"What's wrong babe?" Katie asked very confused as to what was going on. She was about to ask further questions when she felt James quiver followed by liquid falling on her neck. She felt even more confused but decided to comfort the strong and pa.s.sionate man in her arms.

So they just payed there, saying nothing but feeling everything. The already exhausted James soon fell asleep.

Later when it was bright out, Rose lightly knocked on the door and walked in followed by Nathan, Jeremy and Liam buy no Samuel. Jeremy and Nathan approached the bed while Liam and Rose stood to the side.

"Good morning, how do you feel?" Nathan asked wanting to a.s.sess whether Katie and truly woken up.

"I feel fine, what is wrong James? He seemed so sad when I woke up."

"Oh Katie you are back, I've missed you so much." Jeremy said as he rushed to the side of the bed.

"Back? I didn't go anywhere! What is going on?" Katie said as she started to feel frustrated.

At this point Rose and Liam walked towards the bed.

"Hi Katie, I'm Rose and this is Liam. If you don't mind me asking, what happened last night?"

"Umm, we were coming back from a farm walking up to Catherine's Manor when we were ambushed and then they umm... They released a gas that put us to sleep and after that I don't remember anything else. All I know is I wake up this morning and James is so sad and I don't know why." Katie explained.

"Alright Katie, that's good thank you. How about you go frshen up and your friends will wake James up and we can all have breakfast." Rose said without breaking her smile.

"Umm, okay. I guess I'll join you guys when I'm done." Katie got up from the bed careful not to wake James up.

Once Katie entered the bathroom Nathan and Jeremy woke James up and took the groggy James to their suite to freshen up leaving Rose and liam in Katie's room.

"Get two Red Roses to prepare clothes for Katie and to help her prepare." Rose said to Liam before leaving.

"How is she?" Samuel asked immediately Rose walked out, turns out he has been waiting outside for news on Katie but Nathan and Jeremy were no help.

"Why didn't you just come in? It's not like she knows you that well. Anyway she is fine and she has fully recovered her memory and she seems to not remember what happened after she was kidnapped, but we will find out more during breakfast.

An hour later everybody had gathered to the courtyard to eat breakfast. You would expect that in such a beautiful scenario with animals playing around and the lovely smell of flowers and the fresh morning breeze, that people would be able to eat well. But it seems like only Rose, Liam, Nana and of course Jeremy had the appet.i.te to eat.

"Aren't you all hungry?" Rose asked feigning ignorance.

"Could you just explain what is going on to me, I feel like I'm missing something." Katie said finally not able to keep it in.

"Alright, you were kidnapped the night at Catherine's Manor by some men. You were hypnotized for almost a month and they searched Evey for you. When I found you, you had just run into my car and pa.s.sed out, so I brought you back to my island where your friends came over in search of you. But you couldn't remember them, so Nana invited someone over who helped reverse your hypnosis. And now you are back to normal and remember all things except the last month. Hence, why Prince charming here was crying when you woke up." Rose said calmly like she was talking about a normal talking before picking up her tea to sip slowly.

"Hahaha, wait what? That's insane, seriously what happened." Katie asked obviously not believing the story.

"It's true dear, I've been looking for you for almost month." James replied gently squeezing Katie's hand.

"Oh come on, that's crazy. You know you act a lot like Catherine maybe this is just some prank. Where is Catherine anyway?"

"You do remember don't you girl?" Nana suddenly asked. "What happened? What are you afraid to tell us?"

"Nothing." Katie said but obviously not very convincing.

"Oh come on dear, what do you remember?" Nana asked again very warmly.

"I'll tell her and only her!" Katie said pointing at Rose.

"Very well!" rose replied with a smile that one couldn't tell what she was thinking.
