The Ram-horned Demon's gaze swept towards Elizabeth and Selma. With a flash of greed in its eyes, it said, "I hadn't noticed these two good-looking women. But, now that you've mentioned them, I can sell them for a lot of money!"
Demons had evolved from human beings. Therefore, its aesthetic appreciation was similar to that of a human being's. The higher the level of a demon, the more it wanted to retain the appearance of a human being to show its n.o.bility and charm.
Moreover, demons were very compet.i.tive and vain. As such, they liked to collect handsome men and beautiful women to keep as pets.
As such, Elizabeth and Selma could fetch a very good price at the demon's base. If their talents were also good enough to serve as fighting slaves, their price would even be higher!
Steve's eyes flashed cold, as he could not accept anyone having designs towards Elizabeth.

"The three of them have not even achieved 100% cell activation yet, so it would be very easy for us to catch them," the Ram-horned Demon laughed and said. "You take care of the young lad. Leave these two to me."
In the eyes of the Ram-horned Demon, Elizabeth and Selma were like livestock, which he could easily round up.

"Deal!" the Ram-horned Demon said with a laugh.
"You two beautiful slaves, just follow me obediently," the Ram-horned Demon said, then let out a crow-like laughter, while his wings fanned directly at the Matrix Chariot.
The creature held bright blue lights in its left hand, as it grasped the condensed original force in its right hand. As such, it looked like five fire-flaming swords were tearing directly into the Matrix Chariot.
On the other side, the Gray Fiery Lion looked as if it was culling food. It rushed towards Steve with a flame condensed in its big mouth. Then, a large fireball spurted out, its burning flame burning all of the flowers and plants on the ground.
"I'm their target. There must be more than just the two of them out to get me. We must kill them before their counterparts rush over," Steve said, displaying a ruthless look.
They would only attract more magical beasts here if this were to drag on much longer. Facing two Original-level magical beasts was already a big headache, and it would be worse if more were to arrive!
At this moment, Selma turned the Matrix Chariot and pointed the laser cannon at the Ram-horned Demon.
"Bug-like demon! F**k a duck!" Selma swore loudly, then fired the cannon once more.

However, the Ram-horned Demon was prepared for this. He immediately lifted up a bronze s.h.i.+eld, which was engraved with black inscriptions that looked like a hungry demon. The bronze s.h.i.+eld became bigger and bigger. Then, it instantly turned into a steel wall, towering directly in front of the Ram-horned Demon!

The laser beam bombarded the bronze s.h.i.+eld, its clas.h.i.+ng impact sounding like a big bell being rung. Sparks burst out on the top of the s.h.i.+eld, as the special metal blocked the disintegrating light energy from the laser cannon.
Under the impact of the powerful force, the bronze s.h.i.+eld was pushed backwards. It now also had many cracks on it.
After a while, the laser beam was exhausted. The runes on the bronze s.h.i.+eld were also fading, and the cracks that lined it looked like pieces of gla.s.s fragments.
However, the Ram-horned Demon did not reveal any signs of heartache upon seeing the sad state the s.h.i.+eld was in. This was because he knew that the kind of damage that the s.h.i.+eld had sustained could easily be restored.
"Beautiful slaves, just be good and stop resisting," the Ram-horned Demon said with a laugh.
Selma's face turned pale and her eyes were full of shock. The laser cannon on the Matrix Chariot could kill an Original-level magical beast, but did not cause any damage to the Ram-horned Demon!
Elizabeth looked troubled and said, "His s.h.i.+eld is going to break. Let's give him another shot!"
"No. There's no more power..." Selma looked like she was about to cry, then shouted, "The shot we took just now used up all of the power!"

Selma pulled out a black lightning bomb and pointed it directly at the Ram-horned Demon. The lightning directly locked down the Ram-horned Demon at an amazing speed. The speed was so fast, it was hard for the naked eye to catch it.

The Ram-horned Demon was struck by the lightning, which turned its body black. It was also wounded on its abdomen.
"Darn animals! How dare you hurt me?" The Ram-horned Demon was obviously very angry.
