After the play, there happened a few plays and they were very typical and known ones and were extremely boring . The last play was done by a group of boys and they presented the difficult and hard life of soldiers . The screenplay was so good and the boys were perfect with the flow of events . One can say easily that they practiced a lot . The message was so heart touching and everyone was literally in tears and every ones heart was filled with patriotism .

After the plays, there happened some other minor compet.i.tions and then after an hour time it was time for the event that everyone was looking forward . The compet.i.tion for Miss University .

The MC entered the stage with a microphone in her hand and she stared to explain the rules and the selection process for the compet.i.tion .

The first round is the presentation, second will be talent show . After these two segments we will see a few dance performances followed by lunch .

During lunch hours we take the opinion poll from the selected students, guests and lecturers . And the last round will be a questionnaire round .

In the First round, there will be a total number of twenty five students partic.i.p.ating from different departments . Only a fifteen members will be selected to the next round then again five will be eliminated from these fifteen in the next round and in the last only five members enter the final round and from them only one will be awarded with the crown . "

The MC then looked at the princ.i.p.al and after receiving a slight nod from the latter she smiled and continued her introduction and started the competion .

She smiled a little and said "I now officially start the most awaited event of this fest, Miss University" saying this she left the stage with a smile on her face . Everyone's faces were filled with enthusiasm and eagerness .

All the lights on the stage went off and the stage was all dark . There was a light blue coloured light at a spot and the loud music was started and the crowd went all crazy .

The jury consisted of The Princ.i.p.al, The vice princ.i.p.al, HOD OF Arts, HOD of Chemistry, Abhi, Kunal, Dhruv , the Student President .

The princ.i.p.al who was sitting next to Abhi whispered in the latter's ears "Our college is famous for this competion and every one looks forward to it every year" his voice was all prideful when he spoke about his college and Abhi nodded his head with a smile . He turned his head towards his friend and said in a low but teasing voice "Brace yourself man not one or two but a total of twenty five, enjoy" .

Kunal sighed deeply and his face was all pale since he heard the word twenty five and four rounds . He literally has the urge to run away from there and he was scared and Abhi couldn't help but laugh at his friend .

The round started and all the partic.i.p.ants started to walk down the runway wearing beautiful evening gowns . The scene was such a spectacular one with all the beautiful ladies . Shriya was number 10 and Aksha Khan was in number 9 . Only two people were selected from each section and from B . Sc MBtC two people were selected Shriya Shren and Aksha Khan .

After walking on the runway, they stood in a beautiful pattern, and introduced themselves with their name, department, cla.s.s, section . They also have to discuss their hobbies, goal and other minor details to the audience .
