She looked at him and she didnot even get surprised when he asked her that question. He can always see through her and he always guessed right what was going on in her brain. She can't fool him anymore with her tricks.

She looked at him "I miss Preeti so much. I want to stay at the Mansion for a while. It's been really long that she and me stayed in the same room. I didn't even get to see her on the new year's day. I want to spend some quality time with her".

Abhi smiled and said with an a.s.suring smile "Okay, even I miss her so much. Let's do one thing. Let's take her back to the condo with us today and she can stay with us for a while."

Shriya knew he will propose this idea. But she had to convince him to stay at the Mansion so she thought of other excuses. So she insisted "No, we can't do that. Preeti's school is far from there and she is habituated to that place. She will feel different with us. Afterall it's so small for the three of us."

"Moreover it's not convenient for you stay at the condo now. It's very far from your office also and especially you have to do house ch.o.r.es everyday because I will be busy with seminars and other work from college from now on".

She looked at him and she understood that he is not convinced with her words. As expected he said "It will not be a problem at all. She is one good girl and she will blend in immediately. Moreover I think she will be more comfortable with us around than with all those servants. I don't have a problem with doing house ch.o.r.es".

She shook her head with annoyance and she decided to use the excuse which she kept as her last resort. She said with a firm tone "No, she can't stay with us. You will become a beast at night and is already teasing me enough already. I don't want my little sister to witness us doing some adult rated things and playing around."

She then turned away from his face and mumbled to herself "That would be so embarra.s.sing". But Abhi heard it clearly.

Abhi couldn't help but laugh hearing her excuse. He was surprised that she used this excuse to convince him. He thought 'You are trying your best to help that stupid brother of mine. Let's see what else you will do and what other ideas you have up your sleeve.'

He said after a moment of thought "Even if we move back to the Mansion, we will stay in one room and we will do the same weird stuff" and there is a hint of mischief in his tone and her face turned red instantly "and there is a chance that Preeti might see us at the Mansion too".

She said with a poker face "Atleast here the rooms are sound proof and is big enough for her to have a room for herself. We can have our privacy".

He chuckled and seeing her bold he was so amused. He wanted to tease her more but he know if he continue further he will have to sleep alone tonight. So he stopped and sat silent.

Abhi looked at her without saying anything and she tried a bit hard seeing him being silent and thinking "See.. I have exams in the next month and I can't do all the house work alone. So we should move and this is final". She was firm on her decision. she moved away from him and turned to look out through the mirror.

He sighed and said "I have to give that idiot a good beating. Now he know my weak spot, he is playing with my head."

She didn't turn back but mumbled "Who asked you to have a weak spot and especially let it know to others ?".

They stayed silent on the entire journey. He opened his phone and started going through the important mails.

They reached the Mansion and entered the central hall. Shriya had a poker face and Abhi carried a cold expression on his face. The servants all gathered there to greet them. The Housekeeper came forward and greeted them "Master, Madam". They nodded at the servants and walked inside.

Preeti ran down from the stairs happily seeing them entering and jumped right into Abhi's arms. He held her up and kissed her forehead with all love and care.

Shriya also looked at the little girl and kissed her on the cheek. But soon she asked her little sister "Didn't I tell you not to jump around ? You are not a kid anymore". She sounded a bit annoyed.

Preeti looked at the man who was holding her and whispered in his ears "Why is she so angry ?".

He ignored the woman beside him and walked forward saying "forget about her. She is silly". The little girl looked at him questioningly as she understood something is wrong with them and he replied "She asked me carry her too, but I don't want to. I will only carry my little princess".

The littel girl giggled happily and he carried the girl to the sofa and made her sit on his lap. He pinched her cheeks with his fingers and asked "Why aren't you at school".

Preeti replied "I came back early today. Gouthami sister is coming and I heard she is pregnant with Rahul's baby. So I went to buy a welcoming gift for her and the baby in the afternoon".
