However, Senja could tell that his expression turned rigid.

"How if you b.u.mp onto him?" She tried to reason with him, she was really worry, not only Xiao Tianyao, but Xiao Jun also would come, despite he would be a little bit late, but the two brothers would be here and many officers.

"Then there will be a fight." Gong Xu said lightly with a shrug.

Senja had heard the story about Luna's death, and she didn't know how to give a proper reaction for that.

That was a tragedy. 

Gong Xu couldn't make a move toward Xiao Tianyao because he didn't want to do any harm on the man that his sister loved, but he couldn't bear it when he saw the person who had killed his sister also.

The worse thing was, Xiao Tianyao didn't even remember anything about that and a.s.sumed Gong Xu was the one who had killed his wife. He even raised his own forced and spent years to find Gong Xu

However, it wasn't fair for Xiao Tianyao as well, because when he killed Luna, he was under influence of Modama.

Senja couldn't imagine how Xiao Tianyao would react the moment he knew, he was the cause of his wife's death.

Everything was chaotic.

"Please, just avoid him, can you?" Senja pleaded. She was nervous. Not only Xiao Tianyao, his grandfather would be there as well, if the fight broke between Xiao Tianyao and Gong Xu, of course her grandfather would take the prince's side.

And then what would happen to Gong Xu if half of the city were against him? As the shadow guard and Xiao Tianyao's crescent moon would be there.

"I have something to do."

"Can't you postpone that?"

"This is important."

"But… wait!" Senja wanted to grab his sleeves to make him stay, however, Gong Xu easily avoided her and went out of the room from the other side of the door that channeled to the city directly.

Senja stomped her feet annoyingly, but her heart couldn't feel at ease, she felt something bad would happen. She hoped it wasn't the thing that she was thinking now.

When Senja stepped out of the library almost half of the guest had come and was enjoying their food, some of them were sightseeing inside the mansion.

Fortunately Senja's courtyard and the library were far from the crowd and the wedding event.

"You just come out now!!?"

A sharp tone of voice greeted her when she walked closer to the main building. The red decorations all over this place was so breathtaking when the light of the sunset bathed them in orange color.

Senja turned around and found Rindy was holding a plate filled with food, she was with her two loyal friends. 

"Don't you think my sister's wedding is not important, so you could come and go as you wish?!" Rindy made a sharp remark.

Actually it was Elder Dam's idea, he said it was fine for Senja even if she didn't attend the wedding, because Elder Dam was still holding a grudge toward Carye and her daughters for what had happened three years ago. If it wasn't because Senja herself who said that Carye didn't have any involvement of her missing, Elder Dam would have thrown her out of the mansion and created feud toward Carye's family.

No matter how much w.a.n.g Yu favored her.

Probably because of that also Carye was slightly holding back to find trouble with Senja, she even didn't apologize and pretended nothing happened as if she has really nothing to do with that.

"I am talking to you." Rindy shouted at Senja while two of her friends were trying to bring her away.

They had never met with Senja, but her reputation as the Young Miss from Black Sword Clan was well known. It was very rare for people to see her, because she didn't like to socialize herself with the other.

Though she was still young, but her name was on people lips.

In every girl eyes within Senja's age, she was a mysterious figure, thus the two Rindi's friends were a little bit afraid to offend her.

"I am talking to you! Don't you hear me!?" Rindi was upset because of something and she tried to vent out her anger toward Senja, out of habit. It was true that the old habit died hard.

In the other hand, Senja was not in good mood to deal with her as she simply ignored her and just walked away, pretending she heard nothing.

However, Rindi apparently has different thought, she outran Senja and stood before her eyes arrogantly.

Because of Rindi's movement some cookies on her plate fell on the ground, she blocked her way.

"Grandfather said, it is not necessary for me to attend this wedding as your Sister threw a party in this mansion was against grandfather's will." Senja said plainly. "I can be anywhere that I want, this is my mansion after all. If you want to complain, you can go and find grandfather instead."

"You!" Rindy was so angry with Senja's words, she attempted to point out her finger toward Senja's cam face, but her movement only caused the remaining cookies on the plate, fell to the ground, now she was only holding an empty plate. "Take those cookies now!"

Senja raised her eyebrows, this was the first time Rindy acted this way again after the calm of three years.

The two friends of Rindy tried to calm her and brought her away, but Rindy was just too stubborn to listen to them.

"I don't want." Senja said curtly before she walked away, but Rindy caught her hand and twisted her wrist.

As Senja cried out in pain the two shadow guards suddenly appeared beside her and grabbed Rindy's hand, forced her to let her go.

"Young Miss Senja, are you all right?" One of the shadow guards asked her.

"I am fine, but please tell my grandfather about this." Senja said while staring straight at Rindy's eyes, so she could see the fear that crept inside them.

"Senja, don't do that! If grandfather knows…" Rindi's voice faltered, she remembered the punishment that she had received from Elder Dam and shuddered.

"What if he knows?" Senja asked coldly and swatted Rindi's hand that was about to reach onto her again.

The wedding party lasted until late at night and during that party, Senja's eyes were on Xiao Tianyao and her grandfather, afraid if they suddenly received any news regarding Gong Xu, or Gong Xu was careless enough to reveal himself in front of them.

She knew the grudge that Gong Xu was holding against Xiao Tianyao, but in Senja's point of view, that wasn't totally his fault as he had killed his own wife under someone influence, but it was hard for Gong Xu to accept that, though he knew the truth.

However, seeing by his own eyes how Xiao Tianyao had killed Luna was two different things, between reality and something that he knew.

Senja only could sigh in relieved when the party ended and some of the guests had returned to their respective room or back to their inn at the city.

Xiao Tianyao would stay inside the mansion as well as Xiao Jun and his wife, Qianru, they also brought along Xiao Mugi, Xiao Tianyao's only son with Luna.

In another word, Xiao Mugi was Gong Xu's nephew. He was only three years old and his face was exactly the copy of Xiao Tianyao.

Qianru was holding Xiao Mugi when she whispered something to Xiao Jun and Xiao Tianyao before she left while the two brothers were having a conversation with Elder Dam and w.a.n.g Yu.

Senja decided to follow after Qianru.

"Is he Xiao Mugi?" Senja asked when she was close enough to greet Qianru. "Good evening Princess Xiao."

"Good evening… Senja." Qianru a bit hesitated, but she recognized Senja immediately because of her white dress that stand out among the various color of the guests. "Yes, he is Xiao Mugi, I will just put him inside his room because he had fallen asleep during the party." She explained softly.

"Why don't you let the servants do that, I saw there were many maidservants around. Do you want me to call one for you?" Senja asked.

"You are too kind, but no need for the trouble our courtyard is not too far." Qianru rejected Senja's offer.

"Then, would you mind if I walk you to your courtyard?"

Qianru smiled softly, she was indeed so beautiful, but rumored said it that she couldn't bear a child for Xiao Jun, that was why there was quite an uproar among Xiao Jun's supporter.

Senja knew all of that from Gong Xu, he always shared everything with her after all.

"Of course not, I will love to have you accompany me." Qianru said politely with Xiao Mugi fast asleep in her arms.

Ever since she visited Xiao Tianyao's mansion and saw Xiao Mugi, she just couldn't take her eyes from him, only if her child also alive, she or he would be around Xiao Mugi's age. The only thing that she regretted the most.

Probably because of that she grown attached to this little boy.

The guards along the way would pay respect on both Senja and Qianru as they walked past them.

Both of them walked together while enjoying the view and the warm wind that blew from the north, seemingly summer would come early.

They didn't talk much as Senja and Qianru were very taciturn, moreover they didn't really familiar with each other.

"Thank you for accompany me." Qianru thanked Senja when they arrived at her courtyard.

"No need to thank me…" Senja smiled softly, like a mature lady. "But, if you don't mind, can I have a little chat with you inside?" Her eyes shone expectantly.

Qianru was confused with this girl request, but it didn't appear on her face as she kept her smile and invited Senja to come inside the courtyard.

"I will put down Mugi first." Qianru excused herself and went to the other room, leaving Senja alone inside the pavilion.

The warm wind blew past Senja's face as she looked up to the clear night sky.

This far, everything was fine and nothing weird happened, Gong Xu must have return at this time. Everything seemed all right and Senja could finally breathe a sigh of relieved.

However her relief didn't continue for long when she heard Qianru's scream and four guards suddenly appeared from the dark and then dashed toward the room where Qianru was in with Xiao Mugi.

Upon seeing this, Senja's heart skipped a beat as she saw the familiar figure was holding Xiao Mugi with one hand while his other hand was holding a sword firmly.

Senja could recognize that man and his sword. Of course she knew, she would know even with half of his face was covered with black mask.

The four guards and the intruder, who was holding the baby, moved their fight to the yard.

Senja could see it clearly that it was Gong Xu! What he was doing here!? Kidnapped his own nephew! Hadn't she told him to be careful because there were many people who held a grudge toward him?

Why he became so impulsive like this?!

Now, Senja was witnessing Gong Xu fought the four crescent moon members. She had seen Gong Xu fought more people than this, but the four of them were not any ordinary guards, they were trained by Xiao Tianyao himself.

On the other side, Qianru was crying and screaming when the swords clashed with each other and only a few inches away from Xiao mugi. The maid servants were trying to calm her with no avail.

"Jun! Save Mugi!" Qianru shouted out loud when she saw Xiao Jun, behind him it was Xiao Tianyao.
