Anna Ming and Qing  Jia changed out of their uniforms and into their clothes. Anna raised and dropped her eyebrows at Qing Jia. The latter smiled and tiptoed to lock a door.

After five minutes series of knock resounded in the room.

Xueyan rushed into the changing room when she heard the knock. She was surprised to see Anna and Jia in the room.

Anna was busy with her phone, while Jia was chewing on a gum. She ran to the door and opened it, it was Mei Han knocking.

She had been locked in the bathroom it seemed like. Mei Han's breathing was incoherent. Mei Han hit her chest countless times to steady her breathing meanwhile Xueyan patted her back to help her too.

"How did you get locked in there?" Xueyan asked when Mei Han breathing had steadied.

Mei Han shot daggers at the two ladies that pretended like they were not present. Her mouth formed a grim line. Sweats dropped from her temples. 

Xueyan saw where she was looking at and tried to ignore the two.

Mei Han stumped her feet and strode towards the two. "Who locked me in?" 

Jia turned to face her. "What do you mean who locked you? How would we know that?"

"Right?" Mei Han felt like slapping her across her cheek. "Then didn't you hear me knocking all you could have done was unlock it..."

"No, no." Jia interrupted, waving her index fingerv in front of Mei Han. "I don't include myself in others problem. It's your problem so sort it yourself." Jia picked her bag and together with Anna they left.

A tear dropped from Mei Han's eyes. She felt weak! She felt like a child again. A weak child with no one to protect her. Found in a very cold room with tiny clothings on.

She didn't want that part of her life to resurface... Not again!

"Are you okay?" Xueyan asked.

Mei Han nodded. "Y... Ye... Yes, I think." She nervously wiped the sweat on her forehead.

Xueyan felt so weak. She balled her hands into fists. "Do you think they did this?"

Mei Han shook her head nervously... "No! I bet that after I slammed the door it clicked lock."

"But they had been out here before you entered, right?" Xueyan enquired.

"I don't think so. They must have arrived thirty seconds before you." Mei Han lied. She applied lotion on her pale face and some makeup to brighten it.

She changed into her clothes. "I will wait outside for you. Change and we can leave."

Xueyan felt like Mei Han didn't want to talk about it and respected it. She went in to change. But it was as clear as day what had happened.

After changing, Xueyan came out and they both left!

Their way back was as silent as a graveyard. Mei Han said nothing and Xueyan did the same.

Mei Han left to her apartment and Xueyan went to go board the bus.

On her way, she received a text. Xueyan frowned. She keeps rejecting him but he keeps coming back.

Her mouth twitched. Maybe she'd meet him up today, just this once. And it will be the final.

She decided, then replied.

In a second another text came in with the location and time.

Xueyan got home just in time to change. She was surprised to see Yuxi back. "Why are you back so early?" Xueyan questioned.

"Well I'm done with the day's job." Yuxi shrugged. "Take a look at these..." Yuxi pa.s.sed Xueyan her laptop. It was a photo. A photo of two young ladies, they seemed to be having a discussion.

Xueyan inspected the photo more and discovered who the ladies were. "Chen Qingnuan and Cui Yao?" She then turned to Yuxi. "How did you get this?"

"They are more," Yuxi said and clicked the next b.u.t.ton. This time the camera was very close! Five feet away. Xueyan calculated mentally.

Yuxi clicked again. It was a picture of a private room in an expensive restaurant.

The next one was a picture of Cui Yao mouth disfigured... She seemed to be talking.

"She's so nosy," Yuxi commented.

Xueyan had a look of doubt. "How did you get all this?"

"I will tell you later... Let's go through the photos first!"

Yuxi clicked again. It was a photo of Qingnuan smiling. "It's all a facade. Believe me that smile is fake." Yuxi said but didn't take her eyes of the screen.

Xueyan watched her for a while and turned to the screen again.

The next photo was of a door and then a photo of a dumbstruck... Xiao s.h.i.+ya... This time Xueyan pushed the laptop away and faced Yuxi.

"What is going on in those photos?"

"There are more..." Yuxi suddenly giggled. "I made sure to capture them while they were talking. They really look ugly, what do you say? You wanna see?" Yuxi went for the laptop and brought it back to where they were sitting on the bed.

"No! Tell me how you captured those photos, instead. That's what I wish to know right now!" Xueyan prodded.

"Ok," Yuxi started. She held Xueyan's head in-between her hands. "It's a good thing that we are so identical, you know why? Because the Lord wants us to mess with a lot of people's head! Take for example, Xiao s.h.i.+ya, Chen Qingnuan and Cui Yao... They don't like you but pretend to. So the Almighty knows you are as pure as an Angel and can't deal with them... So in turn he made us identical because I can deal with them much better!" Yuxi effused.

Xueyan was still in a confused state. "Yuxi, what are you trying to say?"

"What do you think I'm trying to say?" The smile on Yuxi's face vanished. "I will keep pretending to be you... You can't face them alone! You did before but now... You have me as a sidekick. Why do you think they are so desperate to know how you faired all these while? Its because they want to know if you're still that weak Bai Xueyan... And even if you are, you have me to support you." Yuxi gabbled.

Xueyan found it hard to believe that no one suspected Yuxi.

"Are you that sure no one noticed something off about you?" Xueyan probed.

"No! They don't see beyond the surface. They are so dumb unlike they seem. They just want you and even if there's thousands of people with the same look they'd still believe its you..."

Xueyan tried to make sense of what Yuxi was going on about.

"Now don't worry about all these and go have fun." Yuxi smiled and ran out of the room to avoid more questions from Xueyan.

"Go have fun?" Xueyan repeated. "Bai Yuxi!" Xueyan brayed.

Xueyan made sure to be on time, a waitress escorted her to the reserved table. The whole restaurant was in total darkness. She was surprised to see Zhaolin already seated and there was a chain of lit up candle on the table.

He wore a simple white turtleneck and black blazer but remained as handsome as ever. 

When he saw her he stood up to pull the chair for her.

Xueyan had worn a simple black top and jeans with a blazer to protect her from the cold.

Xueyan looked around and noticed something was off. "Why are we the only people here?"

"I reserved the whole place," there was a light smile on his charming face.

"Get to the point!" Xueyan said. "Why did you invite me out?"

Zhaolin still had his smile on. "I want to officiate this relations.h.i.+p." Zhaolin said without beating around.

"What do you mean?"

"Exactly what I said. I want to officiate this relations.h.i.+p."

"There was never a relations.h.i.+p to begin with..."

"There was in the beginning," Zhaolin interrupted. "I want it to go on."

Xueyan chuckled. "Mr Xing, I do not wish to continue. This should be the last time you call me to meet you up for this same reason." Xueyan stood up and the chair toppled over. She then walked out.

Zhaolin sat with a sullen expression.

There was a whisper from behind as two tall shadows emerged.

There was a screeching sound as one of them dragged a chair over.

"Wow! That was truly Bai Xueyan. She's changed a lot. What a beauty she's become." There was a string of silence following the last statement.

Li Xiangyang wished he could have his tongue chopped off with the look Zhaolin directed at him.

"Mr Xing, she had referred to you... Is that what you two agreed on?" Dai Jingyao asked.

"No, Xueyan came up with that." There was sadness in his tone.

"Really?" Xiangyang asked. "Are you that sad?" He arched a brow.

Jingyao slapped him on his arm. "You should be thinking of how to help him get her..."

"How am I to do that?" Xiangyang pushed Jingyao's hand away. "I have never been in love..."

"You're useless then." Zhaolin furrowed his brows.

"No, heh." Xiangyang laughed awkwardly. "Not totally useless. I can teach you some tricks to use..."

Xiangyang cleared his throat. "Firstly you have to be genuine! We live in a world wherein being genuine has become such a rare quality. So try as much as possible to be genuine."

He waited for Zhaolin's expression and saw the young master frown.

"Ok?" Jingyao  already impatient.

"Secondly, open up to her. Many men are brought up to avoid being vulnerable in front of the girl. However, think about it. You only open up in front of people you truly care about and are truly confortable with..." Xiangyang paused and drank water.
