Mu Yi narrowed his eyes at Feng Rong, followed by a deathly glare.

Feng Rong could sense the danger emitting off from Mu Yi. It's true, he is crueler than Mu Yi. However, Mu Yi is scarier than him. "W-wait! When, where, and how did I touch you?"

"Here and here!" I touched my wrist and shoulders, then looked down at my feet as if I didn't want to say anymore. "It happened out there..."

How did she feel violated by having her shoulders and wrist touched? Feng Rong was flabbergasted by her speedy reply without any hesitation. She actually made it look like he did touch her in forbidden places!

"Peach blossom woman, how can you make up such lies!" Feng Rong panicked. He could see the demon inside Mu Yi was itching to come out, more like long ago when he first had his hands on Yun Anong.

"Do you see the danger you're putting me in?" Feng Rong tried clearing up the misunderstanding.

Yes, but did you know the danger you put me in. I can fight off my affection for Mu Yi mentally, except you're putting my physical body in harm way.

"So you won't be responsible for something you did?" I bit my bottom lip then ma.s.saged my wrist, "Oh, my wrist really hurts."

Unexpectedly, Mu Yi held my hand and gave my wrist gentle rubs. "I'll take responsibility for you."

Oh my, that took me by surprise and everyone else in the room. Mu Yi words heated up my face, I did not see this coming. Should I stop messing around with Feng Rong? Honestly, I'm one hundred percent Mu Yi knows I'm messing around, so I can't believe he said those words.

Mu Yi faced Feng Rong with a smirk on his face. He's smiling! Well, sort of a smile. Something was telling me I shouldn't stop anything yet, I want to see what is going to happen next... Though I'll make sure to stop it in time before anything seriously occur.

"Yi, listen..." Feng Rong backed away one step at a time. Mu Yi was seconds away from cornering him. "Peach blossom, please say something! Especially when fate-"

"Brought us together?" I blinked my eyes innocently.

"Ah, you!" Feng Rong gasped, he definitely saw it. The sly smile on Yun Anong's face when she finished his sentence. "Wait, over the rainbow..."

Then back down... Is this what she meant when she had mentioned it? To get him very happy just to bring him down to h.e.l.l. It was h.e.l.l when it was Mu Yi going against him.

"Oh, let's pause this drama. I have to take this call," I held up one finger for them to quiet it down. "h.e.l.lo?"

"Please hurry! He is about to submit the order." Tang Liang's friend begged her to hurry up. "He's doing it! He is really doing it! Stop Liang, give me your phone! I got-"

Tang Liang's friend hung up. I'm a.s.suming he probably pressed the end call b.u.t.ton while trying to wrestle for Tang Liang's phone. I knew his friends or friend could hold him back for at least two minutes at max. It was also all the time I needed to start and end this mini-drama.

"This was fun while it lasted," I put my phone back into my back pocket.

Feng Rong was dumbfounded. Yun Anong suddenly became a different person just like that. What happened to the crying woman who was accusing him of touching her in places? She also picked up that phone call like nothing was about to go down in the room.

"You should be the actress for Yi's new perfume line," Feng Rong tried to jab at her for being a 'great actress', "You'll be better than Shu Meiying."

Of course, I did not take any offense to his comment. It's actually a compliment!

"Heh, stop feeding my already up there ego~!" I laughed, mocking Feng Rong's lousy comeback.

On my way out the door, I made sure put in some last words, "Feng Rong, your expression was 'something amazing' to see. Let's do this again another time! Later~."

Another time? There would be no next time! He almost died because of her little joke. Feng Rong had seriously underestimated her guts. This little demoness.

"Yi, how can you not believe in your own childhood friend!" bawled Feng Rong, who completely forgot about the woman in the black dress. She could have been his witness this whole time.

Mu Yi shrugged his shoulders, "I believed you."

No matter how much of a playboy Feng Rong was, he'll never touch any of his friend's woman.

Feng Rong jaw dropped, "You did? Then why did you..."

Mu Yi grabbed his phone and wallet off the table, "Happy wife, happy life."

Feng Rong thought he misheard it, did the word 'wife' just come out from Mu Yi's mouth. Mu Yi never even said 'girlfriend,' yet he suddenly jumped a whole level to wife? Was this the same Mu Yi he really knew? The one who did not plan to settle down anytime soon?

It was a while back, but he did have a marriage conversation with Mu Yi, only because he got Mu Yi wasted. He really wanted to know what was going on with Mu Yi, out of the blue his best friend became extremely quiet. Mu Yi never wants to go out or play around like he used to anymore. His daily life was work, work, go home, and repeat.

"You can't say you'll never get married," Feng Rong poured more wine into the gla.s.s cup for Mu Yi. He thought the more alcohol Mu Yi drink, the more he'll find out why the sudden change.

"Never," Mu Yi firmly answered, drowning the wine in the gla.s.s cup in one go. "Unless it's..."

"Unless? Unless?" Feng Rong repeated anxiously, he ended up pouring the whole bottle into the gla.s.s cup, "Go on!"

Mu Yi stared at the wine bottle Feng Rong held in his hand. The white label on the bottle had a pink peach blossom flower at the corner, "Peach blossom..."

He couldn't finish his sentence, 'peach blossom was her favorite flower', before knocking out.

"Peach what? Uhhh... You have to finish your sentence!" Feng Rong shook the already knocked out, Mu Yi.

Then he got mad at himself for giving Mu Yi too much alcohol. What is he suppose to find out with peach blossom? Don't tell him Mu Yi was going to marry a tree!
