Drop her a message in the middle of the workday to check how her day is going or pick her up from work so that you'll get that extra 30 minutes to spend together. Message her good morning first thing when you wake up or send her flowers or any small memento that makes you think of her.

"Now let me continue from where I stopped," Xiangyang chirped. "Be there when she needs someone. You sure as h.e.l.l don't need to be a girl's doormat but you definitely want to be her shoulder to cry on when she needs it. If she needs someone by her side, make sure it's you. It will show her how committed, dependable and serious you are about having her in your life and wanting to be in hers.

Sixth, be Chivalrous. I would strongly like to believe that chivalry isn't dead. Be polite, open doors, walk on the traffic side of the road, and escort her home.

Xiangyang took a deep breath. "This is hard but you have to! Your undivided attention. Get off that mobile phone of yours when you are with her. Jingyao made an instant turn to see whether he truly said that.

"Ptooey," Xiangyang spitted out of half of the water in his mouth.

Zhaolin stood up and strode towards the door while Jingyao and Xiangyang hurried after him.

"I will be going back to my club," Jingyao waved at Zhaolin as the bellboy had driven his car to the front.

"I will join you," Xiangyang said. "It's been long I had a good time."

Zhaolin zoomed out of the premises leaving the two to their business.

Xiangyang and Jingyao followed suit.

In a very lit up sitting room. The clock short hand struck the number eleven.

It's already so late, where's he? s.h.i.+ya asked worriedly.

She tried to sit but it made her more impatient so she stood up and walked to and fro in the big parlor.

The phone on the table lit up and started vibrating. s.h.i.+ya looked at the caller and frowned.

She looked away. She wasn't in the mood to entertain his nonsense.

The phone went off then started vibrating again. She sat down and was about to pick when she heard a car drive in. She threw the phone on the couch and went to get the door.

Zhaolin turned the doork.n.o.b and came face to face with s.h.i.+ya, he had the urge to frown. He walked past her, while pulling his suit jacket, she went forward and pulled it from behind.

"Welcome, do you want to freshen up first or eat?"

She was too close as he turned around and came face to face with her again.

"I'm not hungry. I will be going to bed first." He climbed the stairs and dashed into his room.

s.h.i.+ya still had the suit in her hand. She searched it but found nothing.

She breathed in and held it for a while.

What was she thinking? She prayed silently he haven't found out about Xueyan.

Meanwhile upstairs,

Zhaolin just came out of the bathroom with a robe draped over his shoulder. He walked to his bedroom table and turned on his laptop.

He typed some words and clicked the search b.u.t.ton, he read through every article that was connected to his search.

Forty five minutes later, he was done reading then closed his eyes as if to memorize everything he just read. Zhaolin cleared his search history and picked up his work file and started going through them.

In s.h.i.+ya's room, she dialled the number she had ignored its call some minutes ago.

It connected and an excited voice said. "h.e.l.lo? s.h.i.+s.h.i.+?"

s.h.i.+ya's brows furrowed. "s.h.i.+ya! Don't forget that!"

"Alright." The other person grumbled.

"Do you have any news for me?" s.h.i.+ya asked, there was a tender smile on her face.

"What sort of news do you desire, my lady?" The person asked.

"Its s.h.i.+ya! Don't forget that!" s.h.i.+ya corrected. "You should know better. Do you have any lead on her?" There was a ray of hope in s.h.i.+ya's tone.

The person on the other end must have felt it as there was a minute of silence. "Not really. But I promise to have one soon. It's just so hard to find her... I think she's hiding from the world. She creeps out of her hiding place when there's no one watching. It won't take long I promise." The person blathered.

"How long?" s.h.i.+ya mumbled out through clenched teeth.

"Give me two days my... Miss s.h.i.+ya."

"A day! I will give you the chance to meet me." s.h.i.+ya smirked.

"Really?" The excited voice at the other end questioned. "A day then. I get to chose where."

"Okay!" s.h.i.+ya agreed and hung up.

s.h.i.+ya sent a message out to Jiuwen, asking that they meet up the next day. No reply came in so s.h.i.+ya slept off.

When Xueyan opened her eyes the sun was directly overhead. She looked at the time and almost screamed her lungs out.

She jumped out of bed and saw Yuxi taking light steps towards her. "Aren't you going to work?"

Yuxi shook her head. "No," she took a bite of the bread in her hand and sipped her tea. "I mean I will go later, he's going for a shoot today."

"Why didn't you wake me?"

"You seemed to be having a very good sleep as you kept smiling while dreaming. I bet you were having wet dreams about him..." Yuxi made faces at Xueyan.

Xueyan had the urge to puke. "What are you blabbering about?"

Before Yuxi could continue Xueyan marched straight into the bathroom and slammed the door.

Yuxi giggled.

Sometimes later Xueyan came out of the bathroom with a towel around her chest.

Yuxi was in the mood to tease her so she ogled at her and then leered at her.

"Yuxi have you gone nuts? What's with those eyes?" Xueyan hit Yuxi on the head.

"Hahaha. I love your body." Yuxi leered. "No, don't wear that. Wear something different today," Yuxi went to open her side of the wardrobe and pulled out a knee length mercury coloured dress. It was a bit loose at the top. "Put it on."

Xueyan collected the dress from Yuxi. "Really?"

Yuxi nodded.

Xueyan took two minutes. "Whoa! There's something about us being on their hippy side." Yuxi guffawed.

Xueyan smiled. "You think so?"

"Have a look for yourself." Yuxi took Xueyan to the standing mirror to admire herself. Then picked a black open toes heel for Xueyan.

"Am I going to a social event?"

"No, not exactly. From now on you need to look this good. Remaining a car to match..."

Xueyan walked out on Yuxi and Yuxi smiled.
