Chen Ming and the Yu family had left behind the swarm of people. The Yu father was leading ahead while the oldest Yu son was behind walking at a similar pace as Chen Ming who was admiring the stores and shops as they walk past it. Chen Ming couldn't help but admire the architecture involved in the buildings, he was amazed at how different it was from the other continents. Everything looked so unique and elegant. Chen Ming thought to himself that for a bad reputation continent their streets were clean and their houses looked new and ahead of their time.

Both Chen Ming and the Yu family carried on walking, as they walked, they noticed that the houses around them started to get bigger and bigger and more lavish. That's when Chen Ming noticed the palace. He has been the palace's in both of the other continents but none is compared to this one that he is looking at right now. The palace is bigger than the other two by more than three times the size. Chen Ming was amazed. This palace is truly one fit for an emperor, the structure of the palace was complicated but it was also elegant. Just looking from afar took Chen Mings breath away. The Yu father looked at the faces of his sons and Chen Ming and couldn't help but let a burst of laughter escaped his lips. All the boys symontainsly turned their heads towards Yu father.

"Papa what's so funny?", the youngest Yu asked his father who was still laughing at the boys. The Yu father shook his hands at the boys dismissing them from him, the boys weren't that concerned with him either as they quickly turned their heads back towards the palace, staring intently at it. As they didn't have much time the Yu father ushered the boys to follow him. The more they walked the more shocked the boy got as they were directly walking towards the palace. The Yu sons and Chen Ming were shocked as they stared at Yu father who grinning from ear to ear. The Yu father almost as if he could read the question on the boys faces answered.

"The place where I found work at the palace, so what do you guys think?", the Yu father asked the boys who looked even more shocked, saying their shocked would be an understatement. The Yu father walked towards the palace gates while the Yu sons and Chen Ming stand there in a state of shock. Chen Ming and the oldest Yu son was the first to recover and after the others. They quickly followed the Yu father towards the gate where four tall and muscular looking guards were standing on the post. As soon as Yu father got near the gate two of the guards stopped him, the Yu father then took out what seemed like a badge and showed it to the guards. One of the guards took the badge off Yu fathers hand and examined it closely.

He then pa.s.sed it to another guard who did the same things, the guards said something to each other then asked something to Yu father to which Yu father nodded his head. The boys and Chen Ming were close enough so they weren't able to hear what they said. However, when they reached the gate they were allowed to go in. The boys were yet again in awe by the palace. Being up close made it look even more stunning than before. The Yu father guided the boys inside and showed them the inside of the palace. After they were done with their tour, Yu father left the palace premises and into a house which was a few minutes walk away from the palace, Yu father told the boys that from now on they will be staying here and that Chen Ming should stay with them until he can find information about his family. The house wasn't big, but it wasn't small either. It was much bigger than their old house. It had three bedrooms, two medium-sized ones and one small one. The Yu father took the small room, the youngest ones took one medium room and Chen Ming shared with the oldest Yu son. As they didn't much stuff with them, setting up their rooms didn't take much time, once they were done they all gathered in the dining room where Yu father went over everything.

" When I applied for the job, I also put in your name for the job too. So, son, you'll be working with me, as for your brothers the emperor was kind and has allowed them to go to a good school. Chen Ming, you don't have to worry about anything take your time looking for your family, you are like a son to me and I want to help you so if you need anything don't be afraid to ask me". Chen Ming was touched by the kindness he received from the Yu family especially the Yu father. He promised himself that we will pay them back for their kindness.

" Mr Yu, will you do a favour for me?", Chen Ming asked the Yu father. Who replied with an of course.

The next day, Chen Ming and the Yu father and son duo sent the two younger Yu brothers off to their first day of school after they all headed towards the palace. Chen Ming has now officially started working in the palace like the Yu father and son. It was yesterday that Chen Ming had asked the Yu father to ask his employer if he could work as well. The Yu father was more than happy to help Chen Ming, even going so far as to lie to them, stating that Chen Ming is his second son who has been poorly ill for a long time. As it was the Yu father who has asked the person in charge was more than happy to hire someone.

The Yu father, oldest Yu son and Chen Ming were all set with a task that they must carry out throughout the day. The tasks varied from cleaning the floor, was.h.i.+ng clothes and doing other tasks, however, it seemed that Chen Ming has the least amount of work, not only that they all seemed easy too. Cleaning the guest rooms seemed like a challenging job as they didn't specify which guest room, however, when Chen Ming entered into the first one it was already spotless, the floors where so s.h.i.+ny that he could see his reflection. Chen Ming thought that it was just a one-time thing, however, every guest room he went to similar results were soon. There was one more guest room left, and Chen Ming prayed that it was dirty so he can clean it. However, to his dismay, that room was also spotless.

Chen Ming was confused and angry, ' Who set the task of cleaning the guest rooms when their already clean, G.o.d what a waste of time'. Chen Ming thought to himself. As he was complaining in his world, from the corner of his eye he could see the supervisor in charge of the new worker. He was walking towards Chen Ming. Chen Ming thought this would be the best opportunity to tell him about how the room is already clean. However, before he could speak there was a gentle pat on his shoulders. Chen Ming was confused.

" Well done boy, I see you did an outstanding job with the guest rooms, they were spotless and s.h.i.+ny,'' the supervisor said as he carried on gently patting Chen Mings shoulders.

" Sir that wasn't me, I did nothing,'' Chen Ming tried to clarify with the supervisor while trying to get the man hands off his shoulders.

" Nonsense, I seen you do into all the room and when you come out they were all clean,'' the man said as he gripped onto Chen Mings shoulders. The grip on his shoulders was painful and Chen Ming couldn't help but let out a winch. It was after that Chen Ming winched did the man let his grip on Chen Mings shoulder lose.

" Haha, sorry about that boy, anyways you're done for the day you can go home and rest,'' Chen Ming didn't say anything else, just wanting to leave the presence of this man who made his feel weird, as soon as he can. Without saying anything Chen Ming walked off, increasing his pace the further he got from the man, he kept looking back from time to time just in case the man was following him. Not looking in front of him, Chen Ming accidentally b.u.mped into someone. He quickly got up on his feet and apologised. He quickly ran off after. The man Chen Ming had b.u.mped into didn't have much reaction nor did he say anything. However, the people around him thinking of the worse, if their memory serves them right last time someone b.u.mped into his, he gauged their eyes out. The people couldn't help but feel sorry for Chen Ming.

However, to their shock, the man just carried on walking as if nothing happened. The man carried on walking at his own pace while the others were trying to keep up with him. The man finally stopped walking when he came in front of a black and gold door. This was the door to the emperor's chambers. The man turned his head and looked at the people that had followed him, he didn't say anything but the people seemed to know what he was indicating and they quickly excused themselves.

The stern man knocked on the once before the voice inside allowed him to come in. Once inside the room, the man closed the door behind him and kneeled with one knee. There was complete silence in the room, if someone else were to be here they would die from the quietness in the room, however, this was normal for the two of them. The man kneeling on the floor kept his head down towards the floor, it was only after he heard footsteps walking towards him that he lifted his head. In front of him was none other than the Emperor of the Demon Continent.

"Speak", that was the only word that came out of the Emperors mouth. It was a simple word, to most it didn't mean much but when spoken by this man, it was like the whole world cras.h.i.+ng onto of you.

" I have completed the task you have set me, but…" the man kneeling said but stopped midway in his sentence and looked at the Emperor. The Emperor seemed to have noticed the weird look he was giving him and had a bad feeling about it.

"But what? Speak, the Emperor said in a low tone. The tone sent s.h.i.+vers down the man's spine. The man knew whether he told him or not, the Emperor would find out so he decided to tell him himself.

" The supervisor Jin, he… hurt him", the moment the man said that the air in the room seems to have all gone away. The atmosphere in the room was thick making it hard for him to breathe. He didn't want to look at the emperor as he knew what his expression he was making but he did anyway. The emperor's face was dark if looks could kill Supervisor Jin would be 10 feet under the ground.

As the whole ordeal with the Emperor was going on Chen Ming had found Yu father and son and told them that he was allowed to leave.
