The Kings 26 Third Nephew

The table had many different types of vegetables and meats for the hot pot. From thinly shaved beef, fresh noodles, slices of firm tofu and many more. The spicy aroma coming from the boiling pot made my mouth filled with saliva. Sounds gross I know, but I can't help it.

Sadly, I couldn't have any! The inside of my cheeks was on fire whenever I try to chew unless I try eating slowly. Unlike someone who was sitting across from me, guffing the food down like no tomorrow. At this point, it's safe to say he was just swallowing it.

"Slow down," I tapped on my bowl with my chopsticks to get his attention.

"You don... Kno... Ho..." Tang Liang half talked, and half chewed.

It was my turn to give him the look of disgust, "Talk after you finish chewing!"

What he was trying to say was, 'You don't know how long it has been since I last ate like this.' Sigh, the life of a dieting celebrity is such a pain.

I grabbed one rice grain at a time to chew on. I watched on as Tang Liang was using one hand to put meat into the pot while using the other hand to eat. He made me full by just watching him eat and lick all the plates clean.

I did mention that I was not attracted to Tang Liang what so ever, and it's not because of his bottomless stomach. It's hard to be interested in your own nephew, even if we are not related by blood. Although, he refused to acknowledge the fact that I am his "aunt."

Therefore it makes Tang Liang my nephew number three. Why number three? Xue and Xun are my number one and two already! Even though Tang Liang is much much older than them. Plus he hates it when I call him nephew number three.

My family had adopted Tang Liang's father Tang w.a.n.g way before I was born. The Tang family were close to us since my great grandparents time, so when Tang w.a.n.g's parents pa.s.sed away in an accident. My parents did not hesitate to take in Tang w.a.n.g.

Resulting in making Tang w.a.n.g my third eldest brother. Actually, he was supposed to be my second eldest brother, but I heard my second eldest brother refused to be the third young master. Even my first eldest brother was unable to persuade him or scare him into accepting he was the third brother. Tang w.a.n.g being the nice one gave in to my second brother brattiness, by making himself the third young master.

My eldest brother is sixteen years older than me, my second eldest brother is thirty-year-old, and Tang w.a.n.g is thirty-eight-year-old.

The reason why my brothers and I have such a huge age gap is because of my mom. She had a hard time conceiving after my first brother. My second brother came as a surprise that she was able to have another child. Tho, ultimately I was the blessing to my family. Makes me appear like a narcissist, but it's because my family line rarely has any girls.

However, I am not much older than Tang Liang, only by five years. Ah, young love. Tang Liang's mother Su Zhi Rou was pregnant at the age of eighteen. So Tang w.a.n.g got married at nineteen-year-old to his longtime fiancee, Su Zhi Rou.

'Ring, Ring, Ring'

My traitorous best friend decided to give me a phone call. I wouldn't have got into any mess with Mu Yi or Shu Meiying if it wasn't because of him.

"What do you want traitor?" I put my phone on speaker so Tang Liang can get on it as well.

"Look at Shu Meiying's account on Phoria! I knew you always had strong hands."

"Aren't you going to ask if I'm okay?" Is this person really my best friend?

"I know you are! There is no way you'll get hurt... right?" My best friend voice towards the end got soft, unsure if I really was okay.

You're lucky you didn't get to try my hands yet.

I opened up Phoria to find my profile empty, nothing was ever posted since I had created an account. I didn't have any reason to post any photos or write anything, yet. However, all over my newsfeed was filled with Shu Meiying's grievance on what happened today.

Hmm, I crossed my arms and leaned back on my chair. I have a lot of free time on my hand right now, so I decided to give my best friend the inside scoop.

"What! You hit her twice?" He started laughing on the other line. I could tell he wished he could have been there when it had happened. Enjoying the pain of another.

"Feng, you're officially disowned from our three musketeers! Ouch!" I touched my cheek, the cut inside may have ripped bigger.

"Ye... Yeah! Disowned." Tang Liang half-chewed, and repeated what I just said.

"Wah, don't do that my greatest bestest friends!" Feng cried on the other line, "Two against one is not fair!"

Eventually, we came to a stalemate and ended up not kicking out Feng from our trio group.

"I will deal with the mess Shu Meiying made, but I have to go now." Feng sighed heavily, he hated when he had to deal with unnecessary drama.

"No need, I have Hui Yin on it already." I released the phone call, and another one came in immediately. It was not a phone number I had saved down. Carelessly, I picked up the phone call, "h.e.l.lo?"

"Anong, where are you?" A low and familiar voice brought chills down my back.
