"Sheen, I'm telling you this because I am worried about you," Wyn frowns while sipping his bubble tea.

Everyone else is in Clark's s.p.a.ce while celebrating Cj's birthday.

Wyn suddenly pulled her outside to say that she should go back with him.

Sheen sighs, she didn't even sleep because after they got back, Bea asked her to help her with the party.

Of course, she'd help because it's for Cj.

"Wyn... it just happened that you're here when this happened. I didn't even imagine that something so awful would happen with Cj. Also, it's not a good thing to say that after witnessing only one bad event, Wyn. But thank you for worrying," Sheen smiled.

Her eyes are almost sinking in her dark eye bags.

"No, Sheen. Bea told me all the things that happened to you since you got here. Sheen, are you really sure you want to stay here?" Wyn leans on the wall while he stares at Sheen who's standing in his right side.

"Why not, I mean... Yeah, of course, Bea would tell you everything. She once rooted for you," Sheen whispers.

"What?"

"Nothing. I mean, yes. I will stay here. Bad things happen, Wyn. No matter how much we try to avoid them, they just suddenly pop out of nowhere."

Sheen leans on the wall beside Wyn and sips her bubble tea.

They were silent for a while.

"The engagement offer is still available," Wyn suddenly said out of nowhere.

Sheen chuckles, "Thank you, Wyn. You deserve someone kind, beautiful, smart and strong. You deserve the best."

"You mean, someone like you?" Wyn looks at Sheen.

"Hm, no... I am not strong, so no, someone not like me," Sheen sips until the last drop of her bubble tea which is making the noise bounce around the hallway.

Wyn brushed her words off and snorted.

"I think we see yourself differently then," Wyn walks towards Sheen and placed his hands above Sheen's head, pinning her on the wall.

Sheen sighs, "Wyn, we've talked about this, right?" she looks straight to his eyes.

"But it's just talking, Sheen. I just can't talk with my feelings, 'Hey, feelings, stop loving Sheen," Wyn leans over to her, kissing her head.

Sheen closes her eyes and takes a deep breath, "Then, if we can't talk to your feelings, then we should not talk anymore."

Sheen pushes him away and walks back to Clark's s.p.a.ce.

Wyn was left looking at the floor with the empty bubble tea cup on his hand.

"Argh!" He shouted and kicked the wall.

Sheen returned to the birthday party with a gloomy face.

Most of the reason is that she's tired as h.e.l.l and the other is because of Wyn.

She knows he was just worried.

But going over-board and jumping from one open topic to a forgotten one was quite a shock for her.

Kady saw her with a look that is very familiar to him so he went to her, "Hey, a.s.sistant of my business partner," Kady laughs.

Sheen looks at him like he's the stupidest person, "What, boss' business partner?" she said.

Both of them laughs while the others are having a great time.

Dan saw them and went to Bea.

"Hey, your cousin is really surrounded by a lot of guys," Dan commented while looking at Sheen.

Bea took a piece of the strawberry cake she ordered, "Well, she deserves it. She never got love when she was young, you know. Her parents let her stay with our satanic relatives, grew up like a puppet, fell in love with someone who left her... she deserves it, doesn't she?" Bea points the fork with a cake at Dan with sharp eyes.

"Yeah," he said while scratching the back of his neck.

Bea is very protective of Sheen that she supports her with everything Sheen decides on. She never wants to hurt Sheen and she wants the best for her. Dan's heart suddenly raced while thinking about how sweet his fiancee is. That he's lucky to be married with such a lovely girl.

But his face suddenly went dark when he remembered about work again.

Four, no, five, including Mr. Rogers, are absent in the company today.

He just continued on eating cake while he already feels the heavy work for tomorrow.

Clark is with Cj in Cj's bedroom while the kid eats his piece of strawberry cake.

"Cj..." Clark said while staring at his son.

Cj just looks at him while eating his cake.

The moment Cj woke up earlier, he immediately runs down when he heard that he has a party.

He didn't even pay attention to his father who keeps on calling him.

But Clark didn't let him slide, he can't let this day pa.s.s without them talking.

While Bea was slicing the strawberry cake for Cj, Clark stayed behind Cj without him noticing and when Bea gave Cj his piece of cake, Clark carried him upstairs.

"I'm sorry. It's my fault you were kidnapped. I'm sorry for shouting at you. I'm sorry for being too busy and even forget your birthday. I'm sorry because you're stuck with me. I know if your mother is alive, you will choose her over me. I know if you can choose Sheen over me, you would choose her," Clark looks away with a frown.

He's not good at apologizing since he never do anything that will require him to apologize and it's hard because it's his son he's apologizing to.

A kid which is the same with him.

He raised Cj to stand alone.

And the kid might not even care about his father.

"Pft," Cj laughs and covers his mouth full of cake.

Clark looks at him with wide eyes.

Does he think he's funny?

He might've looked pathetic while apologizing.

"I will really choose Sheen over my lonely old man! Sheen's the prettiest, why would I choose my ugly dad?" CJ laughs.

His happy tone and smiles made Clark smile.

His heavy heart lightened.

Cj is really just a kid, a simple sorry would suffice.

But what if he's already all grown up, someone who will not let someone get away with a simple word?

Clark leans over to Cj and kissed his forehead, leaving Cj in shock.

"Ew! That's gross! Only Sheen can do that! Ew!" Cj wipes his forehead with his blanket.

Clark just laughs, the important thing now is that he grows aware of the people around him.

And to cherish every moment with Cj while he's still a kid.

He messes Cj's hair while he was rubbing hard on his forehead.

This will pa.s.s someday, and regretting will only make him go back in this moment badly.

"Hey," Dan arrives while holding two plates of cake.

Cj runs to him and took one, "Dan," Clark stands up leaving Cj on his bed while eating his cake.

"About what you said this morning, don't blame yourself about what happened. The only important thing is that they are all in jail, I was thinking of letting Mrs. Corsilla go, but leaving just one pest can return with a bigger problem."

Clark pats Dan's shoulders, "Also, can I be your best man?" Clark asks with a smile on his face.

He can't always act as if he's still lonely when he has a lot of people around him.

Friends.

Family.

Dan looks at him with surprise but he just nods, "Yeah."

"By the way, if you don't want her end up with other guys in this s.p.a.ce, you better do something already," Dan smirks and went inside to talk with Cj.

Clark was confused for a while, his forehead creased, but the moment he turned around and saw Sheen talking with Kady, his chest tightens.

He clenched his fist without him noticing while staring sharply at Kady but he noticed Wyn, he's looking sadly at Sheen while he's with Bea.

'Did something happened between these two?' Clark asks himself.

Mr. Rogers went upstairs and gave Clark an envelope, " You are invited to the Guandemo Banquet this Sat.u.r.day, and you may bring anyone according to Sir Guandemo, Sir."

"Guandemo?" Clark took the envelope, "They only invite people who they want to talk about. What is it this time? They invited me last time to talk about Cj's mother, they are the ones who spread that rumor about me raping her," Clark clicked his tongue.

He noticed Kady talking over his phone and went to Sheen.

He can't stop looking at them that Mr. Rogers looks at Kady as well.

"I heard Sir Kady is invited as well, Sir," Mr. Rogers said and glances over Clark.

"What?"

"Yes, Sir. So if you want to bring someone aside from Sir Cj, I think you should ask her now or else someone else might bring her."

Clark looks at Mr. Rogers.

He knows who he is pertaining to.

But he just sighs, "I'll ask her tomorrow. But if she's with Kady already, it's fine."

"Hey, Kady, you mean, you'll bring us all?" Bea asks with her eyes overflowing with excitement.

After receiving a call about the Guandemo Banquet, he invited Bea and Sheen.

Wyn might've received an invitation after reading his e-mails.

But Kady noticed that Wyn's acting weird.

He's so timid and quiet.

And he can't even look at Sheen.

Kady peeks at Sheen, she's still smiling.

It might be something Wyn did.

Sheen won't feel bad if she didn't do anything wrong which usually scares the person who did something to her.

Kady sighs and nods, "Yeah, why not? Tell Dan to go with us, he's such a nice guy."

Bea nods happily, it's a rare opportunity to be invited to an extravagant banquet full of high-cla.s.s people.

But she's still hesitant if it's a good idea to go since it's mostly a fly trap for people.

They only invite people to talk about them, and most of the gossip from that banquet spread fast and are believed by most people.

Bea looks at Sheen, she's worried for her.

Their relatives once went to Guandemo Banquet and after that, people started talking about Sheen and Kady's family badly.

It's been years but gossips don't just die that easily.
