Chapter 3: The First Life (Part II)

When shy fatty host became 16 years old, the lord of the mansion finally remembered that he had a third son and was surprised to find what had become of him. Now, we should not blame our distracted mansion lord... we should a.s.sume that this was and effect of the punishment bestowed upon our favorite lazy soul to make sure that his host would not come to have any interesting or exciting event this early in life.

Our distracted mansion lord, feeling a little guilty, decided that his third son should do with some improvement and hire a swordmans.h.i.+p instructor to guide him, however lets a.s.sume that the heavenly punishment came into effect and, he forgot to pay attention to this unfortunate child after that, strangely he did not forget to pay for the sword instructor services.

Thus, shy fatty host began his training with an uninterested instructor who somehow never forget to come to work but could not help bothering to put much effort into this activity.

Now, our uninterested instructor was an old man who trained double fast swords, in which agility was the pillar in which this art depended. Thus, my dear readers could imagine that shy fatty host would have a little trouble to get this sword art into anything close to an acceptable form. Still, our uninterested instructor repeated the basic forms of the sword art every day for the next 10 years.

During this 10 years, out of boredom and distress, our favorite lazy soul would spend every night reviewing his beloved animes and novels and out of a whim he also recorded the double sword art on his memory palace and trained on it from time to time. Although one would think that this was useless, our favorite lazy soul found that this counted as some sort of visualization exercise which helped to strengthen his soul, only a little... but once again there was some sence of achievement on it.

During this 10 years, shy fatty host never left his home... besides the servants of the kitchen and our uninterested sword instructor, n.o.body seems to know of his existence. This would be surprising taking into account how fat and clumsy he was, except of course when it come to get out-of-the-way when a beautiful maid pa.s.sed by... then he somehow become a ninja of sorts. All of this increased the frustration and dread of our favorite lazy soul, who from time to time would put some thought of what his next life would be... would it be Naruto, where his favorite Hinata would be out of his reach forever while he would be a parasite living out of a civilian who worked on ramen stall. This though was depressing... perhaps been lazy was not a very good trait after all.

Now, going back to our uninterested sword instructor. He sometime forgot that he was teaching and simply started training on his own, ignoring his shy fatty disciple. It was thanks to this that our favorite now-not-so-extremely lazy soul get to see and memorize the middle realm of swordmans.h.i.+p, it turns out that the old instructor was close to realm of cutting steel but never managed to reach the realm. This caused him to mutter his thoughts on what he was lacking or what he though would be necessary to reach that realm. All of this were recorded on the mental palace for visualization exercises and who knows, perhaps this could come to good use in his third life.

But then again, he was dreading his third life more than the second life yet to come. He was well aware by now that he was indeed being punished, his second life would surely be in another fantastic word while he would not be able to interact in that word at all. But what if the punishment was beyond cruel, what if his third life, when he regains a body for his own and even got the motivation to do something for himself, ended on a normal world... without exciting adventures, without beautiful women and who knows.. he may not even reincarnate as a human. Now he was scared and terrified on the cruelty of whoever was that had given him such a punishment, why was it so wrong to be a bit of a lazy a.s.s? He never did something wrong to others, he firmly believed that, forgetting that he has no memories of his past life besides anime and novels, and feeling wronged and resentful.

Now, our fatty shy host has become a little mountain of flesh by his 25th birthday. Nothing eventful ever happened as he was not even aware of the word outside the mansion. One day our uninterested sword instructor did not come to work anymore, old age had taken its toll and his life. This brought an important change to the life of fatty shy host, he was a little sad that the old man was no more, but now he had more time to enjoy the delightful food without been bothered and no one forced him to train or exercise any more.

As one may logically expect, after a couple of years, fatty shy host died of a heart malfunction after performing and incredible ninja escape to avoid a beautiful pa.s.sing maid that never even noticed his existence...
