to be true.

Without even taking three or four deep breaths, he asks

"What do i do now?"

Mogranius replies with a rough voice

"MEDITATE"

Eric says

"I am. But i'm only breathing. I breathe all the time. What's the point."

Mogranius replies with a irritated voice

"The point is to focus on your breathing.

Let go of everything else. Let go of your thoughts.

Like the dirt here who is dedicated to be firm and one with the cave, your dedication should be to stop thinking and start listening."

Eric says

"Alright. But what should i listen too?"

Mogranius replies

"THE CAVE!!!"

Eric stops talking and does as he is told.(finally)

And even though he had a hard time meditating, in about three hours or so(just about when he almost snapped), he actually manages to meditate hard enough to listen to the cave.

He understood what Mogranius tried to say.

This cave is one. Each thing in it makes the cave the way it is.

From small to big, be it dirt or rock, makes this cave one.

If one grain of dirt falls from the top, that grain is not lost. It is still a piece of dirt.

It has a purpose, a purpose to be one with the cave.

And the bottom of the cave will be there to catch it.

Like each race that has fallen due to the actions to a racist power hungry race, there is still hope.

The ground is hard but it's not bottomless and the ground offers much trees to climb on.

Meaning the other races won't fall forever.

Like the cave floor catched the dirt grain that fell from the top, Eric catches the innocent and helps them up again.

He is the floor that prevents the innocent from entering a bottomless like suffering.

He is the balancer.

Eric's meditation was short lasting but in those few moments he tapped in a new understanding of his duties as the Electus.

He thought to himself

"It is not just about taking revenge.

It is not just about killing the bad.

It's also about defending the good.

Defending the innocent.

Defending what's right.

It's not just about striking.

Defending should be considered too.

There should be a good balance between them both."

Although Eric managed to tap in a new world of understanding, his patience however did not improve.

He brakes the deep meditation Mogranius was in to by shouting

"I GOT IT"

(He woke up the rest of the gang too)

Mogranius replies with

"This better be good."

Woldemir says with one eye open due to tiredness

"What did you get?"

Eric says

"I get what Mogranius means.

It isn't always about striking is it.

It isn't always about revenge.

Protecting what's left is the way to go as well."

Mogranius replies with

"Indeed. Like i tried to protect the little meditation i finally managed to tap in too."

Eric says

"You have to be sarcastic, do you?

Anyway, i'm glad i took some time to stop and listen.

Sort of hard to do with all of this events going on all at once.

But it was worth it."

(Stefan would say something too but he loves his beauty sleep and fell back asleep shortly after Eric unreasonably woke them up)

Mogranius replies with

"Indeed it was. And i feel proud. I am proud of you.

In such a young age you are able to progress in such a admirable manner.

Not just progressing through your powers but also your mindset, inner peace, and way of understanding.

You are a source of raw power Eric.

If you don't approach your powers with caution, they could be the end of you.

It happened to other Electuses before.

But i am convinced that you are responsible enough."

Eric says

"This whole being Electus is something very new to me.

But i suppose without you i would be in another place right now.

Either being further enslaved by a ill.u.s.tratio or dead like my mother.

I'm glad i have someone who can guide me."

Mogranius replies with

"To be honest, i didn't ever expect that i would guide two Electuses in my life.

And i didn't at all expect to time travel at this h.e.l.l hole.

But if destiny brought me here, i will do anything in my power to help you free this land."

Eric says with

"Yes yes you are very lucky.

We should perhaps call you The Chosen One.

You were Chosen to guide two all powerful warriors."

Mogranius replies with a mocking tone

"Indeed. Very powerful."

Eric says

"Was that Sarcasm? Again?"
