While being pushed by Gu Tong to leave, Xin Siyue was still puzzled. She really wasn't trying to fool anyone, so what do they want her to say?

While leading the way, Xin Siyue was deep in thought, so she didn't say a word. Of course, the most important reason for her silence was that she didn't want to talk to Chen Sinan.

But Chen Sinan wanted to talk with her! Although he could see her walk quickly ahead without looking back, he couldn't help but glance at her back a couple of times. When he couldn't take it anymore, Chen Sinan finally lengthened his stride to walk up to her side.

a.s.sistant w.a.n.g saw the whole thing from the back, his eyes widening from shock; then he purposely put a little distance between the couple and himself. He had to pretend that he didn't see the boss's embarra.s.sing moment.

Xin Siyue noticed something unusual after walking a few steps, she looked at Chen Sinan out of the side of her eye and frowned, “What are you doing?”

Chen Sinan countered, “How are you going to answer your cla.s.smate's question?”

“What question?” Xing Siyue said without a care.

Chen Sinan gaze deepened as he looked at her.

Xin Siyue vaguely thought it might be that question concerning him. But that question doesn't even need any brain cells. She answered without thinking, “I will tell the truth.  You don't have to worry, this is not Shengjin City. I'm not dumb enough to tie myself to you. Oh yeah, you also don't have to worry, I won't destroy your innocence.”

Upon hearing her words, Chen Sinan stopped and sneered, "Xin Siyue, do you know how you will meet your end?"

Hearing him, Xin Siyue stopped and turned back to look at him in terror.

Chen Sinan felt his emotions finally settle down, so he continued walking. While walking, he said, "Because of your obliviousness!"

Xin Siyue rolled her eyes, she really wants to grab a brick and throw it on his head! Humph! Why are you so proud of yourself?

I must tolerate him! Xin Siyue told herself to bear with it! She just needed to bring him to the lab building and then make a quick getaway.

When they arrived at their destination, the princ.i.p.al came out to welcome Chen Sinan.

When Xin Siyue saw Chen Sinan being surrounded by everyone, she withdrew quickly, while they were all cl.u.s.tered around him. She looked back at Chen Sinan cautiously during her escape, and thought, 'He's indeed the male lead. He always has the halo effect surrounding him. The author had to be his biological mother!'

While Xin Siyue was looking back, she wasn't paying attention to the path and almost hit the person in front of her. Good thing that this time she didn't throw herself on to someone's chest. Xia Qiao reacted quickly, holding on to her shoulder and moved her gently a little distance away.

Xin Siyue realizing that she almost hit him again, apologized immediately, “I forgot to pay attention to the path.”

“Yeah, I know.” Xia Qiao said, smiling, “This wasn't the first time.”

Xing Siyue felt awkward. The corners of her mouth curved into an apologetic smile, then she changed the topic and asked, “Is it starting?”

“Wait for about 10 more minutes.”

"Okay."

The two of them had already met in the library. After that encounter, they saw each other a few more times afterward. Xiao Qiao was easy to get along and fun to talk to. With all of that, the two of them gradually became closer.

Xia Qiao examined her red Chinese-styled dress and praised, "Not bad, very pretty."

Xin Siyue responded with a smile, "Thank you, I'm still not used to it yet."

"Is it your first time wearing it?"

"Kind of."

"If you have a chance, you should wear it more often. It looks very nice."

Xin Siyue smiled.

Because the two of them had to do things afterward, they separated after talking for a bit.

While searching for Xin Siyue's figure in the crowd, Chen Sinan saw Xin Siyue talking sweetly to Xia Qiao. He immediately narrowed his eyes. She had never shown him such a pure and sweet smile!
