Shriya walked upto Abhi and pulled Preeti down from his arms. She was about scold her little sister, when the latter said in an adorable voice acting all cute and innocent "Dhi, I missed you so much".

Shriya replied in an innocent way showing both her and her man "But you two left without even saying good bye to me".

Vams.h.i.+ stood there and he was enjoying all this cute situation. He looked at Preeti who was so adorable and cute.

Before Shriya could say anything to Rahul, Abhi looked at his brother and said "Come in, you are the reason why we are hosting this party today, congratulations."

It was clear that Abhi was scolding his brother just then. Though it sounded like a greeting, it's not. And all the colors on Rahul's face vanished and it becam pale. His face became tensed.

He placed a gentle kiss on her forehead while Shriya introduced Vams.h.i.+ to Rahul. She said in her usual sweet voice "Rahul this is my cousin, Vams.h.i.+ and Bro this Rahul, Abhi's brother".

Both just nodded at each other as Vams.h.i.+ was not in a mood to talk to others as his eyes were fixed on Preeti. He said emotionally "It was already five years since I saw this cutie pie, She was only five back then and played around all day, but she now she grew up into a beautiful and well behaved kid".

Shriya said "I should thank Rahul for this, He is the one who takes care of her. She stays at the Mansion with him". Rahul said while scratching his head and with a faint smile "There's nothing to thank me Sisla".

Then they all settled down. Abhi focused all his concentration on the little girl, they both started playing all types of games and he gave her her favorite ice cream.

Shriya gave snacks to everyone and they munched on them. Shriya was working in the Kitchen while Rahul and Vams.h.i.+ were talking about some professional stuff. Seeing Vams.h.i.+'s professionalism in photography he asked the latter if he could do him some help.

Vams.h.i.+ accepted readily not thinking much about it. When the little girl and Abhi were playing, Preeti asked Abhi all types of questions like "What happened to you yesterday ?, why was your face so red ?, what you did after coming home so urgently last night and why didn't you tell me before leaving and why didn't you call me all night ?".

She showered him with so many questions that he didn't understand how to answer her and where to start. He know if he told her she will ask more questions, but he avoided her questions she will ask other people about it. Both are not good for him.

He replied to her with a smile "I ate something bad and that was why I had to leave early, Your prince is so sorry and he wants to apologize to his princess".

She patted his shoulder and said "Okay, apology accepted. How are you now ?".

He replied with a smile "After seeing my princess, I am fine."

Preeti giggled and Shriya came back to sit with her sister. She asked about her schooling and Rahul complained "She is so bad at academics".

Preeti muttered something which no one could hear. Seeing them all bickering Vams.h.i.+ said to Rahul "Thank you so much for taking care of Shriya and Preeti".

Rahul replied "What's there to thank me, she is my sister-in-law and that little witch is our love and they both are our family".

His words are sincere and he truly regarded them as his family. Vams.h.i.+ could see the genuinuty in his eyes and he asked "Is that cutie pie troubling you?"

Rahul looked at the girl who laid in Abhi's lap with her legs on Shriya's legs. She was playing with Abhi and Shriya and was giggling and her eyes were bright like sparkling stars in the sky and she was utterly adorable with her pure laugh.

He replied with his eyes full of adorable love and affection "She troubles me sometimes, but she is a mature kid and thinks so much about her sister, she only shows her childish nature infront of brother and Sisla".

Suddenly Preeti got up and stood in between Shriya and Abhi. She pulled them both together and they were sitting close to each other facing each other's faces with Preeti standing in between. He whispered in their ears making sure the other two people in the room who were staring at them with doubt and confusion couldn't hear.

When Abhi heard it, his eyes turned cold and he looked at his brother. Rahul could sense the tension and muttered under his breath "This little witch sure said something bad about me, she will throw me under the bus today".
