The Kings 30 The Woman In The Red Dress

My heart fluttered uncontrollably. This feeling, it was something I haven't felt in a long time. An emotion I had to learn on how to get rid off. I pinched myself on the arm to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

Just to make sure I asked him, "Are you drunk?"

"No... Uhh, actually, I had a few drinks with Rong and Xian." Mu Yi confessed, he was feeling guilty by saying no already. So he might as well tell her the truth.

I ended the phone call. I didn't want to hear what Mu Yi had to say or what he was doing there with a new woman. Yes, I admit. I was scared, terrified that my heart will break again. It took me seven years to have the courage to come back to the country, I don't need another seven years again.

I sent my last text of the night right after putting my phone on silent. I laid on my side staring out the window, the full moon was rather beautiful tonight. I hugged my plump bunny teddy bear tightly before shutting down my body.

Mu Yi stared at his black phone screen that was no longer connected to Anong.

"Mu Yi~, come play with me!" A woman wearing a tight red dress closed the hotel room door. She walked towards Mu Yi who was sitting on the edge of the bed facing the window.

"Who said you can come in?" Mu Yi glared at the shameless woman walking into his hotel room like she was invited.

He only came out because of Feng Rong and Yi Xian. If he didn't go out with them to clear up his head. He might have ended up going on a rampage looking for Anong all night long to find her location. To a point where he saw himself strangling whoever is the man with her.

While drinking with them earlier, he sat by himself on the sofa not allowing any women that were invited by his friends near him.

"Yi, what is wrong with you tonight?" Feng Rong asked, having two women sitting next to him. One was wearing a tight red dress, and the other one wore a black one.

Mu Yi didn't answer him. Instead, he drowned the rest of the wine in the bottle. He needed more alcohol, stronger alcohol to knock him out cold. Mu Yi frowned staring at his phone laying on the table. No, that's not what he needed.

"Ah, I know! It's about the peach blossom woman!" Ye Xian exclaimed. "I'm right, aren't I?"

Feng Rong nodded, so that's what this is all about. "Were you unable to find her?"

"No, I found her." Mu Yi touched his phone still laying on the table, debating if he should try calling Anong again.

"I'm right!" Ye Xian beamed with happiness that he was correct. "Do tell us more. What happened?"

"She ran away." Mu Yi grabbed his phone off the table.

"Again?" Feng Rong was now interested in who this woman was. She didn't want Mu Yi and ran away twice. Oddly, Mu Yi is still chasing after her. Who is she? To have his best friend going after her like crazy.

The woman in the tight red dress kept staring at Mu Yi the whole time. She would occasionally throw flirty glances at him when he chatted with Feng Rong. She knew as long as she was able to capture his attention, she'd be living the good life. She wasn't dumb like Shu Meiying who'll throw a fit in public to destroy Mu Yi's other women. Someone rich and powerful like Mu Yi is bound to have many women around him.

Besides, who hasn't heard of the Mu family? Especially Mu Yi, the heir of the Mu Company, good looking, rich, and holds a certain amount of power in Country Z. Who wouldn't want him? Plus, Mu Yi was alone tonight without anyone at his side right now. This was the perfect chance! If she plays her game correctly, he might just be hers. No, she will make sure he is hers.
