Coincidence Or Fate Chapter 113

That evening

Annie who was fast asleep with her daughter when she felt a sudden knocked on the door . She wonders who could be knocking by her door at the middle of the night when she checks the door camera system it surprises her to see no one was by the door . Since she was curious who could have knocked by the door, she opened the door and saw no one at all . So she steps outside for a moment to check the hallway but still, no one was around, as she was about to head back inside, it startled her to see a woman seated beside the door crouching down . Of course, the biggest shock was that it was Angelique .

"Ange, what the f*ck you scared me . " she said

However, Angelique seems to be not responding to her .

"Ange, is something wrong . " she crouched down as she tried to face the girl .

"Annie, you were right . . . " she cried

"Ange, what's wrong why are you crying . What do you mean I'm right?" she wondered

"Annie, I saw him today . . . " she added

"Who?" Annie said wonder what's happening to Angelique and who could the person be that cause her to be in such a state .

"Who else . . . " she replied

Annie didn't need to dig deeper to find out who it was since she been around with her for quite a while now the only person who could ever make her cry and ended up so broken would be Scott .

"So he's back, then what's wrong?" she asked

"He brought a girl home . . . " she cried

"Ah-" Annie became speechless and didn't know what to do . It surprises her to find out Scott have moved on and even decided to bring a girl back home . Could he really have moved on or could Angelique just misunderstand the situation?

"Mommy . . . "

Annie turned around seeing the little girl standing by the door holding onto her teddy bear, she was still half asleep and yawning at the same time, "Why is Auntie Angie here?"

"Baby, go back inside and sleep mommy will be there soon," she replied

"Alright Mommy, Good night Auntie Angie," she said

"Sleep tight Little Bun . . . " Angelique said despite she didn't dare show her face to her .

"Ange, why don't you come in for some hot tea," Annie said since it was quite cold outside despite they were inside a building

"Annie, it's fine . . . I think I should be going now . . . " she replied as she got up after calming herself down .

Annie watched as Angelique walked away before Angelique could further her distance Annie spoke up, "Ange, it's not the end of the world . Reality may have hit you hard all of the sudden and I know you're having a hard time understanding the current situation . But Ange, I'm sorry to say this but it's partly your fault . When those who were trying to express their love to you all this time yet you were bitter and ignorant towards it . " Annie sighed realizing her words were quite harsh . "I know I sound like a b*tch but I'm just telling you the truth . Honestly, Scott has been there for you too since the start but the fact you both hold a grudge towards each other is the reason why things ended up this way . Both of you could not move on from what happened in the pa.s.s . You yourself is willing to hold onto the burden despite it's killing you deep inside, while Scott that idiot wishes to be with you but couldn't because of the trauma you've done to him . "

Angelique did not turn around nor move, she continued to listen to Annie words as tears in her eyes started to fall again .

"Ange, face it . . . You've loved him since then . You may keep saying Jamie is your first love and you still like him but the truth is Scott was your first love, he was the first guy you took seriously despite fooling around with other . I may not be around to witness what happened that night but I felt like he did something to you that scared you didn't he that's why you couldn't move on . "

Angelique turned around with an upset expression on her face and a regretful smile, "Yet he thinks Jamie is the one . . . "

Annie was speechless hearing Angelique finally spoke up about the past . She may not have spoken a lot but at least a small burden on her has finally been lifted . She watched as the girl continues to walked away, she could not believe she actually hit where it should pain the most for her . Annie took a deep breath as she realizes how painful Angelique life has been, she could not stop wonder though who the girl Scott brought and could it really be his partner?
