"Open the door" Aaron said instead of saying h.e.l.lo. Aaron knew the moment Hayley mentioned that she and Caleb were going out, he knew she will be thinking mess the moment she was going to enter her apartment so he came to her apartment. He was free for two days anyway because he left his seminar mid-way and came back because of that his schedule was clear. His secretary asked him if he wanted to work but he denied he knows that Hayley needs him and he wanted to be there for her.

Hayley opened the door and found Aaron standing there with a box in his hand, she lets him in. Aaron brought Hayley's favorite chocolates because he knew only chocolates will work right now.

After a while they both settled themselves on living room sofa and Hayley had been munching those chocolates since she had her hands on them which pretty much the moment Aaron entered her house. Aaron grabbed her hand to made her stop she was on her fourth bar of chocolates and that was enough for one day. Hayley glared at him and he smiled at her and s.n.a.t.c.hed that last bar of chocolate from her hand which she was about to open.

" What's makes you happy Hayley?" asked Aaron out of the blue. This question of his made Hayley thinking and it gave enough time to Aaron to hide that box of chocolates. After a while Hayley opened her mouth but then shut it quickly then she stood up and ran towards her room. Few moments later she came back with a diary and handed it to Aaron .

Aaron looked at the diary for a while and then extended his hand to take it from Hayley's. When he opened first page he saw a quote written on it but it was not in Hayley's handwriting. " Life is an adventure, make sure you live it well and enjoy it" after reading this there was a smile on Aaron's face but he didn't know who wrote it and why Hayley gave him this. "My dad gifted me this he wanted me doc.u.ment my all epic moments in life and foremost he want me to make a bucket list and do all of that" said Hayley.

This made Aaron's smile go wider but what Hayley said next made him sad a little bit " It was also the last gift I got from my dad" Hayley said. After hearing this he looked up to her and saw her bowing her head and looking at her hands and Aaron knew that she was remembering her time with her father so he scouted over to her and hugged her with all his might and the moment he felt her relaxing in his arm a sense of relief course through his body.

He opened diary again and on next page he saw some piece of advices written in her dad's handwriting. first one was always surround yourself with happy memories , " This is why I put all these pictures here" Hayley interject. Aaron smiled and looked around living there were pictures of both of them and Hayley with her others. There was a collage of candid moments of them with others from Keith's wedding. On next page there was few things listed and Aaron knew this was the answer of question he asked few minutes back. He read it seriously like he was reading some holy script. First one was see the world and all the wonders of world and next on was get amazing set of friends and third one was have a beach wedding. This was the point who caught Aaron off- guard. It's not like Aaron didn't thought about marriage, he thought of it since the moment he realized his feelings for her but never expressed it to her because he was afraid it might scare her off. They were in a relations.h.i.+p for just six months maybe idea of marriage never crossed Hayley's mind with this thought he always controlled himself for expressing it but he was about to propose her on their first anniversary.

There was only three wishes in her list " So this you want from your life" Aaron asked and Hayley nodded. " I already fulfilled my second wish because I have you guys and for my first wish I am working hard for it and for third one.." she paused a bit to long and Aaron knew it was his turn to talk and rea.s.sure her " leave that to me" he said with a smile and pulled her back in a hug. " Caleb and I are friends and no past or secret can separate us" Hayley said and Aaron could feel a sense of determination in her voice and smiled at this he knew his Hayley will not let go friends and family just because of past . She will stand by them and that's make Aaron to fall in love with Hayley more.
