"I DON'T WANT TO DIE, NOOOOOOO!!!!"

An eerie silence fell upon the room before the sound of rus.h.i.+ng footsteps came. The heavy footsteps could be heard coming closer and closer fast. The doors to the room were slammed open. Stood at the entrance was a heavy built man next to an average man, but standing next to the heavily built man, the average man looks like an ant looking up at a giant. The size difference was incomparable.

The smaller guy Tao, quickly went to the bed to see a young boy covered in sweat and breathing heavily as if the young boy had experienced a nightmare. worried that the young boy might exhaust himself Tao called out to him.

"Young master, YOUNG MASTER", Tao screamed at the top of his lungs, but the little boy doesn't seem to be waking up. Instead the little started s.h.i.+vering and was stuttering words that made even Tao feel uncomfortable.

"No-oo pl-lease don't, ple-ease". The little boy could barely get any words out completely without s.h.i.+vering and stuttering. Tao looked at the man standing by the door. Probably looking at him for help, however, the big guy doesn't know what to do himself. Tao didn't know what he was meant to do at this situation, so he quickly ran out of the room leaving the man standing by the door baffled and the little boy on the bed making a pool from his sweat. Tao came back after a little while, he was carrying a gold bowl filled with cold water and a cotton towel. Tao dipped the towel in the cold water and squeezed the excess water out, and placed the damped towel on the little boy's forehead. Bao, the giant standing by the door, seen what was happening and felt that he wasn't needed so he left the little boy and Tao on their own. Tao looked after the little boy for the entire night, taking some rest when needed.

The next day, the sun was s.h.i.+ning through the window while Tao was fast asleep. He was woken up by the rustling coming from the bed. When he opened his eyes he saw the little boy slowly getting up from the bed with his hands in his head.

"Young master", Tao whispered, not wanting to disturb up the little boy, but it seems that the little boy heard what Tao said. The boy turned his head to where he heard the whisper from, his eyes widened with shock.

"Who are you? And where am I?". The little boy inquired with the man in front of him with a voice full of authority. Tao looked surprised, upset and hurt at the same time.

"Young master, you don't remember me?", Tao pointed at himself when he asked the little boy the question. Then as if he remembered something he said 'oh'.

"Young master, now I know why you might not remember me, let me explain what happened. Young master and I went out yesterday for a walk, we were attacked some bandits along the walk and you banged your head on a ma.s.sive rock. You were bleeding excessively. Luckily there were other travellers who helped us out, we got a doctor to come and see you and he said that you might have some trouble remembering things. I guess the doctor was right, you don't remember anything,...do you?". Tao asked with a hope that the young master would remember.

"I don't remember anything". The young boy replied in despair. Tao has a smile on his face.

"Don't worry young master I will tell you everything, please try and remember", Tao held the little boy's hands and continued,

"Your name is Ming Chen, you are the youngest Chen son. You are 13 years of age. You love to eat and read books." Tao looked at the young boy with hope in his eyes, but all he saw was a confused looking boy. Tao thought to himself that processing everything for a little boy like him might be hard so we went on to say,

"Don't worry young master, you don't have to remember everything straight away, take your time. Let me get something for you to eat, ok?". Tao expressed himself and waited patiently for the little boy's answer.

"mmh", when Tao heard Ming Chen he got up from the floor and headed to the door before he left the room he took one last glance at the little boy sitting on the bed, he said with confidence,

"Don't worry young master, I will help you get your memory back". After saying that Tao left.

With the departure of Tao, the little boy got up from the bed and went to look in the mirror which he saw at the corner of the room. His heart started beating rapidly, all he could think of is 'what is going on'. He was Chen Ming, the oldest son of the Ming family, he was 25 years old, he was tall and a grown adult at that. He was killed by his brothers and cousins, but it seems that he is still alive but not in his own body but someone else's.

The little boy looked at himself more carefully and noticed that he really was younger, but he didn't look 13, he looked younger. His face was small and his height did not help the matter either. He looked 8. He was wearing traditional clothing.

"My wish come true... I'm alive. Maybe this isn't bad, I could live my life to the fullest like I wanted to. I'm Ming Chen, the youngest son of the Chen family". Chen Ming smiled to himself. While he was alone he took the opportunity to look around the room. The room looked ancient, looking around the whole room he was mesmerized with everything that was in it, everything looks expensive and extravagant. 'This place is so fancy', Chen Ming thought to himself, even though his family back in modern-day China were rich, they lived a very humble, low-key and simple life.

"Looks good doesn't it?", Chen Ming heard a voice similar to his and started freaking out. He didn't know where this voice came from and as far as he remembered he isn't some crazy guy who hears voices in his head.

" Stop freaking out, it's me, Ming Chen, the real Ming Chen". For a while, Chen Ming forgot that he was in someone else's body. He wanted to say something when he was interpreted by the small voice once again,

"Sit on the bed with your legs cross and meditate", the little boy commanded Chen Ming. Chen didn't find it comfortable being ordered by a little kid and said: " Listen, kid, I might be in your body but that doesn't mean you can boss me around you know". There was no response from the other party, after some time pa.s.sed the little kids once again said to Chen Ming " Big brother can you please sit on the bed and meditate, now that you are in my body there are some things that you will need to know about this place, I would tell you this way, however, my soul will leave quicker, so please big brother can you please meditate?". After hearing Ming Chen speak in such a brotherly tone, Chen Ming couldn't help but listen to what the little kids said. Chen sat on the bed crossed legged and started breathing in and out slowly as Ming Chen told him to. One minute become five and then five become ten, just as Chen was losing his patient his conscience was suddenly taken to a golden camper.
