Not too far away the group of three stopped and the leader darted a look back at the little figure standing beside the cla.s.sroom door before moving forward with his team.

Everything that had just transpired had been witnessed by the girl that asked about her ident.i.ty yesterday, alongside her friend. "Hey newbie," Chen Qing came over blocking the way to the cla.s.sroom. "What did you say to them?"

Xueyan smacked her lips loudly. "Oh, I didn't speak to them nor did they speak to me..." She pouted her rosy coloured lips. "Did you see me speak to them?" She asked then placed her sweet back into her mouth. 

"You don't have to ask back!" Chen Qing snapped.

She moved round Chen Qing ready to enter the cla.s.sroom but Chen Qing moved again, blocking the door completely. "I'm not done speaking!" She eyed Xueyan. 

"Isn't it too early for all these? I heard the headmistress will be doing rounds today, checking out notebooks. Well well, let's hurry up and get our notes completed."

Xueyan, Chen Qing and the other girl turned to see a girl dressed in the school sport uniform, walking up to them. Her hair tied up in a messy bun. One of her pant's leg was rolled up to the knee. There was no trace of makeup on her beautiful natural face. She walked up to them and tilted her head to the side. There was a stick in her hand which hit the second hand continuously.

  She looks like a gangster.  Remarked Xueyan.

"You, you," she pointed the stick at Chen Qing and the other girl. "Are your note books up to date?"

"What business do I have with you? Even if the headmistress will be going round, the one who should peeing in their panties is you and this newbie." Chen Qing snorted. 

"Hehe, yeah, yeah. You're right about that, allow me to take this newbie away then. We don't want to be caught unprepared. We should go complete our notebooks." The girl finished speaking and beckoned on Xueyan to follow her.

"Yeah, yeah, go along with her, besides you two are of the same calibre." Chen Qing said haughtily. 

Xueyan stood rooted at the same spot not daring to move until the girl came forward and grabbed her hand. Xueyan thought she would be pulled with great force but to her surprise the girl nudged her a little and raised an eyebrow, which clearly translated to

The girl pulled Xueyan further away from the two girls. The girl looked back continuously to make sure the other two didn't follow. "Stay at from those girls. Be wary of them. They are not nice." The girl said when they were out of earshot. 

"Hunh? Not nice? Really?" Xueyan seemed to think then said. "They only asked me some questions. 

The girl smiled at her, "Some questions indeed. Bye." 

Before Xueyan could react the girl had left, "But wait, what is your name? You didn't tell me!" Xueyan yelled at the top of her voice seemingly talking to the disappearing figure.

That was the first time she had seen him, even if they didn't speak to each other. It will forever be her unforgettable memory. And that girl back then?

The girl had turned after walking some distance away, waving goodbye to her. 

The bell rang after she stood there for some time, signifying the beginning of cla.s.s. Xueyan went back to her cla.s.sroom, the empty cla.s.s had been filled up with students bustling around. She stood at the door perhaps, surprised by what she was seeing. The teacher arrived and darted an eye to the lost Xueyan. "Miss, are you sitting for this cla.s.s?" The man's voice boomed from the teacher's stand. 

The whole cla.s.s turned toward Xueyan. Xueyan was looking at the teacher now, her eyes annoyed the man. 

"Ya, if you are not attending this cla.s.s you get our of my sight!"

Xueyan finally came back to her senses. "I'm for this cla.s.s but..."

"But what?" The man's tone was very unfriendly. 

Xueyan darted a look at the desk she had used the previous day and saw that it had been occupied by the boy from earlier. 

"If you are for this cla.s.s then go sit!"
