The boy gloated in his mind. "Why didn't you start your high school here? Why only now?" The students eyes travelled in-between the boy and the new girl, even the teacher wasn't left out.

Xueyan nodded and strode to the empty desk. 

"My dearest Xueyan... Come share this desk with me." The boy that had been putting on an act said. 

"You really know her?" A boy asked him.

The teacher took a deep breath and started the day cla.s.s.

Xueyan focused her attention on the teacher, trying her best to ignore her surroundings like they did her. 

The teacher Mrs Yin spent about forty-five minutes then left. 

Soon it was lunch break, few boys came up to her telling her to join them for lunch but she shook her head, saying no. 

She looked out the window, at the beautiful scenery and smiled.  I'm now a high school student.

She turned and saw that it was the boy that kept saying he knew her,  somewhat.

He scratched his head not knowing what to say or do. By now few students were returning back to the cla.s.sroom. Some bypa.s.sed her and said,

"She must think she's some mega star to have an empty desk waiting for her special arrival."

"She's sitting so comfortably, I wonder what the silent devil would do... hehe."

Xueyan heard everything but took none to heart. She wanted to have one of the happiest high school moments.

She got home, filled with excitement. 

She told her sister and little brother how her first day had been.

Xueyan lifted the corner of her mouth slowly, her smile light. 

"OK, OK," she stood up from the dinning table, "I will go help mom with her new designs."

Yuxi and s.h.i.+huan waved her off. 

' I just lied, about making some friends... They didn't even like me except for that Gong Xi. Not even a girlfriend... I think I chose the wrong high school. But I can survive all odds, and sure I will survive it!'

Bai Xueyan went to school jogging. The day wasn't hot, so she wasn't much sweaty. It was January and  still snowing but not that day. She had a stick sweet in her mouth. Her hair into two ponytails. Her eyes sparkling. Her face was flushed with cuteness. 

Her second day of high school. 

By now she had arrived at the door to her cla.s.sroom, it was clear that she was very early as the corridors was filled with few students. She pulled the cla.s.sroom door open and came face to face with three male students. They all had a different aura swirling around them. She stood there in a trance and studied the three boys. 

The first one was  obviously  the leader, his hair covered from his head down to his eyebrows, his jet black eyes looking straight at her. He had this cool aura of true n.o.blity but there was something else. His eyes were blank. She blinked and looked at the person beside him, the one at his right, the boy blinked at her and she frowned.  What's wrong with him?   Then her eyes went to the third person, he looked more like a hooligan than a student. His brows furrowed,

"Hey, kiddo. Move away!" The one that had blinked at her said. 

She came back to her senses and moved away to stand at the side.

The three boys strode out.

Wait, why did he call me a kiddo? And are they in the same cla.s.s as I am... Oh, don't tell me, 2  they are... No, it's not possible. Hehe, in such a prestigious school, that isn't one bit possible.  He's clearly lying and trying to get noticed. Now, what is she thinking?
