The instructors and officers began discussing matters once again, most of them still did not believing in Steve's capabilities. They were all thinking that, once Steve lost, Antonio and the others would be able to s.h.i.+ft the power on the battlefield, thus being able to defeat the entire recruit camp.
The first battlefield has become a war of attrition, and it would be difficult to distinguish the winner from the loser within a short period of time. Hence, the battle of Steve and the five veterans would be a crucial deciding factor.
If they were able to decide the winner and loser within a short period of time, it would affect the entire group battle. Of course, if they were unable to do this, the longer they delayed, the more it would eventually turn into a war of attrition once again.
"Steve, it's amazing that your batch of recruits has been able to fight against us to such an extent." Antonio sighed.

Steve struggled fiercely, but the two muddy hands that grabbed his feet were so st.u.r.dy, he was unable to break free within a short period of time. Looking at the lightning punch that was snaking towards him along the pavement, Steve no longer cared about any senior-junior relations.h.i.+p.
"Silver Shark Armor!" he screamed in a panic. The Silver Shark Armor quickly enveloped him, as six Ice Wing Flying Knives quickly a.s.sembled in front of him and formed an Ice Wing s.h.i.+eld.

The Lightning punch landed on the s.h.i.+eld, and the energy s.h.i.+eld formed by the Ice Wing s.h.i.+eld blocked the attack.
"The battle has just begun!" Antonio's voice suddenly came from the side.

As he spoke, a rainbow light reflected off the blade of a red steel forged knife, just as it was slas.h.i.+ng down! When the blade touched the energy s.h.i.+eld, it broke past the energy s.h.i.+eld easily, as if it was slicing through a thin piece of paper.
"Energy Ablation Device!" Steve shouted, his face grim.
Since energy s.h.i.+elds existed, there would naturally be weapons to counter them. These devices could offset the energy of the s.h.i.+elds directly, thus enabling them to pose a defense against the majority of all energy s.h.i.+elds.
Steve pulled out the Ghost Hunter's Blade and slashed it directly across the falling big red knife. When two weapons collided, the sharp metal of the Ghost Hunter's Blade made a big dent in the Rainbow Knife.
Antonio's eyebrows furrowed when he saw that Steve's equipment was actually even better than his!
"Step aside captain, let me go up against him!" Benson shouted, as he suddenly turned into a huge metal ball, rolling and crus.h.i.+ng forward like an unstoppable chariot!
Antonio was unable to finish off Steve in one move, so he pulled back immediately. Benson then charged at Steve from behind. Although Steve was wearing armor, he did not dare go against the ball-shaped Benson directly.
"Mountain Shaking Robot come on out!" he shouted, as a huge brown and yellow robot came down from the sky.
Its whole body seemed to be made of rocks and was extremely strong. From the outside, it looked more like tall rock giant!

The Mountain Shaking Robot blocked the path in front of Steve, spreading its big hands and holding the metal ball that had just been charging towards him. As Benson was blocked, his metal skin gradually faded back into normal skin, while his hands and feet grew out of the ball and his body became more than four meters tall.

"He still has robots!" Antonio's expression became gloomy.
Before the battle started, they realized that Steve had given Sofia and Lucy equipment. They thought that Steve would not have such expensive pieces of equipment anymore, but unexpectedly, he still had some left!
The Mountain Shaking Robot was still blocking Benson's path. Although they were unable to decide on the victor and the loser within a short amount of time, their combat power was equivalent having one less person.
"We can't afford for this to drag on! We must defeat him now!" Antonio shouted.
Rex's entire body erupted in lightning, as if he had become the G.o.d of Lightning. Thunder and lightning surged toward Steve and flashes of lightning were even zapping towards him!
"Do you think I'll just sit here and wait for death?" Steve's sword slashed at the two cement hands at his feet, and the sharp blades of the swords cut through them directly.
"Ah!" Parkes screamed in the distance, while two streaks of blood appeared on his hands.
"Mimetic weapons! Lightning Rod!" he shouted. The mimetic weapon rose to the sky and became a lightning rod that was flying in mid-air, absorbing all of the lightning power in the sky.
"Trying to break my lightning world with just a lightning rod? Watch as I destroy it!" Rex shouted and rose straight into the sky. One of his hands was holding the lightning rod in mid-air, as he was about to break it.
Steve smiled and controlled the mimetic weapon with his thoughts...

Suddenly, the mimetic weapon started flowing like liquid and became an image of Steve. It then grabbed Rex's big hand in one hand and smashed his fist directly into Rex's face with the other.
"It was just a lightning rod, so how did it suddenly become a doppelganger of him?" Rex was shocked. However, before he could figure out the reason….

The mimetic weapon hit Rex's face with a punch! Rex's face was immediately deformed and he fell to the ground.
