The System Of A Vampire 4 Real Enchanter Pt 3

A week had pa.s.sed since Draig began his nocturnal training, as it progressed he began to spend more and more time sleeping. It was odd though as even though he slept his form became more defined and his hair slowly became purer in its shade and grew to take on a snowy tint.

Dracule hovered above the young Feratu with a pleased look, while it may have been hard for others to tell it was all too obvious to Dracule's eyes. His young heir was growing tremendously under the tutelage of the Founder, Dracule seemed to reminisce for a moment to a distant time before snapping back to attention.

Dracule looked towards the sky and quickly dissipated while mentally cursing. Just as he disappeared the cloaked figure of Zarra arrived in the room and looked at Draig warily.

'Is it just the kid sleeping' wondered Zarra as he moved closer to investigate.

Looking closer he noticed the changes and felt his blood run with a chill for a moment, quickly moving his hand in a special formation he slammed his hand into Draig's chest instantly waking the young Feratu.

Upon opening his eyes Draig was angered but seeing the familiar cloak and realizing Dracule wasn't the one who had woken him he immediately turned a glare towards Zarra.

"Why are you here this time Mage" demanded Draig his glare becoming more scathing.

"I saved your life just now" shot Zarra as if expecting the response.

"You didn't" answered Draig pus.h.i.+ng the mage away from him.

"How would you know kid, do you know what you were doing. The amount of Dark energy coming from you was off the charts." stated Zarra with an incredulous look.

"It's happened before" responded Draig looking less than interested in Zarra's worry.

"What do you mean it's happened before" demanded Zarra narrowing his eyes.

"Simple, each time this happens it leads to me awakening another aspect of my Vampire physique. In other words you prevented an important process in me growing" shot Draig growling a bit.

Zarra snorted before turning and exiting through a rift without saying another word but on the inside he wore a smirk knowing that he had prevented what was actually happening. However after he left the wispy form of Dracule rose from Draig's shadow.

"Stupid meddling mortal" spat Dracule before charging into Draig's body.

Draig began squirming in pain as the mist from before began swirling around his head again but its rhythm from before seemed to have become more rushed and turbulent. Another aspect that was different was Draig's eyes were wide open during the process. Looking closely his eyes began to turn crimson and as this happened his skin began to turn paler looking as if it was flawless marble.

The crude claws on his began to change and become more refined looking elegant, finally his canines became a bit more p.r.o.nounced and finally his hair had become pure silver.

As the process seemed to come to an end Draig fell to the floor his eyes wide open, as he stared into the distance his gaze seemed to become more ancient. Dracule drifted out of Draig's chest and stared at the young Feratu curiously, he was unsure if Draig would be able to come back from rus.h.i.+ng the process but because of the formation set by Zarra it would've been impossible to continue the process as before.

Draig eventually closed his eyes but it seemed as if he was only sleeping, Dracule eventually let out a breath of relief. It was a gamble on his part but he hoped that it had paid out now that the hard part was out of the way.

'You got to live boy, I already spent too much of my remaining life force on you' thought Dracule as he watched Draig slumber soundly.

Slowly time began ticking by and Draig seemed as if he would never wake up, soon the days turned to weeks and the weeks into months, and then it happened with a jolt on the tenth month of his slumber. His eyes opened slowly and the crimson gleam to them seemed as if they could mesmerize the heavens.

"Your awake" stated Dracule looking at Draig as if debating something.

"So what have you learned" continued Dracule after a moment.

Draig looked towards Dracule and snorted in disdain.

"I learned it all, though I cant use most of it for the moment. My magic reserves are too minuscule to afford the costs of those spells but my blood is purified now and can safely use some of the abilities of the the branch families." reported Draig while leaving out a few key things.

Dracule seemed to smile though it wasn't clear due to his wispy form.

"Excellent then do you know what our next phase should be" asked Dracule.

"Shut up" stated Draig looking at Dracule apathetically.

"What did you say" asked Dracule dazed by the response but before he could say anything else series of letters that looked similar to the Vampire language wrapped around him.

Dracule quickly tried to decipher and break the enchantment but he found that he didn't recognize the symbols causing his mind to swirl.

"I know things even you don't know" stated Draig coolly.

As Draig spoke the other half of the runes finally pulled something from outside the farm, the runes then brought Dracule and the item together and then there was a flash of light. The item landed in Draig's hand and it was revealed to be a pumpkin and you could hear a garbled noise coming from it.

Revealing his hand Draig's Enchanted Knife began doing it's work and soon a face was carved on the pumpkin and its contents emptied and then finally a candle put inside however the flame quickly turned green and a familiar voice started coming from the jack-o-lantern.

"How could you do this to me, your own grandfather" demanded Dracule.

"During the process a little bit of your spirit ended up fusing with me as well, I know you were planning to make me a host for yourself" stated Draig with a chuckle.

"Then why not kill me" asked Dracule.

"I don't possess the power currently but I do possess an ability you don't and a bit of knowledge you don't, in that regard this was the safest option" answered Draig as he picked up the seeds taken from the possessed pumpkin.

"Then what about when you are strong enough to kill me, will it really be worth it? I mean by that time I would insignificant to you and unworthy of your time." started Dracule but was cut off by Draig.

"Simple, I will destroy you" answered Draig which caused Dracule to begin to panic, he didn't want to die and he didn't want to be a pumpkin either but he'd rather live as a pumpkin than die.

"Draig listen, or should I say Lord Draig. It would be a waste to destroy me, think about it as I am currently I may not be able to do much but if you give me a chance I a.s.sure I could serve you well" rushed Dracule.

Draig seemed to think for a minute before he motioned his hand to the barn in the distance, he remembered seeing something appropriate for his needs there before. A few moments pa.s.sed before a scarecrow came in through the window.

Draig picked up Dracule and jammed him onto the scarecrows body before casting another enchantment bonding the the body to the head. Soon the process finished and Dracule experimentally moved the scarecrow body before kneeling before Draig humbly.

"From today onward I am no longer Dracule Feratu, I am now your loyal servant Dracule Lantern" stated Dracule comically.

Draig just nodded before grabbing a piece of paper and handing the list to Dracule.

"Gather these things, it's time for the world to see" ordered Draig with a smirk.

"See what Lord" asked Dracule a bit inspired.

"A Real Enchanter" stated Draig with a chuckle.
