Demon Emperor's Wild Husband 14 Chapter 14

Chen Ming didn't pay any attention to Li Jun as he started to get his equipment out. He first used alcohol which he especially brewed himself and poured it over the slash wound, Li Jun hissed in pain, looking at him Chen Ming let out a smirk, ' this disinfectant alcohol was really strong even the strongest person on this whole universe would find it painful'.

After doing his thing Chen Ming dresses the wound on Li Jun's body.

"All done", Chen Ming said as he wiped the non-existing sweat on his forehead. Chen Ming looked at Li Jun and gave him a serious look.

"Don't move around and stay still, I will need to look at the wound every so often. Then though it doesn't look like it's serious in reality you could have died. Whatever was used had poison on it luckily only a little bit went into your bloodstream. Stay here I'm gonna go find some food for us, don't leave, I saved your life so you owe me a favour and if you leave I will hunt you down", Chen Ming was speaking seriously to Li Jun until the last part. The way Chen Ming said it sent a chill down Li Jun's back.

For the first time, he felt a chill, usually, he was the one giving it to others. This little kid is really something else. He was also curious about how this kid got here, this isn't exactly the best place for anyone, no matter how strong, this area is filled with sprite beast who hunt down humans.

Chen Ming was gone for an hour when he came back both his hands were full. One of the hand had leaves and other strange looking things while the other hand has a little beast. Li Jun looked at Chen Ming with surprise, he has been here for two days and during that time he wasn't able to find anything edible to eat. Chen Ming could see that Li Jun was giving him weird looks.

" What's the matter, aren't the things I got enough for you", Chen Ming asked thinking that this was about his insignificant amount of food that is making the man give him weird looks. Li Jun laughed and shook his head.

" No, its just this is the inner area of this forest and even though this is the bottom of a hill its still full of dangerous beasts around, I'm just surprised you were able to get a small beast to eat", Li Jun said as he look at Chen Ming's expression which looked blank.

" Thi-i-i is the inner area of the forest", Chen Ming said not believing what he just heard. He thought that he was still in the middle area. If this man is speaking the truth, when he gets out he will be able to find the herbs that he needs to help him in his cultivation.

" Do you perhaps know your way around this area? Chen Ming asked as he looked Li Jun dead straight in the eyes. Li Jun felt a little conflicted to answer Chen Mings question, he didn't want to say no, Chen Ming did save his life and he owed the favour but he could say yes either. If he did won't that blow his cover, there is after all there hundreds of powerful sprite beast in the inner area he can't risk being spotted by them.

" I know some parts of it, why do you ask?", Li Jun asked acting as if he didn't know what Chen Ming meant. Chen Ming didn't see to understand what was going on and pulled out a piece of paper from his sleeves.

" Do you perhaps know where I can find these things from?", Chen Ming asked as he pa.s.sed the paper to Li Jun.

I'm sorry on chapter 13 I said that I will post another chapter the day after, but I have been busy with aloy of stuff going on, but here is it, a late/early chapter. I will also be doing on on friday aswell.

Also if your curious why I'm writing here and not the author's thoughts is because it wont allow me to write much and I just wanted to make something clear for the readers. Also Eid Mubarak to anyone celebrating.
