Chapter 24 : Relying On Him Part 1

There would be a TV drama award tonight, and because Ye Sui played in the recently famous 《Crown Prince》 drama, she had also received an invitation to this event.

Although Chang Ying was also invited, her face was still bleak, and she had tried a lot of methods to conceal it. Despite doing so, many patches of acne and thick pores were still stubbornly growing on her face.

Pei Ning was originally proud to get into this drama. Thinking that many people wanted to grab this big project, in the end they gave it to her, which fully ill.u.s.trated her good skills.

But upon hearing her manager's words,  Pei Ning's face suddenly sank.

This big movie project actually considering on hiring Ye Sui? That woman was obviously just a small actress, how could such a person like Ye Sui be qualified?

Either this matter was only a baseless rumor, or that Ye Sui might actually have a powerful backer and besides that she also had a relations.h.i.+p with Huarui's top management. In the end, Ye Sui didn't want the role and was given to her instead.  Doesn't that mean that she had just picked up Ye Sui's sc.r.a.ps?

No matter what the possibility was, Pei Ning truly felt insulted. Therefore, she was determined to be better than Ye Sui on this TV drama award show.

Soon the evening came, the TV drama award had not yet begun. The atmosphere was very lively. The fans were around the entrance, holding lights stick in their hands, waving it excitedly and shouting the name of their idol crazily.

Ye Sui was still sitting in the car. She glanced around and caught the sight of fans were holding up the light stick and shone the dark of the night. And she could hear a tiny bit voices calling out her name as she realized that only a few of them belonged to her.

In order to support her, Renjie originally planned to call the staff to come to the scene and pretended to be her fans so that she would not be so embarra.s.sed. But Ye Sui resolutely refused, if Ren Jie did, she would be even more embarra.s.sed.

Before it was Ye Sui's turn to walk the red carpet, Ye Sui just quietly sat inside the car waiting to be called.

After a while, The TV Drama Awards finally begun. The celebrities started walking down the red carpet one after another, and the screams of fans soared several times. The cameras of the media were all aimed at these celebrities, and the “Click click” sounds was incessantly heard.

This time, the red carpet event was broadcast live. After several famous celebrities appeared, everyone was wondering who would next to walk on. “The next person to walk the red carpet seems to be Ye Sui."

At the mention of Ye Sui's name, the anti-fans could not sit still and jumped out to ridicule one after another.

"Ye Sui has always been riding on Chang Ying fame ever since, o you think she will grab the limelight? Ha ha, I tell you, never!"

Everyone was waiting for Ye Sui to make a fool of herself and the cursing were all increasingly outrageous. There was even someone who had prepared his spit so he could spit at Ye Sui when she made her appearance later on.

On the other end of the red carpet, Ye Sui finally appeared. She was dressed in a red dress today with snow-white skin more dazzling than the pearl between her neck.

Her facial features were stunningly exquisite, which attracted everyone's attention without much sketch.

Ye Sui's neck was slightly upturned,  a perfectly slender neck like jade. As she walked slowly, her slender, snow-white slender legs were faintly discernible, causing a slight temptation, but not too charming.

Only Ye Sui who could keep up the dazzling display of this bright red dress. The gathering of the celebrities tonight was doomed to be a spectacular sight, but it seemed to be less than one in ten thousandth compared to Ye Sui.

She was charming people all around. While it could be said that her appearance was not seductive, but it was also not bad. It's just right.

When the white wide screen suddenly flashed, netizens almost thought they had been wronging her.
