"And you think it would be that long before it happens?" Cui Yao questioned. "Believe it or not, Xueyan is cooking something."

"And it's not good!" Qingnuan supported. "If only you had seen her yourself, that arrogant face of hers... Ah! I should have scratched that face of hers."

"Well, you didn't. Now, keep it low." s.h.i.+ya face palmed. "This isn't where to yell."

"I think Xueyan is a twin, though." Cui Yao announced.

s.h.i.+ya slowly turned as her mouth hung open and her eyes popped out. "What do you mean?"

"Yes, and it's her twin that is acting that high and mighty."

"How are you so sure?" s.h.i.+ya asked. There was no Xueyan would be a twin. "It's not possible,"

"We thought as much," Qingnuan said. "But after much consideration, I think Xueyan is really a twin."

s.h.i.+ya thought she was hearing things. There was no way for her to believe such a ridiculous thing. "Just consideration? I don't believe."

There was a slight knock on the door and it was pushed open by Jiuwen. There was that mocking smile on her face.

"Oh, seems like an plan is being hatched and I came at the wrong time."

"Jiuwen, you don't just barge in on people..." 

"I knocked, s.h.i.+ya. I did, unless you have developed ear problems." Jiuwen was still smiling, mockingly. s.h.i.+ya expression said she wasn't pleased to see her, so maybe she'd linger around a bit more.

"Ok, tell me. What are you guys planning?" She took a gla.s.s of fruit juice from the table and sipped. "The taste is good," 

"Get out," Cui Yao pointed at the door.

"And who are you?" Jiuwen asked. "Oh, s.h.i.+ya's pet. Sorry I forgot, it's just that I forget unimportant people."

"Feng Jiuwen, what do you think you're doing?" It was Qingnuan that asked.

"Trying to find out what ever you guys are cooking up. And for who?"

"Jiuwen?"

"s.h.i.+ya?" She grinned up at the girl. She could see the veins on s.h.i.+ya's head bulge. She was trying to hold in her anger. And it only pleased Jiuwen more. "You're really dumb! Xiao s.h.i.+ya, you're dumb. To think that you've nothing else to do than gossip with these girls. Shouldn't you be thinking of how to make Zhaolin like you back?" 

Jiuwen continued. "No, instead you're here hatching an evil plan. Tell me, who is it for? Uhm, let me guess. Bai Xueyan?"

"..."

"You're surprised I know? Or perhaps, shocked?" Jiuwen sneered. "I know already, and a special news you don't know, is that Zhaolin and Xueyan already met! Another special news but I'd rather keep it for another day." As she finished she stood up and walked out.

Leaving a very shocked s.h.i.+ya to her equally shocked friends. 

"Wait, what did Jiuwen just say?" Cui Yao asked.

"I think she said the two already met..." Qingnuan trailed off.

The room fell into a pool of silence.

Jiuwen couldn't help but giggle and some of the employees pa.s.sing by turned to look at her. She didn't mind though and continued on her way out of the building.

"Who are you?" One of the guards asked.

"He's an outsider, doesn't matter who he is, we should take him for questioning."

"Yes, he looks very suspicious." 

The guards discussed amongst themselves.

"I'm just a little lost," Ruqin said, she didn't like the a.s.sumptions they easily made about her.

Her voice surprised the guards.

"He's a woman!" One of the guards screamed. "I heard that female spies are very brutal. They act coy and kind but are actually dangerous and vile." 

"It's true." The chanted.

"On your knees!" The one who looked like the head commanded. And when Ruqin didn't obey, they took out their spears and pointed it Ruqin.

Ruqin was taken aback by their impatience.

Author: Ruqin, do you know the meaning of patience? Then please keep quiet and don't talk about it.

"Woah, woah. Easy, there." She took a step back as the guards tried to close in on her. She pushed her hands out, "Stop, I say!"

But the guards weren't listening. They continued moving closer. There was a very tall wall behind her do there was simply no way for her to escape.

They continued until she had a foot behind her and another in front. Her hands in an attack motion.

They were surprised, she had a sword in her hand but hadn't unsheathed it yet. Did she think they were here to play?

With absolute force, they all pushed forward ready to trap the intruder with their Spears, but she was smarter and they weren't informed in time. She took a leap into the air, flying high above them, she walked on their head and came to stand behind them.

"Ahan?" 

The guards turned to see her fleeing away.

"After her!" The supposed leader said.

And with speed they went after Ruqin. They divided in two, so it will be easier to find her. They soon came at a stop after much running.

They had come face to face with themselves.

Ruqin had run into an old room. "What is wrong with those fools? Don't they get tired?" She was panting for air and walking around in the dark until her leg kicked against a metalic object and she had to scream.

"Ah!" She quickly slapped her mouth shut.

"I think she's in there," she heard the guards outside say. She immediately went to hide under a table to avoid being seen.

The guards came in and searched for a minute but found nothing so they eventually left.

And the camera was put on hold. Make up was applied on her leg, to look as if it was the wound from hitting the metal thing.

When Ruqin came out of the old room, the guards had left as they couldn't find her. They believed she must have escaped when they weren't paying attention.

The scene would continue from her barging into the women Chambers.

As soon as she pushed the door open, her eyes met the Empress's own. Filled with anger and almost shooting fire.

"What do you doing in here?"

"Oh, I'm lost. My bad..." Ruqin apologized and backed away but before she could take the last step that would have let her out, the Empress flicked her hand and the doors were shut.

"I think I remember you, the nuisance from yesterday, right?" Wei Ying asked.

"No," Ruqin tried to smile. "I'm not a nuisance,"

The two consorts were shocked by her courage! It was known right from the start that no one was allowed to disrespect the Empress and now that she was pregnant, it doubled. So giving her a headache now was like giving it to two people.

"Who are you to talk back to the Empress," one of the consort asked.

"Yan Ruqin,"

"The guts!" The second consort said. "You should be kneeling before the Empress instead."

"Why?" Ruqin asked. She truly didn't understand why she had to. 

"Isn't the reason clear?" The second consort asked. "She's the Empress!"

"Oh," Ruqin bowed slightly. "Now if you will excuse me." And with that said, she headed for the door.

"Stop right there!"

"Oh, not again!" Ruqin facepalmed. "And what may the Empress need from me?"

"For you to kneel and greet." She flicked her head and the two consorts went to grab Ruqin.

"I hate bullying weak people," Ruqin grinned. "Please don't do this," she was trying hard to obey Master Su's order. Of not harming anyone in the palace, especially the royalties for it was in her position to protect them instead. "Don't push me to do the unimaginable."

Still, the two consorts grabbed her. "Shut it!" They commanded.

She tried not to struggle and allowed them push her toward the Empress. When she got close enough they tried to make her knee, but she stood there like an unmoving rock.

The two consorts tried continually to push her down to her knee, but Ruqin was much stronger so without putting much effort, she shrugged the women off.

"As a n.o.ble, it's only polite I greet you with a bow but not with my knees. You're taking it over," Ruqin statement not only shocked the consorts but the guards and maid around them.

"n.o.ble?" Wei Ying asked. "You must be delusional."

"I'm not! My father was the ruler of Yan village before master Su came up with the evil plan of putting us into extinction." She didn't forget to smile. "You should know that much, as the Empress. Or you busy yourself with buying jewelries and precious stones only?"

Wei Ying pushed herself up from her chair. "You're way too smart, young lady. For your own good."

"I should take that as a compliment but I feel offended."

Wei Ying thought she was hearing things. "What did you just say?"

"Pardon my manner, my lady. I will love to take my leave." Ruqin turned to the door, and saw guards lined up there. She smirked. You all must want to play, but with the wrong person.

Without much delay, she launched forward. 

Just at the last minute, she made a dodge. Escaping the guards without touching any of them. Once she was outside, she tried to catch her breath.

"That is her, catch her!" Ruqin facepalmed. This palace is a mess.

"Cut!" Director Ye said, a light smile on his face. "You're not panting enough, and you, Fangxi? You need to add a little more expression on your face." 

"But Director," Fangxi started. 

"Just do like you're told instead of complaining." Director Ye stopped her. He didn't like anytime she complained.
