Chidori at the side didn't say anything as she didn't know the complete history behind the trio and thus didn't find it appropriate for her to speak.

"It saddens me to see that you have to live in this type of hovel" commented Souta suddenly Draig cast a dismissive glance towards him, he didn't care for this type of person either. He knew that Souta had wors.h.i.+pped him, he could see it in the way he acted and looked towards him but the person left the moment things seemed to be going downhill.

"It sickens me to see you here" spat Draig letting his displeasure be known.

Souta heard the words and flinched visibly, he knew that what he did was wrong but like everyone else he had thought the Feratu lost his powers. The Unaffiliated needed a strong backing and with Draig having supposedly lost his powers there was no backing for them and thus they all left.

Ari and Yuki didn't say anything for a moment.

"So it seems that you still possess your powers though you lost your Avatar, that is fortunate" started Yuki.

"I suppose it is, so tell me what is the real reason you came here." stated Draig causing the two girls to perk up a bit.

"Like we said, we had heard about your situation and wanted to help you. With that said we wanted to see if you would like to join the Mugen faction, that way you don't have to worry about old enemies coming to clear their feud with you while you are weakened" smiled Ari while Yuki nodded, Souta looked hopeful while Keiko had a scheming look in her eyes.

"Let them come, I will maim and slaughter any that wish me harm" scoffed Draig causing the group to frown.

"What if you can't" asked Yuki as she presented the 'if' situation.

"Why wouldn't I" asked Draig simply causing Yuki to show a bit of frustration.

"They might be stronger than you" grunted the girl.

"None of my enemies are stronger than me, those who are stronger than me won't bother with me because just as you do they think I have lost my powers. There is no merit in beating a dead horse" answered Draig causing the group to just stare at him.

He was certain that no one would find a reason to fight him at the moment simply because it wouldn't provide them with any benefits. Those that did come were only looking for material gains and they were merely low cla.s.s weaklings in his eyes.

"What if I said that if you don't take this opportunity then the Mugen faction will become your Enemy" stated Keiko all of a sudden causing Ari and Yuki to look at her in shock.

"Are you really that desperate to try and get me under your thumb" asked Draig with a sneer.

"It's not a threat to get you under my thumb, it is for the resources that you kept after your faction members left. Those supplies are useful to my Faction, it does no good for a single person to h.o.a.rd so many resources by themselves." stated Keiko as she smiled.

"Then you are threatening me in order to take what is mine" asked Draig to clarify.

"No, it is no threat. If you don't give me the supplies that you have then the Mugen Faction will become your enemy." answered Keiko.

"I see, then you leave me no choice" started Draig as his skin began to turn black and his hybrid form was shown.

"I will destroy the Mugen faction and kill any who get in my way" finished Draig as he stepped through the door way of his small dwelling.

Keiko hadn't expected this type of response.

"Souta hasn't told you who the secret behind taking out the Spliced Faction I take it" asked Draig as his smile became that of a demon in this form.

"My Faction never lifted a finger except when it was time to load up their supplies, in one sweep I slaughtered dozens of them. If you don't believe me then ask him for yourself, he was there after all. Standing at the side like a useless prop" started Draig as he clawed hands flexed causing the joints to pop everytime they did so.

Keiko looked towards Souta as if to confirm the words only to receive a nod, but he had something to add.

"However the technique he used shouldn't be possible since he no longer has access to his avatar" stated Souta only to catch himself when Draig grabbed his Rapier and the Avatar of a Brush appeared.

"Then what do you call this" chuckled Draig as Souta felt himself grow faint.

He was now second guessing his decision of switching Factions, everything he had been told about Draig being weakened or losing his powers was being shown as false in this moment.

"I am still a Faction slayer, I have just come to enjoy my silence. Though if you truly wish to make an enemy of me today then your Faction won't exist tomorrow" stated Draig as Keiko began to back away again.

She slowly started to realize that there was no way for her to beat Draig, anything she said, anything she did. It was instantly countered by him or he had a solution for it.

"Draig wait, she didn't mean it. You know how she is, it doesn't have to be like this" interrupted Ari as she knew of Draig's powers with runes though they didn't know Draig's ability to use them was currently unavailable.

"From the way she was speaking it seems this is the only way this can be, isn't that right . . . . Keiko" asked Draig glaring directly into Keiko's eyes.

"I-It doesn't, I didn't mean it. I'm sorry please" cried Keiko as tears began to well up in her eyes, the moment she had looked into Draig's eyes it was as if she was seeing herself killed on repeat. Death didn't scare her but the scene of the person before her slowly eating her alive was something she couldn't handle.

She wished she hadn't opened her mouth at this moment, any plans she had for Draig's supplies had vanished but Draig didn't seem willing to let up.

"Draig. . . enough" called Yuki stepping in front of Keiko.

"Then leave, any member of the Mugen Faction trespa.s.ses onto these grounds" stated Draig motioning to the walls that encompa.s.sed the large yard of the old estate.

"Will die" finished Draig as he returned to his normal form and ignored any further words.

"Chidori, brew some tea. . ." stated the Feratu as he returned to his room and continued his meditation.
