Su Xiyu was astounded at the sight of the murderous look in Fu Sinian's eyes. Fu Sinian always kept his thoughts calm and rational, but now his mask of detachment cracked. Su Xiyu glanced at Xu Zijin and understood why Fu Sinian became so fierce. When he had found her in the village, he had fallen into a painful self-blame for not having taken good care of her.
