Reborn In The Narutoverse 24 Team 7 Alpha An Beta!?

Everyone was confused, "This year there will be 6 people in one team, and a lieutenant joining your team captain." The cla.s.s room exploded, when Iruka waved his hand, "Calm down, most missions can still be carried out as three man teams, but the reason the Hokage did this was too get you guy's to train together and have the option of exchanging techniques!"

"Are you saying that the Hokage wants us to exchange our Clan's secrets?" One of the students asked, "n.o.body's saying that, the Hokage is simply giving you guy's the option to share. For instance, the Ino–s.h.i.+ka–Chō formation is used by the members of the Yamanaka, Nara, and Akimichi clan members, they designed it as a result of their long history of teamwork and studying each other's techniques, and believe me they know one another's Jutsus like the backs of their hands. The reason the Hokage is doing this is for you to make new and more powerful formations of your own."

Kibo shook his head and thought, "Well this is certainly unexpected." When suddenly s.h.i.+kamaru asked a question, "What will we do for the Chunin exams, I heard only three Nin to a team can enter." Iruka responded in delight "This is why there is a lieutenant joining your squad as well, when the time comes for the Chunin Exams you will be split up into two teams and the lieutenant will become your temporary team captain, until you become a Chunin, or fail the exam."

Iruka then said, "As a team of 6 you can also take on higher ranking missions, but that's only if your team captain deems you're ready."

Iruka began reading off names in pairs of 3 team members at a time, both forming an alpha team, and a beta team. When it came time for team 7 Iruka called out Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura as team alpha, and Kibo, Karin and Hinata was set as team beta. Kibo was surprised to say the least, but as it turns out it because of Itachi informing the Hokage of their training sessions Sarutobi's original change of just adding two new members to a team become this whole ordeal.

Team 8 Alpha was Ino, s.h.i.+kamaru, and Choji, team 8 Beta was Kiba, s.h.i.+no, and Sai.

The new team 10 was Sumaru from the Hos.h.i.+ Clan, Chiyo from the Chinoike Clan, and boy from the Uchiha clan named Ryo. Their beta team was Yak.u.mo a young maiden who came from the Kurama Clan, s.h.i.+ntai a boy from the Tenma Clan, and Sai's brother s.h.i.+n.

Soon everyone's captains and lieutenants entered the cla.s.s room to pick up their team, well everyone except team 7's.

Kurenai and Asuma were in charge of team 8, and Itachi and s.h.i.+sui were in charge of team 10. Sasuke was a bit disappointed that Itachi and s.h.i.+sui weren't their team leaders, but that's how life goes, you can't always get what you want.

Kibo wondered who'd be the lieutenant for their team when Naruto was starting to get jumpy, "Aughh! What's taking them so long?!" Naruto was pacing back and forth when he looked at the chalk board and had a mischievous idea. Naruto placed an eraser in the corner of the door and closed it leaving a small gap.

"You really think a Jonin is gonna fall for that?" Sasuke said, "Whether he falls for it or not, it's the principle of the matter. They need to be taught a lesson." No sooner than Naruto said this; the Door opened and everyone had their eyes on the eraser, when it landed on top of a Jonin with short unkempt brown hair and almond shaped black eyes. He wore the standard Konoha Jonin gear, with only some slight differences the neck of his navy blue s.h.i.+rt is form fitting and goes up to his chin. He also has two hip pouches strapped to his lower back instead of just one; in addition to that, he has a happuri-style forehead protector that frames his face, similar to that of Tobirama Senju. The eraser fell as everyone watched it bouncing off his head when the door opened completely; Kakas.h.i.+ was there looking at Yamato like he was a total rookie.

Sasuke was thinking, "Thank G.o.d, he's only the lieutenant! It'd be a shame if our captain actually fell that!"

Kakas.h.i.+ looked to the party and said, "Hmm! My first opinion of you guys." He paused and looked at Yamato to see his eye brows twitching out of annoyance, Kakas.h.i.+ then threw his thumb up and said "You guys are alright."

"Kakas.h.i.+ Senpai!" Yamato shouted in a harsh tone, Kakas.h.i.+ smiled and waved his hand while saying, "Come on its stuffy in here, let's go out to the court yard, and have a chat!" Everyone silently thought, "But there's no one in here but us."

After meeting up in the courtyard, Kakas.h.i.+ started talking, "Now I'd like you to tell me a bit about yourselves."

"Like what?" Naruto asked, "You know the usual, your favorite thing, what you hate the most. Dreams, ambitions and hobbies, stuff like that."

"Uh help us out here, how about you start Sensei?" Naruto said with an innocent face, "That's right! After all you're a total mystery to us, and we don't know the first thing about you!" Sakura added in.

"If you're going to ask for someone's name, it's only polite to give yours first." Sasuke said.

"He's got you there Kakas.h.i.+ Sensei! It's good to see you again, by the way!" Kibo chimed in.

"It's good to see you again as well Kibo, I'm glad your injury has healed." Kakas.h.i.+ replied.

"Yours too, I see you got that eye under control." Kibo noticed Kakas.h.i.+ wasn't wearing his head band over his eye any more, and the Sharingan receded so that must mean he can control it now.

"Actually it's thanks to that S rank skill you brought to the village all those years ago. It's no wonder your ancestor was able to go head to head with that Uchiha." As Kakas.h.i.+ said this Sasuke seemed intrigued "Which Uchiha?"

Kibo laughed and said, "Madara the old clan lord of the Uchiha!" Sasuke went wide eyed and slack jawed, before Kakas.h.i.+ said "Okay, back on point. I'll demonstrate, my name is Kakas.h.i.+ Hatake, I'm the kind of person who doesn't like to talk about his likes and dislikes, and my dreams for the future are none of your business. As for hobbies, well I have lots of hobbies. And now it's your turn!"

Everyone had a bit of sweat on their foreheads, while Kibo just shook his head, "Why don't I start! My name is Kibo Hos.h.i.+. As for things I like, Family, Friends, R&R, Training and my girlfriend." Karin blushed as Kibo continued "As for dislikes, I hate snakes, and thieves who like to take other people's eyes." Mostly everyone was clueless about his last comment, but he continued, "My Dream is to become an unstoppable s.h.i.+n.o.bi, create a True Village Hidden in the Stars, and become its Hos.h.i.+kage."

Kibo smiled as he finished, "My hobbies, crafting, martial arts and the rest are private."

Naruto went next, "Name; Naruto Uzumaki, I like my family, friends and. . ." he paused as he looked to Hinata, and back to Kakas.h.i.+ before saying with a red face "Hinata, and Ramen!" Hinata's face turned red and she pointed her fingers together and looked very shy.

Kakas.h.i.+ and Yamato had almost blank expressions on their faces, "Why do I feel so annoyed right now?" Kakas.h.i.+ thought, while Yamato thought, "Is everybody paired up? Seriously, what's with this group the Hokage sent me to? Is he trying to tell me to get a girlfriend?"

"As for dislikes, I hate it when people are two faced, bullies, and when my ramen get's cold. My future dream is to become the Hokage, and have everyone in the village acknowledge my existence! As for hobbies; pranks, practical jokes, eating ramen, wood carving and hanging out with my friends."

"My name is Sakura Haruno, things I like are Medical Nin-Jutsu . . ." Sakura looked to Sasuke and blushed, making Sasuke blush too. "Plans for the future are . . ." She looked at Sasuke again and placed her hands over her face while acting giddy before her att.i.tude completely flipped while she said "As for dislikes, Ino! As for my hobbies, they are chatting with my friends, and cooking."

"Karin's my name; I like Kibo, my Mom and friends! Plans for the future, become the future Hos.h.i.+kage's wife. As for dislikes, I'm no big fan of snakes either. Hobbies include medical Nin-Jutsu, and trying to embarra.s.s my boyfriend." Kibo lifted his brow and said, "Oh so you're doing it on purpose!" Karin smiled and stuck her tongue out.

"My name is Sasuke Uchiha, as for likes, Tomatoes, shuriken practice with my brother, and the rest is my business. As for dislikes, people who mess with my family and friends, and I hate fan clubs. Plans for the future, is to become Hokage!" Naruto lifted his brow, "You trying to steal my dream?!" Sasuke waved his hand, "I just don't want it falling into incapable hands!" Naruto pulled up his sleeve when Kibo stopped him and said, "That's not something you can say as a joke, you serious about this?" Sasuke nodded his head, "I don't want to be useless to my family, since I can't become the next clan head; I might as well aim for the top."

"Well Naruto, you better look out now, you got one h.e.l.l of a rival chasing the same dream." Naruto sat down with a 'humph!' "There's no way you're gonna defeat me!" Naruto said with his arms crossed.

"As for hobbies, training with my friends, and defeating Naruto!" Sasuke finished speaking when Naruto said "That last one isn't a hobby."

"It is when it happens so often!" Sasuke replied.

"You! We're tied 50 wins and 50 losses." Naruto said as Sasuke placed his hands up and shrugged his shoulders.

"My name is Hinata Hyuga, I like cinnamon rolls, sweet red bean soup, being with my friends, and N.Na. Naruto Kun!" Naruto really liked looking at Hinata's' face when she was embarra.s.sed, he had a warm smile on his face as she continued, "My future dreams are, becoming a good s.h.i.+n.o.bi, and. . ." She looked to Naruto and blushed. "My dislikes are crab, shrimp, and people who are cruel to others for no reason. My hobbies are, pressing flowers, and having fun with my friends and family."

"Good! Now that we all know each other a bit better, we will begin formal training tomorrow!" Kakas.h.i.+ said, while Yamato nodded his head. Naruto seeming eager to please followed up a "Yes Sir! So what are we doing?"

"Our first project includes only the members of this cell! Let's call it survival training." Kakas.h.i.+ replied.

"Why would it be that?!" Sakura asked

"Yeah, the whole stay at the academy we were taught survival tactics." Karin followed up.

"Oh but this isn't wilderness training, the things you have to survive against is us." Yamato said smiling with a look of revenge aimed at Naruto.

"Then what kind of practice are we doing?" Hinata asked, making both Yamato, and Kakas.h.i.+ snicker.

"What's so funny?" Naruto asked

"No! It's nothing. I just thought if I told you, you might chicken out!" Kakas.h.i.+ replied.

"Why?" Karin asked.

"Because out of the 10 teams, only 3 of them will become fully fledged Ninja's the rest will be sent back to the academy. The test we're about to perform has a 66% of failure." Kakas.h.i.+ said with dread in his voice.

"So anyways we'll meet up at the training fields tomorrow." Yamato said disappearing from view. Kakas.h.i.+ stood on the rail and said, "Oh yeah, don't eat breakfast tomorrow, it'd be a pain if you puked during training." Like Yamato he jumped off into the distance.

Everyone but Kibo was shocked, "Don't worry; we aren't like those that have failed before us. As long as we work as a team. Oh and he didn't say we couldn't bring breakfast with us, so pack a Bento, and we'll eat after." After listening to Kibo's words they all relaxed a little, "Besides, I have a feeling we'll be surprising them tomorrow."

Afterwards they all went home, Naruto could be heard in his room shouting, "Take, that, and that, masked Baka! Thinks he so cool! I'm going to pa.s.s!"
