For the next few months, both Chen Ming and Li Jun ventured out together gathering all the herbs. Despite Li Jun said that he will only help Chen Ming find some of the herbs, in the end, he helped him find all of them. They both spent good quality time together, they bonded and got to know more about each other each day. Li Jun was surprised at how strong Chen Ming is for someone his age and Chen Ming was shocked finding out that Li Jun was only 22. Chen Ming thought he would be older because he looks like he would be older.

During the morning Chen Ming walked towards the lake that wasn't far from the cave they were staying at. There he took a nice bath, the water wasn't cold nor was it warm. He always bathed alone. Li Jun never accompanied him to bathe, even though they got really close over the few months and he thought of him as a brother, Li Jun still kept a lot of things to himself. As for why he wouldn't bathe with made him really curious. So, after Chen Ming took his bath he walked to where Li Jun was and asked him directly.

" Why don't you take a bath with me? If you are going to use the excuse of seeing some b.l.o.o.d.y things on your body then don't bother, I've already seen your body", Chen Ming said as he stood in front of Li Jun with his arms folded across his chest. Chen Ming was waiting for a reply but instead, he got nothing. He looked at Li Jun who had a blank expression on his face. Suddenly Li Jun stood up and walked away from Chen Ming, this annoyed Chen Ming to the max, even if he didn't want to answer he doesn't have to but did he really have to walk away.

During the night Chen Ming was inside the cave really to sleep but wasn't able to, for one Li Jun still hadn't come back since he walked away that time and the other was that he was still annoyed by Li Jun. Chen Ming kept looking at the entrance of the cave, even if he was annoyed at Li Jun that didn't mean that he wasn't worried about him. As he looked on he saw a familiar figure walk into the cave, knowing that he was back Chen Ming reclined on his side facing the cave wall rather than Li Jun like he usually does. Li Jun saw this odd behaviour of Chen Ming's and ask him about it.

" Why are you turned to the other side?, I thought you didn't like looking at the wall", Li Jun asked Chen Ming and got no answer in response. Li Jun waited a bit more but he still got nothing. Getting the feeling that he won't answer him Li Jun rested in his area, he was feeling tired after looking for almost the whole day for his item. Luckily he was able to find it, it was near a den full of fire tigers. Dealing with the Tigers was easy but finding the actual item took longer than usual, he even got lost at one point. Now that he found what he came for he has to return, this means that he would have to Chen Ming. He didn't want to think about something like this, because it would hurt him knowing that he can't take Chen Ming along with him, But then again it was all his fault.

He promised himself that he wouldn't get too involved with Chen Ming and that as soon as he recovered he would find the item and leave. However, everything backfired. He let his guard down and let Chen Ming take charge of him. He also thought about what happened this morning with Chen Ming asking him about why he couldn't bathe with him. He didn't know how to respond to him, he was just planning on not saying anything and hoping that Chen Ming would let it slide, but it was at this moment that he could sense the item and had to leave immediately.

The next morning when Chen Ming woke up he saw that Li Jun was nowhere to be found in the cave. Chen Ming knew Li Jun was a grown man who could fend for himself but he still couldn't help but be worried about him. Ming walked out of the cave to see Li Jun sitting on a big rock, as he walked towards him Li Jun looked at him and stood up. Li Jun made direct eye contact with Chen Ming which startled him and he stood still at his spot. Chen Ming wasn't able to read what Li Jun was feeling even by looking at his eyes, they just looked at him blankly. Li Jun slowly started to walk towards Chen Ming when he opened his mouth to say something.

" Look about what happ-" Chen Ming was interpreted when he suddenly felt cold lips on his. From the moment Li Jun woke up he decided to be hard on himself and leave today. However, he couldn't leave just like that so he decided to wait for Chen Ming in order to say one last goodbye to him. When Li Jun saw him and knowing that this might be the last time he sees him, Li Jun felt a burst of emotions and walked up to Chen Ming. Li Jun wrapped his arms about Chen Ming. The warmth he felt coming from Chen Ming left Li Jun feeling numb. Li Jun inclined his face towards Chen Mings and planted his lips on Chen Ming's soft rosy looking ones. The kiss started out softly at first but gradually turning more pa.s.sionate and intense, this made Chen Ming cling to Li Jun as his limbs gave out on his. This intense feeling on his body and lips made him feel dizzy, to him the world was swaying. Li Jun wasn't done just yet, his insistent mouth was parting Chen Ming's shaking lips, allowing his tongue to go inside Chen Ming's mouth, sending wild tremors along his nerves, evoking from him sensations he had never known he was capable of feeling.

Whether it was from his mind being fuzzy or for other reasons, Chen Ming didn't push Li Jun away but rather he was kissing him back. This was Chen Ming first kiss but he felt so much. The sweetness he felt isn't like anything he felt before. He felt like fireworks glowing inside him from the touch of Li Jun's lips.
